I love everything about this place. I noticed the Honeypig neighbor but o wanted something small and new! Thanks to Yelp reviews, we ventured out to try this place. It's so cute inside. The staff is friendly. The Tofu was perfectly fried, just like Japanese style tofu. The katsu was also lightly fried and so delicious. The portion was big enough to share. The highlight of my meal was the Taro "snow" with brown sugar bubbles and 50% sugar. It was thick and tasty. I love the container it was in, so sturdy. We will definitely come back to this cute little shop.

This retsaurant recently opened up, somewhere in the heart of Ashburn! They specialize in various teas and ramen. There are a lot of items I would love to try, but for today, I stuck with the chicken katsu rice bowl ($12.95). They have pictures for the specialty items on their web site, whcih makes it helpful when ordering. They gave a generous portion of chicken and rice but very little sauce. There wasn't much interaction with the staff since we ordered take away at the kiosk.

Seriously delicious ramen! I got takeout and they packaged it well and didn't skimp on broth like some places do when you takeout. They filled the broth too the brim and the toppings were amazing! The taro milk tea was good too. Service was quick and the sit down area is nicely decorated and quiet so perfect for a lunch or a place to chill while studying or reading. The only downside I can say is that it is kind of pricey but it's still worth checking out!

FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 We went to Bubblebee x Ramen after reading an article about their opening. We learned that this was their opening week so be aware that they are still working out the kinks. The ambiance was so cute! They have a light up sign that says "love to bee yours" with cozy seating. Service was very good and prompt. I think the owner was there as he asked how everything was when we were leaving. You have a choice of ordering from a big touchscreen kiosk or the traditional way with the cashier. We chose to use the kiosk, which was pretty seamless. They have pictures of the items as well. I think it would be helpful if it also had descriptions for what type of tea was in each drink. I typically avoid jasmine tea in bubble tea as it can be a bit flowery. I also would like a description for the food and if you could have substitutions for sides. I am sure this will come in due time. I ordered the chicken katsu rice bowl with the mango lemon fruit tea (50%) with mango popping bubble. My husband got the beef rice teriyaki bowl with the strawberry sparkling tea. *Note - they also have coffee and ice water, but no sodas or lemonade - it might be helpful to have some bottles of other drinks to sell, especially for to go orders FOOD/DRINK: -chicken katsu rice bowl - chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned well, came with dipping sauce and rice -mango lemon fruit tea - great mango flavor but had a bit of a floral aftertaste -beef teriyaki rice bowl - tender beef with a yummy teriyaki sauce on it, came with salad and rice -strawberry sparkling tea - it's kind of like their version of an Italian soda - fresh strawberry and lime flavor, slight floral aftertaste Welcome to Ashburn! I would definitely come here again!!

The ramen and katsu chicken were AMAZING!!! YUM!! We ordered via DoorDash, but our order arrived VERY fresh and very warm! I ordered the Build Your Own Ramen with the curly ramen noodles, egg, shoyu broth, chashu, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts. My friend ordered the chicken katsu rice bowl. Both were simply delicious and AMAZING!!! YUMMY for our tummies!! We will most definitely order from here again!!

If you're looking for a no-frills ramen and boba spot, this is the place to be! Bubblebee x Ramen is in the same shopping center as Honey Pig in Ashburn, so it can also be a great spot to stop in for bubble tea/ boba post-KBBQ eats. For me and my friend, we chose to get lunch here (we were craving ramen) along with ordering some unique bubble teas. I ordered a personal ramen with the black garlic tonkotsu, along with some agedashi tofu + blueberry lychee tea. Everything came out fairly quickly, and all the food tasted super clean + refreshing. I enjoyed the amounts of the black garlic in the broth, and the chashu was fairly hearty. My friend enjoyed her ramen as well, and she ordered the green apple yogurt tea and she enjoyed that. The staff here were super nice and also let us know their recommendations, and I just really love the decorations here. I like that they have a lot of offerings on the menu for drinks and bites to eat, so definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Customer service is great. Well kept clean even the bathrooms. Staff are friendly and informative about the menu. The food we had was great, hot, and fresh. The broth is very flavorful and the heat is not over powering the flavors. Bonds are plenty and the vegetables are fresh.

    Tofu udon and taro boba

I traveled to the area for work and was craving boba. The place I tried the day before was just meh so I'm extremely happy I found this place. I'm not an expert but I do enjoy my boba frequently. I ordered the taro half sugar and it was so good! Not too sweet, great taro flavor, and the pearls were soft and chewy (not hard like some places). I also ordered the udon with fried tofu and spicy miso. SO. GOOD. The portion was so much I couldn't finish it all and got to take some left overs to enjoy later. Service was quick and super friendly. As I was eating, I overheard other customers ask for random things like an extra side of this sauce or that... and workers were so accommodating. Thank you guys for being so kind! I will defiantly be back.

I was sad that Tsaocaa closed down but was happy that another cute boba shop took its place. I'm glad they opened so quickly. The interior design is very nice and well decorated. I love that they offer golden boba. I got the BubbleBee Milk Tea that is an Earl Grey Milk Tea with golden boba, brown sugar boba, and egg pudding and my boyfriend got a Taro Milk Tea with Boba and Lychee Jelly. My drink only came with golden boba but the second time I got it, it came with all the toppings. The drinks were very good and I can't wait to try more from the menu including the ramen.

