Came here yesterday because I had been craving pho for some time now and it was really the only place I remember seeing. I wasnt wasn't acknowledged when I first walked in. I kind walked around and stood there for a minute before I was told I could sit anywhere. The waitress came over and took my drink order and gave me a menu. I ordered the create your own pho with lean brisket, flank steak and eye of the round steak. It was pretty quiet and dark in the restaurant. The pho was pretty good. Really reasonable prices and they have a groupon deal going on. The bathroom however wasn't very clean and there was no toilet paper so I had to use rough paper towels. read more

I will not disclose what night i went, but it has to be said that despite being pleasant, the young staff is lazy. I walked in, all booths that were open were filthy and not bussed. #1 Service was not good. #2 This restaurant has no idea what authentic PHO should taste like. #3 The meat did not taste fresh. It had a frozen taste to it. Walked in, place was pretty thrashed, there were on like 2 tables clean, short staffed, but still no excuse to have the place so dirty, but then again, it's Waldorf.... Prices seemed alil high compared to Pho Places in Northern Virginia, extra noodles for Pho, $2.50, use to seeing $1.50.... Ordered Chia Tea, straight outta a box, mediocre. Slightly missing the potential of the tea cause the waitress watered it down... The Pho Ga was aveage and that's pushing it to the positive. I have loved this restaurant for over 7 years but after taking a break due to Covid I returned last night. Last night I walked in and wasn't greeted, the waitress was rude, dismissive and disrespectful to a table near by. She approached me and instead of greeting me said " you know what you want?". The chicken pho was unavailable so I ordered shrimp. My Thai ice tea was flavorless and too much cream, my appetizer was ok and my pho was flavorless. The only redeeming factor about this place was the lovely server we had. She was nice and pleasant. As for the food. Gross. I got the veggie pho, it did not have any tofu, and instead of Chinese broccoli they used bok Choy. They did not even warn me they were out of tofu. When I asked my server where the tofu was the guy cooking in the kitchen yells "were out". I'm not sure why he thinks it's acceptable to send food out without the advertised ingredients, but it is unacceptable. And then... have nerve to change the same price. Ha. The only pho restaurant in town and the food is pretty decent...that's why this place is usually pretty busy anytime we go. But it is just so run down and is in need of a makeover!! The dining room always turns me off but when you're craving some pho it's the only place to go! (Rhyme not intended!) It just worries me that the part of the restaurant we don't see is even worse if this is how they present the dining area of the restaurant. As soon as you walk in the restaurant there are signs all over the entrance doorway saying they don't except this coupon or this Groupon deal...blah blah blah. Just trashy and unprofessional. Then there there's always quite a bit of trash on the floor and all the bamboo decorations are broken and duct taped. But every single time we go most of the tables are full so I guess this type of decor disrepair doesn't bother the regulars. I will say we have always enjoyed our meals here. We usually get a spring roll appetizer and it comes out crisp and fresh. The Thai iced tea is a must and we enjoy that every time. I get a vermicelli bowl and the ingredients always seem fresh and I enjoy it. We would come here more often if the restaurant didn't look so broke down but overall it doesn't seem to bother many people. The manager at this location is very rude and money hungry. I ordered 3 orders of pho to go and one of the containers had a crack at the bottom causing all the broth to leak in my car. By the time I got home and opened the bag all of the broth was gone. I called to speak with the manager about a refund due to the inconvenience and was told that I needed to bring the empty container back to the store to receive a refund. It's unfortunate this is the only pho location nearby, but if you can I'd suggest going a little further to get better customer service. read more

