If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese pho, this place is a wonderful choice. The broth is beautifully clear, rich, and full of deep, slow-simmered flavor without being overly salty. The beef was tender and generous, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and lime were exceptionally crisp and vibrant, allowing each bowl to be customized to taste.

I came here on a Friday night based off a friend's recommendation. To me, the dinning area had a standard setup. A bunch of tables and a main counter. I was seated right away and given water without asking. I ordered a large combination pho with Vietnamese coffee. The broth was good, not too salty. The large pho was super huge with plenty of meat. The coffee was great! Strong and sweet just like I like it. Overall it was a good experience but this area has so many Vietnamese restaurants until there's a lot of competition.

Took my parents to PDL for lunch today. I ordered the medium (fatty) brisket and they ordered the combo bowls. What I like about PDL is their prices. A medium is $16 and a large (which is more like an ex large) is $17. You can get a full hearty bowl of soup for under 20 bucks. Definitely a great price. Only suggestion I would make is to make some renovations to the interior of the restaurant. I feel like it would definitely make the ambiance that much better. Otherwise, The service was fast, so, no complaints there.

I want to be upfront with this review and call out my experience honestly. Personally, I'm sensitive to heavy MSG usage. When I eat at many Japanese or Korean soup restaurants that don't rely heavily on MSG, I rarely get headaches afterward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I ordered the bún bò Huế, a spicy and rich Vietnamese noodle soup originating from the central city of Huế. Traditionally, it features a bold, savory broth flavored with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with thick rice vermicelli noodles, sliced beef, pork (often shank or knuckle), and fresh herbs with crunchy vegetables like banana blossom or cabbage. The portion was generous and visually accurate to the dish, but the broth felt extremely heavy and overpowering for me, and I left with a noticeable headache--something that doesn't usually happen to me at similar soup-focused restaurants. As a side note, the restaurant had a health inspection score of 81 (low B) the last time I checked, which is fairly in line with many older, high-volume ethnic restaurants, but still worth mentioning for transparency. The location is also something to be aware of. It's in a busy parking lot with a lot of reckless driving activity, so be careful when walking--this isn't the kind of place where you can casually stroll through the lot like you might at Whole Foods or Publix. You definitely need to watch left and right. The surrounding businesses include an American Deli and a pizza buffet, which gives you an idea of the overall environment. Overall, Pho Dai Lo serves authentic, bold-flavored Vietnamese dishes, and fans of strong, intense broths may enjoy it. However, if you're sensitive to very rich seasoning or additives, your experience may vary. Im Asian btw I know msg is used in a lot of viet and Chinese dishes and maybe the reasons why I enjoyed this dish. But I do have regret after coming out. It's not cheap either for two person with tip roughly $20 pp. u can get all you can eat buffet or even the Gohan seafood buffet if you think about it.

Pho Dai Loi 3 is one of the three restaurants of its namesake except this one is in Duluth. This is a popular household name among people in Metro Atlanta who are interested in Vietnamese food. There are a lot of Vietnamese people who eat here, which should be telling about the food. This location, like the others, is a pretty casual restaurant. You are seated fairly quickly and the service is speedy. We got the Cha Gio, Pho Tai Gau, and Bun Bo Hue. The Cha Gio was thick and crispy. I enjoyed the filling inside, but it tasted pretty typical of egg rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant. The Bun Bo Hue was alright to me; I squeezed a lemon in there to add more flavor. I will say that they are generous with meat portions in the soup, although I wish this place (and other Vietnamese restaurants) would give more noodles in these soups because that is my favorite part! My boyfriend scarfed down the Pho Tai Gau, which had a good broth from what I remember. Overall, I think this is a classic place for anyone to check out if they are looking for a chill Vietnamese spot to eat at.

Food/Drink Pho Dac Biet is my go to and never fails to disappoint. Great portions and great flavors. My girl loves to get the Bun Bo Hue here. She says they give a lot of meat and the broth is pretty good. I like how they give the proper fixings for each dish. I've had some restaurants only give things for pho even though someone ordered bun bo hue. Their coconut drink is good. Service Service is great! Fast, accurate, and attentive. Food came all at the same time and the extra requests made were fulfilled - heated bean sprouts and raw meat on the side. Ambiance This place is very mellow and casual. Nothing fancy and very much a typical Vietnamese restaurant

As already a fan of Pho Dai Loi #2, I was excited to find out the #3 was just around the corner from where I already was! Got seated right away and had about 3 people come up to take the order within 5 minutes of sitting down, staff were on their toes like always. I got their bun bo hue which I loved! Usually I have a hard time finding a place that makes a balanced and full broth but I seemed to have found my match. There are lots of blood cubes, pork feet, and other unique cuts in the soup. Love the fresh vegetables on the side as toppings and thought the lemon wedges were unique since it's usually limes. Would love to come again for this quick service mom & pap shop for their casual and comfortable environment.

