came here on one of the hottest days of the week because my son and I were not feeling well. thankfully we were in the area and really wanted pho. we came in and the lady behind the counter told us to sit anywhere. then I needed a high chair and again, she gestured to where they were. so I realized by now it's self service lol I went up to the counter to order and she gave me my waters for the table which I brought back. I cleaned up any mess my children made while we ate too. the only thing they bring to your table is the food. the pho soup felt so good with the summer cold. it's not the best pho, but damn, was it good when I needed it. my kids are all their food and enjoyed their noodle soup! but don't expect a full service restaurant. read more

I usually never leave reviews but this was so good i had to share. Im vietnamese and usually when i go to pho places im not expecting much. This place impressed me a lot, the pho broth is so rich you can eat it alone with no hoison or siracha. The server was quick to greet,seat, and out food was out within minutes. Some of the best pho in the area for sure. Have been here several times and it never disappoints. I always go with #19 white chicken meat Pho. Portions are good (small or large), server fresh and hot. The Spring Rolls with peanut sauce are incredible. Service is fine, friendly. Only (kinda) negative is how quiet it can be, maybe pipe in some music or something, a few folks were scared to talk because you could hear everything anyone else was saying. read more

So everywhere I looked before taking the drive to Pho Factory said they closed at 9 pm. I arrived at 8:47 to the open sign still lit and the door still unlocked and with what in my opinion was also ample time to put beef and broth in a cup and send out the door but was told very sternly by a gentleman wiping down the tables that they were closed as he rushed me out and locked the door behind me. This was one of my favorites but I will be searching for another because I feel that since it was not yet officially closing time and the door was unlocked and sign still on it should have been honored because it was their mistake but what do I know. read more

Returned to this place after the name changed from The Pho to Pho Factory. The place seemed cleaner. Menu appeared to be the same with the same list of Pho items. I ordered my usual (now renumbered to #16). My order came out with a short wait after ordering. I had ordered a large bowl. My order came in a smaller bowl than what used to be there. Broth was okay. But I was disappointed in the size of their large bowl. Wait staff took a while to get my drink refilled and didn't check to see if I needed anything after my food came out. When paying my bill, they don't bring to your table but ask you to come to the register to pay. Disappointed on my return visit. Although it is in walking distance from my home, I'll be returning to my favorite Pho place in One Loudoun (3 miles away). read more

My family's favorite pho place is Pho Royal in Sterling; Pho Factory was recommended to us since they have the same owner. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and I was so happy they actually had it (most Vietnamese places only serve it on select days since it's not as popular as pho). They did such a fantastic job with the flavors, cuts, and portions; I was very pleased. This is officially another family favorite, and I can't wait to come back soon! read more

We wanted to try a different Pho restuarant and this was one of many others closest to our location, the others we already tried and were very good and wanted to try something new. Once we got to Ashburn Village Centre, we could not find it as we drove twice looking at all the stores. So we called and told them that we were nearby but couldn't find the location. The person that answered the phone was very agitated in giving directions and because she had such a thick accent, we could barely understand--then she just hung up! We tried and went to the side of the building and found them. First impressions should always tell that experience would not go well. There was nobody at the restuarant, but dirty dishes on several tables. After waiting a few minutes, somebody came out from the kitchen and seated us. We then mentioned that we were the ones that called for directions but the person that answered the call got very agitated and hung up on us. The server said that was the manager since there were only two of them in the restuarant and she does not answer the phones. We proceeded in ordering our usual that we normally order from every Pho restuarant. It also took awhile to get our water, even though there were still nobody at the restaurant. When we got our order, both the fried spring rolls and Pho soup were bland and did not taste fresh, but rather old and re-heated. The service was far less than stellar since we had to keep asking for water refills. The server keeps disappearing in the kitchen. To make a long story short, we should have not searched so hard to find this restaurant and should have walked out when we saw nobody at the restaurant but just dirty dishes on the tables. Overall, if I can rate this negative stars, I would. Essentially, one and done and never coming back. read more

