I wasn't feeling the greatest and was craving something warm, so I decided to try Pho D'Lite. The atmosphere is a little dated, but still comfortable overall. I went with the P1, which the server mentioned is a popular choice. The dish came out surprisingly fast and was solid--while I've definitely had better pho elsewhere, this spot is convenient and hits the spot when you need something comforting. I also tried the jasmine tea with honey, and that was the highlight--absolutely amazing. The service was excellent as well. My server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made the experience better, so she definitely earned a full tip. I'd come back again whenever I'm in the mood for that warm, "hug in a bowl" type of meal.

The broth in this pho is absolutely incredible--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a delicate touch. I tried the pho ga, which is made with tender chicken, and it came with all the classic fixings like noodles, fresh mint, and crunchy bean sprouts. As a pho lover, this dish did not disappoint. Everything was so fresh and satisfying, I could easily eat it every day! It's comfort food at its best.

This is awesome for a chilly fall day. The broth is seasoned just right. Our food came out hot and quick. Our server was fast and knew a lot about the dishes on the menu. The place is clean and great for families. The prices are fair. Perfect spot for a weekday dinner out.

Now I get why they call It D'lite because that's what it was, DEEEEEEE-LIGHTFUL!!! Took my Son and daughter as first timers last week and we were MORE than satisfied! My son took his girlfriend a couple days later. Trust when I say my whole family and I are foodies at heart and will say when food or beverage isn't good or well seasoned! Good food ohhhh almost forgot the price was right! In my Arnold Terminator voice impression, "I'll be back!" :)

Best pho anywhere. I came all the way from California just to eat it. The broth is rich and flavorful, the meat is always tender, and the portions are generous. Worth every mile.

While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.

Added bonus was the fact that I still got the Korean bonchon and I personally love kimchi, so it was amazing. I'm not going to lie: the sushi was far better than I expected it to be. I ordered either the Monday or Wednesday lol and a spicy toner. I also ordered the beef Gyoza. In total, my bill was 26 or so dollars. The rolls were a very good size. I really liked the flavor of the special roll I got. It was a good size and tasted pretty fresh. I would definitely come back. We originally came to use the 2 for 12 culinary classics special but ended up adding proteins, drinks, and garlic bread so with everything (two bowls with protein, two drinks, cheesy garlic bread), the total was a little over $30. I could've done without the protein in my bowl. In my opinion Noodles and Company is one of those places that tastes better with all the "fixins", so if you can add anything to elevate your bowl I highly suggest it. However, the proteins are pretty basic and don't seem to add much pizzazz to the dishes. My partner complained that the noodles were heavy and greasy, but mine were . Not your traditional pad Thai but pretty decent for a chain. I asked for no cilantro (yuck). The cheesy bread barely had any cheese on it, was a bit dry, and I didn't care for the flavor of it, so I probably won't order that again. Service was good and our food came out in about 10 minutes. I liked the simplicity of the chicken noodle soup. It was well seasoned and tasted good. I was less impressed with the pad Thai with chicken for protein. It had an odd flavor that I cannot place, but it must have been what they marinaded it with...I don't like the flavor. While the spicy Korean steak noodles had a similar flavor, the tenderness of the steak and the spicy complement helped to distract from whatever they put on the noodles that dampens the dishes. However, I'm glad I grabbed the rice krispy treat for a snack - it was yum!

The vibe here is of a casual diner, with an expansive menu that changes often with the seasons and local eats. I came here after visiting a friend out in the Waldorf area and decided to grab take-out before heading back into DC. I will admit I almost did not stop here because it was near closing time and I hate order from place near closing. I got here near closing and the food was just as fresh as if it was opening time. We all know how it is getting somewhere to eat near closing time.... You tend to get subpar service and food. You subject to getting a scraps, bad orders, guilty eye rolls from your server, "ain't got this, "ain't got that," issues....lol. But, this was not the case at this Silver Diner. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Our bartender/server was Cameron C. and he did an amazing job serving us and making us feel welcomed. He's truly a people person. He kept the drinks on point while we waited for our food and made sure our orders were prepared exactly how we requested. During this visit, I tried the Short Rib Burger, Loaded Fries as a side & Buffalo Wings. Everything was delicious and fresh. And, the burger was the star!...A juicy 1/2lb burger pattie cooked to perfection....topped with bacon & tender braised short rib!! It was complete meat overload, super fresh and sooooo good! For anyone that is "meataholic" like myself...you gotta try this thing. My wings and the loaded fries complemented my dish well too. Not to mention, everything was packed well for the long haul and drive back to DC....of course, I couldn't resist and snuck in a few bites of the fries at each stop light heading back down Route 5. Let's just call it a #qualitycheck! lol ;-) In all, I enjoyed my visit. This location gets two thumbs up in my book. I'l definitely visit this SD again if I am ever in this neck of the woods hungry and in need. * Yelp Elite Tip & Honorable Mention: Sign up for their "Eat Well Do Well" Rewards Program. It's an all-you-can-eat experience where the food is brought to your table and you cook it yourself. The service was the highlight of our visit. Our server was wonderful, the hostess was welcoming and full of personality, and another staff member even stopped by to make sure we were being helped. That level of attentiveness is rare and appreciated. We ordered quite a variety, including squid, shredded chicken, shredded beef, shrimp, rolled beef, top steak, and several sushi selections. Most of the food was good, and everything arrived promptly. The sushi was decent, though not quite as fresh as I expected. I was also surprised that the top steak came as small cubes rather than a steak portion. The biggest disappointment was the no take-home policy. As first-time visitors, we didn't realize how much food would come with some of our orders and ended up leaving a significant amount behind. It's frustrating to see good food go to waste after you've already paid for the meal. The restaurant itself could use some updating. Several booth seats were worn and cracked, with foam showing through the upholstery. At $32-$37 per person, the dining area should feel a little more refreshed. For drinks, I had the Lychee Martini, which was weaker than expected, and my husband tried one of the Ocean cocktails and thought it was just average. He ended up ordering his usual tequila shot and a beer afterward. The drinks weren't bad, but they didn't live up to the rave reviews we had read beforehand. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, especially because of the excellent service and unique dining concept. With a few updates and some reconsideration of the leftover food policy, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

However the service is absolutely terrible and only declining. Pace yourself when you're drinking whatever drink you ordered because the chance of you catching your waiter to get another one will be almost non existent. Mostly teenagers are employed here which is good for the work experience but they are too busy on their cell phones to check on their tables. Even when the restaurant is empty you will still not receive service. You will watch your waiter pacing back and forth on their phone longer than you will spend drinking your water/soda. I used to come here once a week but the service has deterred me so much that at most I come once a month and each time I come it's getting worse and worse. I've had to pull the manager up on shift one time to ask for a simple refill because my waiter was too busy on the phone. I'm usually a great tipper, 25% or more, here I simply give 18% because most visits I sit for 30+ minutes with nothing to drink and zero way besides walking up to the waiter to get their attention since their phones are so close to their face it's touching their noses. I won't even come for dinner anymore because the price is not worth their service.
