First couple times I came here, I go the pho to go. While waiting there was a steady steam of to go orders. Last time we came to eat in. Service is OK if it's an olderly but if it's one of the younger gentlemen, they seem to be more attentive. What we've swallowed from here: VERMACELLI PORK: Pork has a good BBQ flavor FLANK AND BRISKET PHO: Even to go, this held up well and my kids liked it. THAI TEA: A bit watered down. HOT AND SOUR SOUP: This soup had good flavor... and it wasn't slimey like how some restaurants serve it, which I don't really care for. I like how they serve it here. SESAME CHICKEN: This is a great dish to order. Crispy on the outside and the sauce isn't too much. Great dish. MONGOLIAN BEEF: Good flavor on this dish too. Even our 2 year old liked it. SWEET AND SOUR PORK: Cripy morsels of pork with fresh veggies. Like dish too. So far, we liked all the dishes we had here. We like that there is a variety of both pho and chinese dishes so if the family is indecisive on which route to take, we can come here and have both. read more

This is one of our go-to places for takeout in Arvada. Our favorite pho place by far. I love their veggie broth pho, and am assured the regular pho broth is amazing also. Mediocre at best. We got a pretty large order to go. Having tried Sesame Chicken at several places I thought theirs was just okay and nothing to write home about. The chicken was chewy and not well prepared. The dumpling were subpar in my opinion as well. The restaurant was dead and had a funny smell when inside. Very good Pho! Horrible service. Rude servers. The food was hot and came out very quickly. When I paid for our food, before we even left our server counted her tip and then huffed and walked away. I have been a server before and I would never do that! A tip is earned. If our waitress wasn't so rude she would have gotten a better tip and I normally tip very well. I ordered steamed veggies with two side orders of grilled beef and only received one when it was delivered. When I called the restaurant to tell them, they tried to tell me that they had included both orders in the one container, but this is the same exact amount that I had received in the past when I had ordered only one side order of the beef. Weighs 3.2 oz, which is only one serving as far as I'm concerned. If they want to pass this off as two orders they should put on their menu that a side of meat is only 1.5oz (which it has never been in the past). read more

Excellent Vietnamese food! We got takeout and it was ready fast and was delicious! We had combo drunken noodles which were pretty good, quality noodles and spice. The grilled shrimp vermicelli noodle bowl was so so good! Excellent flavor of the grilled shrimp and pickled veggies. Will definitely get it again! Can't wait to try the pho! Trusty local Arvada Pho shop. It's not the top pho place I've been to but it's the best in the neighborhood. They even deliver pho! Sounds like a risky idea but it shows up piping hot and with all the associated accoutrements - sprouts, mint, peppers, hosin, hot sauce, etc etc. Their traditional Chinese food is also really tasty. I'm so glad this place is in the neighborhood. I'd like to leave a special shout out to their wonton soup. Those wontons taste thick and fresh. Love it! I'll definitely continue to return. read more

It doesn't look like much, but don't let the looks fool you. The food is top notch (and you're probably going to want to order takeout or delivery, anyway). Pho Dong Huong is my go-to for those nights when I just don't want to cook - or even leave the house. Ok so I'm one of those yelpers who are like YES 5 star or zero! You get zero stars. I was driving through Denver and craving pho so I grabbed some yelp and YES! This place is bomb! No it's not a 5 start white cloth like the butthead sitting behind me was expecting. But the table was clean, needs a bit of an update in a few years but it was hella quiet and the food was AMAZING If you haven't had their spring rolls YOU MUST! They make them the yummy way with mint and OH EM GEE! They're some of the best you'll have! The noodles were still warm which tells me he rolled them when I ordered - not pre prepared!