I always compare Pho places to my favorite, Pho Dulles 75 in Herndon (same owner as the now closed Pho Reston 75) and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Pho Factory. I did not care for the place under the old name, but decided to come back really just out of convenience since I was working from home today. I started with an order of the fresh spring rolls and they were EXCELLENT! Better than my beloved Pho Dulles 75's. They were larger, with more flavor, and a warm center that made them taste great. The dipping sauce was great, too. I know it had plum sauce in it, but not sure what else. So far, we're off to a great start. First, I should say I didn't specify whether I wanted a large or small bowl, and I believe what I got was a large, and my days of finishing those are behind me, but I almost finished this one! I ordered a number 1 with raw beef as I do at every Pho place (should I always capitalize the word Pho? Probably not, but it feels right. Anyway...) and I was pleased that the soup was served with the raw beef on the side- no other place I've been to has done that, and I've been to them all over the world. This allowed me to put the beef in the soup as I was eating and it cooked the beef perfectly for me. The bowl came with plenty of sprouts, peppers, basil, etc, everything you need to dress up your bowl. Believe it or not, I just go native and eat it the way it comes. The only point taken off is the broth was a little light, not much of that beef base that I prefer, but still had a very good taste. So, in the race against Pho Dulles 75, I give PD75 a slight edge in the soup category, but PF wins the spring roll category. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and the service was fine- seems like only two people were working, one cooking and the other doing everything else so patience is probably preferred. Pho Factory really hits the spot especially on a gloomy rainy cool day. Their pho broth is pleasantly sweeter in taste than other places but it's definitely authentic. I love getting the 13. Phó Tái Chin Nam Gau Gän Sách. (Pho With Thinly Sliced Eye Round Steak, Well Done Brisket, Flank, Slightly Fatty Brisket, Soft Tendon And Tripe.) This one has all the fixin'! Young male employee was intentionally rude to me and my mother for no reason and even showed his emotions by trying to SNEAK extra charges in our bill!! When discussing the charges, he did not even want to adhere to the store's 5% discount for using cash!! And to top it off when leaving, we told the employee and manager that we would not return to their restaurant and they replied saying that they do not need customers! Yummy Pho! Was looking for some Pho with the changing weather, tried out this new location. They have changed names to the Pho Factory, one of three locations. I went in and greeted and seated immediately. I was there early Friday around 4pm, a few folks eating and some takeout while I was there. Very prompt service with water and a menu. The seating is tables with chairs, either in groups of 4 seats or 2 seats, could easily do a larger group or many smaller tables. They take your order at your table and you walk up to a bar at the back to pay when you are ready. I was looking for a no noodle option and requested the pho special combination small bowl with a little extra tendon and tripe. It came out perfect! Had come cut up meatballs, lots of other meats, with the side dish of bean sprouts and basil and hot peppers with lime. Other places I have requested no noodles I got pretty skimpy meat, this one came through as requested. The peppers were hot, but not blistering, ate them all plus some of the hot sauce from the table. They brought out a spoon and fork with the meal and there were chopsticks at the tables. I was relaxing after the soup and they refilled my water, no pressure to move etc. There was a large screen tv on the wall by the door as you come in, not too loud, I wasn't seated facing it and didn't notice it until I was leaving. The prices are a little higher because they charge a little extra for takeout, and in addition they raised their prices by 10% (there was a sign posted at the register). I called in my order and went to pick up about 10 minutes later- I was a little surprised to be paying $30 for two large bowls of pho (Based on the menu pictures on Yelp I thought it would be maybe $25 total)! I asked for the receipt but it wasn't detailed and it was just the credit card slip. Aside from that, the pho here is legit. I haven't tried all the pho places in Ashburn, but I have tried two others and this is the BEST place for pho by far. Would definitely come back here the next time I want my pho fix and don't feel like going for a drive. This is our second time here, and we haven't tried anything else except the pho. But I did hear that their bun bo hue (spicy soup) is pretty good and I'm excited to try that whenever I'm in the mood for it! read more
