    Shrimp Pho

I personally didn't like the place nor the food. It didn't smell or taste good. I also felt a little rushed because it seemed they cared about the regulars more. If you like pho, you can try it but I didn't like it.

A solid pho spot in this county. It's a small, family-owned restaurant with friendly service and plenty of seating. The pho and drinks are good- definitely worth a visit if you're craving a comforting bowl..

This spot isn't the most veggie- or vegan-friendly, but the staff and owners are incredibly kind and attentive. I ordered the #15 and just removed the shrimp...it was still really tasty! While I would've loved a true veggie option, I didn't mind too much since I was just stopping in for a quick lunch. Definitely recommend for anyone without dietary restrictions looking for a solid lunch spot!

This spot has great pho, the staff was attentive, and pricing was fair. It was pretty busy the time i was in there and folks were satisfied! The pho broth was flavorful and the veggies and toppings were fresh. A great spot!

    Large pho Tai (#1)

Decided to order pho nearby for the first time in Maryland. For a large, $16.50, bowl of pho (specifically the #1 Tai), this is the smallest order I have ever received for the price but also the size that is advertised which is "large". I ordered one for me and my husband and I ordered a small bowl of pho for my 2 year old with meatballs. For $14, the amount for price is a literal scam. I don't have a picture because my daughter was ready to eat but it was about the same size of noodles with about 7 sliced pieces of meatball (if you go to an Asian grocery store, it is about 2 Asian beef meatballs). If you are desperate for pho because you don't want to make the drive to DC, then go crazy. But as someone who has had many bowls of pho in my lifetime, this is not worth the money at ALL. By the way, it was $53 for 2 large bowls, 1 small, and an order of spring rolls. I wouldn't complain if the portion sizes were appropriate for the price. Extremely disappointed.

Pho Viet is exactly how I like my pho spots - small, low frills, tucked away, and HYPER local. I was SHOCKED when I searched for pho on Yelp and saw a location that WAS NOT over the bridge. This spot isn't too far from the base. It's in a plaza that is somewhat questionable at times, but it's there. My experience was great. The vibe is super casual here. People from all over were rolling in in everything from suits to leggings and sweats. The service was great. The food was quick, employees were kind and the price was right! A large chicken bowl with beef broth, pork spring rolls, a Coke, extra noodles and extra broth (for the kid) for $23. And yes, they take cards. There's a surcharge but it's nominal. The pho was good AF. Even without the fish sauce, hoisin, etc. additions. I'll def be back! Spring rolls are good, too - they almost remind me of lumpia.

The staff here is super nice. They seem to be very personable with their regular customers and they know each other by name. I loved that I saw that because there is a carry out nearby that I have been going to since I was a little girl and they treat me like a literal stranger. Service was quick And our food was tasty! I also love that the Pho here is affordable. I usually get pho in DC and the prices are just ridiculous. You can order for children as well my 2 y/o enjoyed herself. One of the staff members also gave her a lollipop before we left. Will be back!

Was craving some Pho soup today and found this place on Yelp! Called to place my order for pick up and my order was ready when I arrived. Was greeted and welcomed with opened arms. Even added an Iced Matcha to my order and it was delicious. Despite having no veggies in my soup- my soup was still flavorful and delicious as well as the summer and veggie spring rolls. The restaurant itself was spacious and plenty of room. I hope this place does good business and stay open. From the looks of business and the shopping center this restaurant is located....IDK... I could definitely see myself returning for pickup when I don't feel like taking a ride to Va lol... *fingers crossed* Happy Yelping!

Popped into this little spot after a day of thrifting ( if you know you know) because I was feeling a little bit under the weather. There's something about PHO that warms the insides and makes you feel better. This is one of my local haunts because it's near home The place was empty. I sat myself and was immediately provided a menu with all of the options. So service was definitely not an issue. Mind you, this little space in the strip mall is dated. They definitely need an upgrade. It looks like something from the 1980's. Not pretty at all. I ordered the spring rolls and the pho with chicken broth and shrimp. I've always wanted to try something different from my usual. I wasn't disappointed. Of course they served the traditional condiments; jalapeno; fresh basil; lime and bean sprouts. Hosin and sriracha were already on the table. I've had better pho. Honestly but this was flavorful. Broth was clear and well seasoned. I counted 6 large shrimp in my small serving bowl. The highlight for me was the pork spring rolls! Hot, crunchy and delicious. Served with the dipping sauce. I could have had two orders of that and been quite satisfied. All in all, if you're in the area and craving something warm and cozy in your belly, this Pho will probably be a good choice not great but definitely delicious.