Our waiter did a great job presenting our drinks and pouring the matcha lemonade. He made thoughtful recommendations and was very funny too. The food also was high quality and moderately priced. The miso eggplant was a nice sized appetizer for sharing and was seasoned nicely. The chicken ramen was also the perfect amount of spicy, had a good ratio of noodles to broth to vegetables, and was presented well. The dishes paired well with the matcha lemonade, which was aesthetically presented, had a subtle sweet lychee flavor, and was perfectly balanced. I've been to other Jinya's and this experience matched the quality and service of the other times. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're craving ramen!

A lot of the NoVA hibachi spots aren't open for lunch on the weekends. We chose Sakura Grill because it was one of the few that were. We came for a Sunday lunch and it was nearly empty. Service was pleasant, but the hibachi chef did the bare minimum. We started with a couple appetizers - the crab rangoons, takoyaki, and an eel roll. All were satisfactory and brought out quickly, but noticeably absent from the takoyaki were the bonito flakes. I will commend the restaurant for being mindful of dietary restrictions. We had someone in our party who requested no onions in their hibachi, and the chef was able to accommodate without any issues. We also had someone who ordered the vegetable hibachi, and the staff asked whether that diner was a vegetarian and advised that the hibachi meals came with shrimp. Another plus was that they had a sink in the dining area to wash your hands. As for the hibachi presentation, the chef lit the grill on fire, spun the spatulas around at the intro, tossed the egg up and down a few times, did the onion volcano (though poorly executed), and attempted to throw a piece of zucchini into our mouths. There was an option for a sake shot from a squeeze bottle, but we all declined. The chef relied on a few gimmicks - a silly squirt bottle and a clucking rubber chicken. He didn't have a lot of showmanship or pizazz or any wow factor. The chef wasn't very engaging - he might as well have cooked the food in the back kitchen. This was my brother-in-law's first time at a hibachi restaurant, but the lack of razzle-dazzle in the cooking did not impress and left something to be desired. I ordered the filet mignon hibachi. Each hibachi meal comes with a small house salad and hibachi soup (mushroom based broth with fried onions). You can also swap out for the miso soup, if you like. The filet mignon was nice and tender. I could've done with more flavor, but I guess that's what the dipping sauces are for. One of my favorite things about going to a hibachi place is the fried rice. This fried rice was average, and the veggies were also average... everything was average. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were kind enough to sing happy birthday twice - once from the hibachi chef with the onion volcano and once from the waitstaff with a festive drum and tambourine. I will credit the waitstaff for providing effective service, but the food and hibachi experience were pretty mid overall.

From the moment we walked in, Jackie made us feel incredibly welcome. His genuine hospitality made it feel less like dining at a restaurant and more like being invited over for a traditional, home-cooked Korean meal. Having traveled and dined in Seoul many times, I really appreciated how authentic everything tasted. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of the bold flavors that I expect in Korean cuisine. One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants water down Tteok Bokki until it tastes like sweetened tomato paste. Gogi Go Go absolutely nailed it. The spice profile had the right amount of heat, and the rice cakes had the perfect chewy texture. The Pajeon was loaded with fresh vegetables and beautifully cooked, with a crisp exterior and tender center. The BBQ bowls have generous portions and the Bul Dak sauce was packed with flavor. Their Kimchi was delicious as well and tasted very fresh. A surprise of the night was the soy garlic wings. Since Gogi Go Go doesn't really market themselves as a Korean fried chicken restaurant, we ordered this with fairly low expectations. I definitely underestimated them. They arrived piping hot, perfectly crispy, generously coated in sauce without becoming soggy, and were well sized. They honestly rival, and in fact surpass, some of the dedicated Korean fried chicken spots we've seen come and go in the area. As someone who's a long time Ashburn resident, I remember when there were very few authentic Korean restaurants nearby, and to experience a good one meant driving to Fairfax or Centreville. It's exciting to see that changing in recent years, and Gogi Go Go is a fantastic addition. Their authentic, home-style dishes really hit the mark. There's lots of variety in the menu and you're sure to find something you'll love. The atmosphere is casual enough for an everyday meal (we had just come from the gym), yet the level of hospitality makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer (that quality can be hard to find and truly makes this place special). Highly recommend giving this locally owned (not a chain) restaurant a try. We'll definitely be back!

Service was great. The staff here is friendly and efficient. Our server checked on us more than once during our meal. To drink, my husband ordered a Kirin Light beer while I ordered a glass of plum wine. Some Japanese places fill the glass too high, but here, the portion size was reasonable. I ordered "the poke bowl". I chose salmon for my fish. This bowl consists of "Sushi-grade fish topped with vegetables, mixed with poke sauce over a choice of mixed greens or rice". I chose the rice. Before coming here, I looked up "poke sauce." I found a website called "pokebowlny.com." This is the description they gave: "traditional poke sauce blends soy sauce, sesame oil, and often rice vinegar, along with aromatics like garlic and ginger. This classic combination makes the fish taste fresher, the vegetables more vibrant, and the rice more flavorful." The vegetables in the bowl were kernel corn, seaweed salad, and cucumbers. I really enjoyed having this meal! All the flavors worked well together. I look forward to having it again. Along with the poke bowl, a bowl of miso soup is included. That, too, was quite good, and it came to the table quite warm. My husband ordered "Tuna Don," which consists of "fresh tuna sashimi over rice & vegetables. His entrée came with both miso soup and a small side salad. The bowl had a big slice of radish, some seaweed salad, and the usual shredded daikon. The wasabi was really spicy - he could feel it in his nose and sinus cavity - it'll take your head off. The generous portion of tuna was large with thicker slices than he'd ever seen before.