Very bad service and very stingy with the food and drinks. Food is good and taste amazing, it's the PEOPLE that work there. They are very rude and make you feel rushed. Very today and ask for hot taro drink without boba and they brought frozen which wasn't a big deal, ask for a change, the server looked ticked off. She went, came back with boba in it when I had already told her twice "without", I left it alone and just gave it to my friend and asked for another one without Bobba. Finally she gives me what I asked for in a very nasty way... I finally got the to go check and asked for another one because the drink it's self taste good but this time around I ordered it without ice so it could be filled up to the top. TELL ME WHY SHE CAME OUT WITH IT HALF WAY FILLED BECAUSE I ORDERED WITHOUT ICE . I said something about it and they looked annoyed, they took it back, took her a while and brought it to me "filled" to the top. I did not drink it because you would know what that meant as soon as they took long on a 30 second drink.

I was craving some Vietnamese food on my way to the airport so stopped by Pho Dai Loi 3. It's located on a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant was pretty casual, low key with minimal decor. We were seated as soon as we walked in but the waitress asked if we were ready to order before we even looked at the menu. She came back with waters and asked us again if we were ready to order so I felt a bit rushed. My husband had the Vietnamese coffee. I was a bit confused that it came out with hot water in a styrofoam cup and a spoon. I've never poured hot directly into the cup of coffee which was what the waitress did when we asked what it was for. The fried shrimp came out fast, it was good but I wish it was more fragrant with black pepper. It came with sweet chili sauce which complimented it but wish it was fish sauce instead. My bun no hue was ok, flavor wasn't bold and it wasn't spicy, but came loaded with noodles and meats. My husband's chicken pho tasted sweet, with a nice light aroma. He said he liked the broth. No one checked in with us after we received our food. After waiting 15+ mins, we decided to walk up and pay. Overall, good meal but service and broth flavors could be improved.

Heard good things/ v good reviews on Yelp AND they have 3 restaurants in Atlanta so we were like ok must be OK (at worst) but uh.... the bahn mi was super soft (no crunch or chew) think like the bread from subway untoasted... the filling was super stingy (literally there was only pork in the middle) and WAY too much mayo the pho was ok - noodles were a little overcooked and broth was nothing special. The spot is renowned for pho and one of 3 locations in atl. The service is quick and the food arrives pretty efficiently after the order. No fuss spot that just feeds a hungry soul. The brisket pho was very good all round. The chicken however as a texture was not so good. They are very generous with the meat portion so come hungry.

There and back again with one of our top three pho places in Atlanta. This time, I wanted to try Pho Dai Loi's beef stew, bo kho. It's very similar to most Asian beef stews, filled with chunks of carrot and beef tendon. Truthfully, I prefer this a lot more than western beef stew mostly because of the tendon. Somehow that ligament just traps in the flavor of the soup a little better than sheer meat. Pho bo kho comes in three sizes at Pho Dai Loi #3: medium, large, and extra large. An extra-large is definitely shareable, but I ordered a medium because I planned on not sharing and finishing it all! Muahaha. Here's the rundown: Pho Bo Kho (with meatballs) PROS -good amount of meat shank and tendon as well as carrots -soup was super flavorful and rich, not watered down: I have had some watered down pho before and it tasted like it just had salt added to kick up the flavor but no "beef" heartiness. -soup was also not overly salty or super seasoned: this usually happens when it's the end of the day and you have gotten the bottom of the pot. I hate getting "the bottom of the pot" because it's full of the dregs and meat strands. -nice amount of noodle: not too much where all the soup gets soaked up after five minutes of the dish arriving at the table, but not too little where you're not full. CONS -not enough meatballs: I ordered this as an addition to my bo kho, but I only found three pieces. My heart was definitely sad that day. All in all though, it was a good beef stew. I'd definitely go back again. Truth be told, all the Pho Dai Loi-s in the Atlanta suburbs are spot on. PDL #2 is probably my favorite followed with #3. Lee's Bakery though comes in top for their combination egg noodle. So yummy. Not to mention, it's pretty perfect for this upcoming winter season! read more

