Super clean looking place when I walked in, always refreshing to be greeted when you walk in. Tables were occupied so I planted myself in the corner by the kitchen where the nice sounds of clinging and clanging were enjoyed! My P1 Extra large bowl arrived rapidly and after the first sip of the broth I knew I was in for good things! I can't say enough nice things about this place. I love pho, I really do. I've also had some very bad pho before and this is definitely not among those places. Everyone was super friendly. Restaurant was totally packed and cleaned. I did not feel out of place, or unwelcome like I have before in the past at some Vietnamese restaurants. They didn't treat us out of place at all. The food was 5/5. I did not have a single menu item I disliked. Even the coffee (with condensed milk, brewed into a glass at your table of course) was spectacular. The only two notes I had; the rice is so pricey! I was sort of shocked when I saw everything else is cheaper than a plate of fried rice. Also, I didn't have a spoon at my table which was fine but I did feel a little silly trying to eat rice with chopsticks. I'm sure it was fun to watch me try, at least! Stopped by on a cold morning and tried some egg noodle pho and spring rolls. Pho was perfect balance of meat, noodle herbs and vegetables. Very attentive service and reasonably priced. Definitely would come back!! read more

Just ok. Came to this place during a lunch break while I was working up here. Had a mad craving for some Pho so i hoped on Yelp and searched the open sea. Fortunately this was 4 mins down the road from where i work. It was a no brainer. Came around lunch time and place was empty, other than two other guys, i was the only patron there. Not a good sign. Anyhow, I shrugged it off thought since its Montgomery maybe there isn't a big following. The waitress came, took my order and it came out about 5-10 mins later. I ordered a combination pho. Must say, my initial impression was that the bowl was smaller than where I usually get pho. I dove in. Taste was ok, broth wasn't very hot, nor super tasty. It was ok. That really explains it all. The service was ok too. Maybe because of the language barrier they can't cater to you as well but the service was sub par. Would I recommend? Nah, I'd say skip. I Use to really like coming to this place. So today I decided to order 4 banh mi sandwiches for the family. Went and picked them up. (I live about 20 minutes away) when I got home and we sat down to eat the bread was hard and stale. So much so that between the 4 of us most of the sandwiches went to the dogs. When I phoned to tell them about the product all she said was sorry, we just didn't know. The heck they didn't. I felt like we were taken advantage of because of the situation. They are trying to use up old stuff and we won't know about it until we get home. This is the second time I have had quality issues with Pho Dat. So sad. I won't be going back. read more

Recently refused a vet with his service dog a seat in the restaurant. New management "Americanized" the menu (whatever that means) and the food isn't even up to the level of cheap, mass produced Asian food. Will never eat there again. read more

Delicious Pho and Vietnamese restaurant right on Lake Conroe. Our family ordered two bowls of pho, a vermicelli bowl, and a bahn mi sandwich. The pho was one of the best bowls I've ever had. The meat, in particular, was delicious! We also had the egg rolls and spring rolls as appetizers, both of which were yummy. Food is very good, but small portions. The service is HORRIBLE!! The young gentleman serving me never said Hello or asked me a question. He just stood there waiting for me to give him my order. Never came to check on me. I had to call him over. Never came to give me a refill on my drink. Then when I went to pay, he just said the total. Great Food!! I went for lunch on the 2nd or 3rd day they were open. My expectations were low being a new restaurant, but that changed quickly when I walked in, the restaurant was modern and the tables where granite. My favorite menu item at a Vietnamese restaurant is the Pho Tai. I got the large, it was very good, and could I could not eat it all. I'm looking forward to trying there other menu items. read more

excellent service! from the time you come in the door. they got very busy and every table was full plus take out order and we felt taken care of. they are super helpful if you've never had Vietnamese food. the environment is nice, clean and upbeat. we ordered chicken wings and they were delicious!!!- very salty but we like that. I had chicken pho and he had the brisket pho- we both liked the flavor and the portion options. again the broth is on the saltier side so defiantly taste before adding extras. AMAZING! Anthony was our server and he was one of the best servers we've had. He was super personable and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Now for the food- we had milk & green tea, the house special egg rolls, my husband had the P1(assorted beef pho) and I had the shaken beef tenderloin rice plate. It was hands down the best Vietnamese we have ever had. I have had lots of steak if my life time, and I am not kidding when I tell you it was one of the most tender meats I've ever had. Everything we had was incredible. I suggest you go try it, or don't, because then there will be more for me. It will for sure be a place we visit once a week. read more

The waiters did not know the menu well enough to explain the ingredients to first time Pho eaters. I was disappointed with my beef round soup because it had the smell and taste of anise.