Get there, turns out the dude who hung up never put In the order (that should of been my cue to leave). Well, my bf is sick and pho' would have been good. He said it was alright by the way. I went back to give them another try after my previous strong disappointment (one-star review). I really like pho, but there's a dearth of Vietnamese in this area and I really had a hankering for a bowl. I'm glad I did! I ordered the P1 Pho D'Lite (the works) and the serving was generous, indeed. All the ingredients were flavorful. I ended up getting another side of noodles, which speaks to the size of the serving. They changed out the sriracha brand since I was last there, which I thought was pretty good. I also enjoyed my glass of Thai ice tea. It was a very delicious meal and I went away very satisfied. The server was also very pleasant and the food arrived quite quickly. I will be back again, probably frequently. Because of the pleasant experience this time, I will be deleting my previous review. Recommend. Solidly good pho and I often find myself returning when I'm in the area. I've only had the pho here, so I can't comment on the rest of the menu. The restaurant itself is no frills, which is just fine by me. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. Our pho arrived within minutes of ordering - quick! With our soup, came a plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño, and lime. Plenty to share between the two of us. All of the tables also had sriracha and hoisin. Lunch special from Groupon. Had the combination pho soup with chicken and pork. Very nice staff, quickly accommodated as I entered the establishment. The food came out under 10min or so, maybe less. You know, I stopped here because I was sick and I wanted some Pho. The inside, really could use a little help. They had these bamboo poles with the thatching attached with duct tape up as like a wall when you walk in. A little odd looking. When you walk in, they ask dine in or take out, if done in, you are welcome to seat yourself. They will come and take your order. Food is good, prices and decent as well for the portion size of the bowl. That bowl seemed like it was serving size for a party. They put the topping for the Pho on the side, which I appreciate. I never see anyone that even looks old enough to be a manager. Seems like the place is ran by teenagers. They don't know how to multitask and move at zero speed. The phone. Omg the phone. This place has gone downhill. The service is below sub-par. I never received my food this time so I can't speak to the quality. There was multiple people also waiting longer than their pick-up time to get food as well. I waited almost 15 minutes after pick-up time to only have them rush the order and get it wrong. There is no way to request a refund for online orders. Servers have to call the owner and get interrogated to request a refund and basically plead a case for it. Just came yesterday afternoon with two friends (one of them my travel buddy!) and by the time I stepped inside for the first time and was greeted with a very pleasant odor of food being cooked, I knew I was in for a treat!!! We ordered two Fresh Shrimp Summer Rolls and I was surprised at how soft yet sticky it was but it had incredible durability in spite of its fragile looking appearance. The accompanying peanut sauce was definitely on point too! All three of us later ordered the Pho Veggie (Pho Chay) and when it was delivered, the smell was like something straight out of Heaven or the streets of Vietnam...Maybe both LOL! I ordered mine along with an extra bowl of noodles. The vegetarian broth alone tasted like I just drank the Holy Grail....Every food item in my bowl had a delicious taste even the fried tofu! (I'm not a vegetarian/vegan but I'm always open to tasting many different cuisines in different cultures, and I consider vegetarianism and veganism to be two cultures :)) We also added sriracha sauce and another sauce who's name escapes me (it was a dark sauce, both sauces can be found on the tables) and it elevated the taste of the pho even more so (I'd recommend adding the two sauces on the tip of your chopsticks or in the large spoon instead of adding them in the bowl. Could be a good way to test your taste buds on whether or not you think the sauces will be a nice combo with your pho). Service was REALLY quick yet efficient and the waiting staff and customer service were very friendly and attentive. It was also the first time I tried my hand at chopsticks more seriously. Since we moved to the area, we've been trying to find good pho/vietnamese close by. We found this place by accident when getting lost lol. The inside is nice and spacious. It has an open kitchen area. There's ample seating as well. Parking is no issue as this is located in a strip mall. The staff here is great. Shout out to Kayla for putting up with my innuendos haha! The food is good. Broth is not too oily or salty. The bun bowls are tasty as well. They give a lot of meat in the bun trio. My only wish is that they would make the fried spring rolls a little fatter and a little more meat. For the price, i feel it should have more to it. Not great. The things that stood out to me were the sluggish service and the so-so pho. I went around 2 on a Sunday and it was pretty full, so maybe it's just because of the rush. The table was clean, but there were plenty of napkins on the floor beneath it. One of our members ordered water and tea, but only received water. Another of our members kept refocusing the conversation on a conspiracy theory that involved other tables being served before us. Hot water refills with for the empty tea mugs were never suggested as the server made her rounds. As for the pho, I got the meatball pho, and they had some rather hard chunks of cartilage in them. Maybe I just got unlucky, or maybe that's the way they're supposed to be, but I wasn't a fan. The soup itself was fine, but the noodles were kind of... chopped up? I couldn't tell if they were cut up for some reason, or they rip apart when you try to pick them up, but it reminded me of one of my friends who used to pulverize his ramen inside the pack before pouring the tiny bits into the boiling pot. Was really happy to see a Vietnamese restaurant opening soon. Went in and had their Pho D'lite, and the broth was 5/5, and meat was 4/5. I was really disappointed with the pho selection though, no combinations nor seafood, not even bun bo hue. The price of the meatball add-on was 2.50 for a small meatball cut into 5 pieces...so I won't do that again although I love having meatball with it. I ordered Pad Thai with Chicken today. I receive unflavored rice noodles with a chicken breast sliver eggs and peanuts. I asked for it to be spicy, and was told that the Pad Thai does not come spicy ?!? OK. I asked for chili pepper flakes. I received a side cup of hot chili sauce and was charged for it. This was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had in my life. I could not finish it, I even tried to add more veggies to it to make it palatable. I will never return. read more

Normally love this place. It's always extremely fresh and delicious. BUT today I went in bc I was not feeling well and ordered a pho creation. When I got home with my order I realized they forgot my noodles. I called them and the lady helping me said she would give me fresh ones, but now they're about to close so I didn't have time. So I'm hoping they will keep their promise to give me extra noodles next time. We will see and I will update my post if it happens. I had to use what noodles I have so it's definitely not Next time I went it they gave me extra noodles and a broth for free. Took my wife here for pho and it was her first time having it. She loved it! This is a real pho spot and you won't be disappointed. Would be 5 Starr's except when we got here one of the waiters said "seat for 3?" We said yes, he then said seat yourself but the problem was there was no tables for 3 available.