This restaurant is in a strip mall near Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. They have great customer service and the ambiance is good with a steady stream, parking is good, and the price is very good for the area. They do a great job on their Vietnamese Coffee and Thai teas and their rolls are as to be expected. ***I would say if you are a Pho fanatic or a Bahn mi fanatic, then this is NOT the place for you. The pho broth is not as rich or complex as others. The bahn mi baguette was ok and the sandwich was built technically correct, but the chicken was potted- minced chicken and dry. ***Over all , still a 3.5 to 4 for all the other mentions; especially the drinks.

    Beef banh mi sandwich
    Greg S.

So this hidden gem was excellent. The Banh mi sandwich was roughly $6.50 and worth every penny. The french bread was crispy on top and soft on the inside. The slices of beef was tender and flavorful like it was gently grilled. The pickled vegetables were crisp, seasoned, and piled high. The sauce inside was sweet with a little tangy-ness. I was shocked this was so close to me and suprised I haven't seen to many reviews on this place. My wife had the beef pho and she stated it was absolutely a flavor explosion! Give this place a chance differently top notch. The inside of the restaurant had a cool relaxing feeling. There was music playing in the background and friendly employees.

The ordering process can be a bit confusing as you can order on a kiosk or there is someone at the register that you can also order from. Would be a dream for someone that doesn't prefer interaction. The bathrooms were REALLY nasty. Seemed as if they had not been cleaned in a while. There were also several tables that were empty but also dirty. I took the spray bottle since there wasn't an employee around to clean it myself. All in all the place is decent but they can do some tweaks to fix the location up.

The family with the girl and boy that ran the front is not there anymore. So if you used to come here like me, I'm doing you all a favor and letting you guys know this place is TERRIBLE now that they switched owners. Not only that but much more expensive for a poor quality imitation of what this place used to be under the OLD owners. Small bowl is more than $18 now!!! Insane. I got a small bowl asked for half noodles they didn't do that and only had fatty brisket in it even though I got #11 which included also tendon and flank. YALL THIS PHO WAS COLD. The temperature was as if someone left hot tea out for 30-40 minutes. No more piping hot clear good broth, this broth from the new owners is MURKY AND BROWN and cold/lukewarm. I didn't say anything but just know I will NEVER come back its simply not worth it. Pickled onions was drowning in a weirdly sweet vinaigrette. Go elsewhere for better pho. I feel like these new people know they are not as good as the old people so they didn't tell anyone about the owner switch and are basically tricking people into coming and paying more money for worse pho riding on the coattails of a different owners reputation and I feel weirdly upset about that, like I've been tricked. If you guys used to come here all the time with the old owners then you will understand how upsetting this is. This place survived through the pandemic in the middle of PG that's how good they were. Pillar of the community just gone now. Also they won an award for being one of the best woman owned businesses but it's not woman owned anymore and the new owners haven't changed anything and they still have that sticker up even though it's not a woman owned business anymore. Like I said they are just riding the coattails of the previous owners.

The Spring Rolls were perfectly prepared, flavorful, served with a light and acidic dipping sauce. My water glass never ran empty and dishes were whisked away immediately upon finishing my appetizer. Then the pho showered up, with the thinnest shaved beef, rare and melt in your mouth good. The culantro butter was amazing. The bread was soft. The vegan butter was nothing like I've ever tasted. You would never guess it was vegan. So flavorful and creamy. Then we got the salmon crudo. This was simple but flavorful. The strawberries weren't needed though. Then we got the mochi beignets. This was so unique. Flavor bomb for sure. Nothing exciting and the consistency of the eggplant could have been softer. Then we got the gnocchi and crab. This was our absolute favorite. Like wow! So flavorful and decadent. The crab was the cherry on top. Then we got the quail and tomato rice. The quail was kind of dry on its own. Needed the tomato rice. The lemongrass pork was another favorite. The char and consistency of the pork was so good. The mango added a nice contrast. Then we the dessert. I wanted to like these as they have received awards for their desserts but this was just too complex for me. First we got the pandan pannacotta. There were these pieces of seaweed that really threw off the whole dish. Then we got the green curry sponge with a fish caramel sauce. This was okay but not sure I liked this savory/sweet combo.
