This is hands-down, the best American Chinese I found in Denver. My family and I have given up ordering out Chinese and just make it at home and we wait until we go to Chicago to visit family to do American Chinese. The prices were reasonable. The portions were huge and the food was really good and the egg foo young was surprisingly tasty. Even my egg adverse five-year-old couldn't get enough of it. We really enjoyed the cashew chicken and the egg rolls. The service was also outstanding very very friendly staff and helpful too. We will definitely be back.

When we walked up it kind of looked like a hole in the wall and we were excited ti try the food! The staff was very friendly and kept a close eye on us (in the best way) to perfectly time our soup, dumplings and main course! The restaurant was very clean! Dumplings are AMAZING... if you get nothing else get these and crispy! You will not regret. The sizzling rice soup was good too and had more veggies in it than we are used to, it was pretty hearty! The rice was rice and I'm not sure I would get the fried rice again, seemed like it just had soy sauce added. The Kung Pao chicken was very good as was the beef. We will definitely stop back by when in the area!

    king Kung Pao Tofu

Ordered the king pao tofu and requested it be extra spicy. The tofu was cooked well -great chewiness- however the meal overall was bland and there were too many peanuts and celery pieces. For $20 (with tip) it wasn't worth it. I'll never be coming back here and I would recommend people go to a different restaurant if they're looking for chinese cuisine. Hong Kong Station is incredible.

Burnt egg rolls I paid extra for

Never again a total disappointment Not a good quality of food nor the costumer service burnt egg rolls extra items added to my order didn't like anything

Great food and Good prices! Service was on top of it during lunch rush. Unassuming strip mall location. Will be back to try the fried dumplings and salt and pepper wings.

Historic local Chinese restaurant atmosphere with plenty of tables. Very good Chinese food with good portions. I recommend dine-in as the restaurant has a pretty historic vibe and fried dishes are better fresh and crispy served on plate.

Good, SPICY Chinese food, the way it should be! Soup was decent as well. Price seems about average for the area.

I do not know for sure, but it is very likely. Still, I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants all over the country, (and in other countries, too), and this one remains my favorite.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. Then the string beans and a new dish - sauerkraut fish filet. The sauerkraut fish filet reminded me of the Vietnamese catfish soup but no sweetness added. Very good dish and will def order again. Also love that they have quality rice here.

Decided to come here because I was craving Chinese food and heard good things about this place…read more Figured I'd give it a try. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

I haven't been very impressed with Chinese food in Denver, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were blown awayyyy!! We got several things to share, and I loved it all! The chicken shrimp wontons were so savory & a little bit spicy- the sauce was perfect. We next split the asparagus and green beans, which was the dish I was least excited about, but I'm pretty sure it ended up being my favorite. Crunchy, fresh, and a little spicy- delicious! Next we had the smoked wagyu brisket lo mein- wowwww this was so good. The smokiness wasn't overpowering, and once again the sauce was the best part. Noodles cooked to perfection. We ended with the Chong Qing chicken- this dish wasn't really up my alley, but my husband loved it! Salty & crunchy with sichuan peppers! Our server was really helpful & suggested all these dishes to us. To top it off, service was speedy! We were out of there in an hour with full happy bellies :)

I loved the high fashion cocktail! Interesting tea flavors, well-balanced, and not too sweet. And I'm sad it's going away. The food was also quite delicious. The dried scallop and bacon fried rice was game-changing! I'd have never thought to put those two things in fried rice, but it's so delicious! And the bacon just takes it up a whole other level. The short rib noodles were also yummy. I thought the cold chicken dish was interesting, like Taiwanese cold noodles but without the noodles. The fried Chinese eggplant was also a highlight. Sad this place has to close :(

I liked them all and my husband loved the soup. He said he wouldn't get the dumplings again but I think it's just because we were recently spoiled with dumpling flavors in NYC and these were good but not amazing. For lunch I got the chicken fried rice and added tomatoes. Originally they said they did not add tomatoes but the server asked the chef and he said he could. I really appreciate it, I know most places don't add tomatoes to the fried rice but I love it. The serving was huge. I have enough left over for lunch and dinner tomorrow. My father-in-law got the chicken teriyaki and it looked beautiful. He said he hasn't had this dish in decades and loved it. The broccoli looked beautiful and green, not overcooked at all. His dish was also big enough that he has leftovers for tomorrow. My husband got the Beef Chao Fan. He was craving this when we were in NYC and it wasn't on the menu where he went, so he was so glad they have it on the menu. He loved it. He said the flavor was amazing. He also had enough to bring home for dinner tonight. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach. We will be back!