Our go to pho place! Two words - flavorful broth. Such rich, beefy, well seasoned broth to warm up even your coldest days and drunk-est nights! There is no better place in the area to get you some nice hot bowl of homemade - tasting pho. You can get a small, medium, or large pho depending on how hungry you are. If you cant decide which pho bowl to get, get the pho combo! It had almost every beef topping included in the bowl. There is just as much meat as the noodle! The noodle is soft but still firm to hold shape. The toppings that come with it are your usualy bean sprout and herbs plus lime and jalapenos. Also there is sriracha and hoisin sauce and even chili oil so you can adjust the taste as you like. I like to make my broth red with sriracha cuz i love the heatttt The appetizers are also very good! I highly recommend the fried shrimp roll appetizer and the spring roll. That peanut sauce that comes with it is so good! They also have a limited drink menu. My top recommendations are the iced vietnamese style coffee (very strong expresso with condensed milk) and avocado smoothie. Cant go wrong with either! I have yet to venture on their other menu items because their pho is just fireeee, but I will in time try other stuff. We also love the lady owner here, she is always so nice and will recognize you when you become regular. Keep the pho coming! read more

The portions are truly generous. Best around. The taste is ok enough. I am not as familiar with ATL area Vietnamese food, but I've had better in other cities so I would guess there are better options here. We stopped by this outpost tonight. This 3rd outpost opened a few months back and I have been meaning to get here. The Pho broth was quite tasty, and all veggies were VERY fresh. The fried Egg Roll was awesome, minced fine and very flavorful. One of the best I have had recently. As opposed to the generic orange fish sauce with carrot bits, their sauce incorporated what looked like finely minced garlic and some other bits. Yum! The Shrimp Summer Rolls were fresh. This chain is my favorite and i used to go to the Buford local a few times a week. I was somewhat dismayed in 2009 to see 2 price increases, and what I felt was a lack of attention (freshness and the above average quality I expected) to the detail of the product. I am very happy to see this outlet on the right track. Two thumbs up, keep it up guys. read more

Delicious Vietnamese food. They have all the popular items such as Pho, Vermecilli, Rice plates, etc. Although this is a chain restaurant with the brother-chain in Jonesboro and sister-chain in Doraville; each location has their own way of making certain dishes so I personally think they do NOT all taste the same due to different chefs. But it's still all flavorful. This place is OK compared to the other two locations. read more

Ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue and a Che Thai. The bun bo hue was a solid fix for noodle soup and the Che Thai was very light and refreshing. Overall, it's a great lunch! The only negative was that the pork blood was a bit chalkier than usual. read more

I came here because, well, I was hungry. I had to get my emissions done on my car and drop off some stuff to Goodwill so when I saw there was a pho place in the same shopping center, it was a no brainer to try Pho Dai Loi 3. I'm not a foodie by any means but I like tasty food. And to my palette, this was tasty. I'm definitely not a pho connoisseur like some of the other reviewers here but I thought the broth was pretty tasty. I ordered takeout so the only size option for pho was large and it was LARGE for one person. The meat was generous (I got the rounds and the flank) although it was less rounds and more flank and the veggies were also generous. The people who were working there were super nice. I would definitely come here again. If you're coming here and it's your first time, it's in the same shopping center as Goodwill on Pleasant Hill and Cruse Rd. If you're entering the plaza from Cruse, Pho Dai Loi will be a few suites down before you get to Goodwill. read more

The Duluth version of Pho Dail Loi! Dai Loi is and always has been my go-to for pho, at least at the Chamblee location and I'm happy that there's one in the Duluth area now - so convenient! The menu is the same as that in Chamblee - you've got your apps, phos, buns, coms, Vietnamese drinks, etc. I always order the goi cuon whenever I do order an appetizer - can't go wrong with summer rolls! As my main entree, my go to nowadays is the pho with tripe and eye round steak. Parents always get a medium Pho Tai (just eye round beef steak). The soup is always hot and flavorful and probably one of the most if not best bowls of pho I've had. I also regularly order the Bun Bo Hue - lemongrass/spicy soup base with vermicelli noodles. This was a bit too salty last night when I had it, but other than that, the flavor is good. I've had various drinks at the other location but cannot comment on the ones here since I've yet to have any, but I'm sure it's of the same quality. Minus 1 star because some worker in the back cat called at me when I was leaving the restroom - rude and uncomfortable. Other than that, service is relatively good. read more

This is my family's favorite place to eat on a Sunday morning. We normally go here due to the fast service and quality of the food as well. I always get pho as you cannot go wrong here and it normally comes out within 10 minutes. The Vietnamese coffee is is good as well and I highly recommend combining the two. The place is not the cleanest, but they do their best to keep it in tip top shape. read more

My go to place for pho in GA ...Been here several times..usually the morning after a night of clubbing ..(you know..to cure that hangover) Their pho is solid ..but today I had their bun bo hue..cause I just wanted to try a different item on their menu..it's not too bad..but it's sweeter than what I'm used to..and I did taste mam ruoc in there ..which is interesting since it's more associated with bun rieu..this broth is spicy too..which I like..and I think certain people would label it a more "adventurous" menu item..but since I'm viet..this item is just the norm for me...I'll say look pass your preconceived notions if you can and experience the taste...you might not like it..or you'll learn to love it. read more

Pho Dai Loi has the best pho around. Their broth is excellent and their meat is perfect. I have been to this location and the Buford Hwhy location. This one is definitely less busy. I think the broth is actually a little less salty or something here? I usually get the medium bowl for $9 with eye round steak, well done flank, and tendon. The buford location is 50 cents more per bowl I think.They bring out a dish with bean sprouts, basil leaves, and lemon wedge like usual. There's sriracha and hoisin on the side. This location has fish sauce as well has chili oil! Pho Dai Loi is the only place I know that has chili oil on the side. This is mostly why it's my favorite besides the superior flavor. They also serve you some hot tea for free. You go up to the counter to pay when you're done. read more

I chose a spicy soup on the menu after reading a review here on yelp. The young man assured me it was really really spicy. However must hve brought the wrong thing becuse it was the traditional pho broth (sweet ) with a little chili oil in it . I coulda done this myself , not spicy at all. I still added the jalapenos , lemon and more chili. The soup had a sphaghetti noodle (did not like to think i was eating spaghetti in soup) And strange meats : pork hock, coagulated blood (sick!) and other very strange textured items. Soup was hot as in temperature and the ac must not have been on .Nice service but 9$ a medium bowl i've had better . I'm not saying i won't give it another shot but this time it just wasn't that great . read more

Get #28 as a non-pho option. It's vermicelli with pork and shrimp, and it is delicious. It's a bit pricey for me being used to west coast Asian food prices. The total came out to $12 with $2 tip, hence the 4 stars, though the food is 5 stars. The pho will also cost you about the same, which again seems pricey coming from CA. read more

Pho Dai Loi and Pho Bac are my two favorite places to come eat pho and other Vietnamese dishes. They just season the broth very nicely and have a good noodles to broth ratio compared to other pho places. This particular location isn't always crowded so the service is quick and efficient. I ordered the chicken vermicelli and my boyfriend ordered pho with eye round steak, brisket and flank. Both tasted fantastic! read more

Absolutely the best pho in the Atl area. I live 30 minutes away and have at least 3 pho restaurants closer to me; but this one is worth the drive. All other pho just isn't worth it. The fried shrimp rolls and the bbq pork spring rolls are delicious. I go here at least once a week without fail for the last 4 years and I've never once had a bad experience read more

Best in Duluth! A must, anytime but especially when you need a pick me up. I'm a Pho Tai kind of girl and they never disappoint, the steak is always fresh and the soup has the perfect temp and seasoning. To finish the experience, go for the iced coffee! Fast service tasty spring roll. I thought it was fried but it was a little different than I expected, but still good I loved the pho it was really comforting. Seen this on Best of Yelp and decided to try something new out there. Been to other places that serve Pho and this one will be a new go to on my foodie list. Loved the customer service and fast food delivery to the table here. Clean and comfortable spot. Check them out guys definitely a good soup that makes you feel satisfied and happy. Bottom line, if you don't like tripe, don't eat here. I ordered the Pho #9, which was supposed to be eye of round and marbled flank steak. When it was served, there were pieces of tripe clearly visible in it. I called the waitress' attention to it and told her there had been a mistake with my order. She replied "No mistake, all pho have some tripe in it". I gave it the one star I did because they were nice enough not to charge me for that or the egg rolls and drink I had first. read more

One thing I love is that everything comes fully made and all in one pot for you. Unlike other hot pot spots where you have to pick and cook everything yourself, this is quick, easy, and stress-free. If you want something fast, comforting, and consistent this is the spot.

Staff is attentive and helpful. We were consistently checked-in, waters stayed full, orders came out in timely manner. The dining experience went smoothly. The menu is extensive. Although I've only had pho here, the pho broth is flavorful. The portions are generous and pricing is reasonable. It's worth checking out Mama's Pho!

The waiter/hostess was super sweet. They have a tablet where you place the order and they bring the food out, so that was convenient. I ordered the fried egg noodle with grilled chicken and it was so good, I ended up taking a photo halfway through eating lol. It had broccoli, carrots, bok choy stirred in and cucumbers and tomatoes on the side. The portion was really good too. Definitely recommend this place!

I remember thinking how stingy they were with the toppings on the Tangsuyuk, but this time, it was much better. They added more carrots as part of the toppings! Also, the Jjajangmyun tasted much better! THE only thing that could have been improved was the Tangsuyuk sauce...it was just barely sweet, despite its name. The place looked really clean and better managed this time as well. I do feel that this place would feel a bit more festive if they added some overhead music. The noodles were also soft and slightly chewy, the expected texture. Kimchi, radish, and water are free and self serve. Staff was nice and helpful with any questions, greeted us when we came in and left. There's plenty of seating and a self service kiosk with pictures.
