While traveling through the countryside we stopped by Pho Fusion and were surprised not only to find a Vietnamese restaurant out in Iowa, but one that was pretty good. The pho was the pretty good dish, a bit above average in taste, but needed fish sauce to bring out more flavor from the bowl. They were generous on the meat and included a rib which was a nice touch. The Bun Bo, however, was a bit off. Very heavy on the sugar, maybe to desire of the locals, but it took away from the actual taste. The bowl needed two small cups of fish sauce to try and bring down the sweetness, and make it taste more traditional. Overall, for being out in the country, the locals are lucky to have this restaurant. Inside is also very clean and the service was fast and smooth with a very responsive server checking in often. read more

Not too bad but I've been spoiled by really good pho. The brisket had a slight freezer burn taste overall not too bad. The lunch special $12 for a bowl and a side is pretty darn reasonable. It was $25 for the pho dac biet which is insane considering I've got the same for $16. If you like pho, I can recommend trying this place. read more

Needed a break from the typical brewpub and American food on our roadtrip so we stopped at this place near our hotel. This was one of the better decorated Asian restaurants we have dined in - we were wondering what it had been in a previous life. I digress... The staff and server were super friendly and kept things moving. I opted for the General Tso's Chicken which was good but really lacked any spice despite the "hot pepper" symbol next to it on the menu. This is my go to item so I know my General. My wife got a Vietnamese noodle dish and asked to sub chicken for the pork but the server said that was a different but similar dish without the egg rolls and shrimp which she wanted. While walking down this strip of eateries and pubs my wife and me stopped in here around 6pm and it was not busy at all. We sat at the bar which is a giant slab of some kinda marble which was nice because it was really hot outside and that bar top was ice cold and felt great! The interior is pretty serene and tame to kinda chill you out. My wife ordered up a Lycheetini and i had a saigon mule. Both were quite good and refreshing. If you know lychee alot of places do not have it because it is a very different flavor. We also ordered up some fried calamari and fried tofu. The tofu was pretty good and not something i usually get. It had a nice little crust on the outside and molten lava on the inside haha! so be careful. The calimari was good but nothing special but if it is made properly its still a pleasing expierence. We did not get into getting full meals so i cannot go into the whole fusion expierence but i do proudly have vietnamese within my family circle. Either way i will certinally come back again to try something new when i can. read more

Now... big statement..The food might be the best Asian food in all of the quad cities. We ordered egg rolls and dumplings for appetizers and they were both amazing- way above average. I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant for the first time and it is wonderful! Staff is very friendly. The food is amazing! My daughter and I went for lunch. They have a very nice lunch menu. We enjoyed the fresh tasting Spring Rolls and for our main entrees, we each tried a different curry. Very flavorful and filling. They also offer for lunch a soup and an egg roll. We very fortunate to find such a good restaurant right next to our hotel. We sat outdoors on a beautiful night at excellent service, nice class of and very good food. We ordered deep fried pork belly fried rice, which had an excellent flavor I've never had before and fried rice. The pork belly I felt like had been reheated/refried. We also had the chicken with the rice noodles and greens , peanuts, etc., with fish sauce that was excellent. Really nice ambience indoors but we sat outdoors. This would've been five star no question if the two meets would have been more freshly cooked. The service was super friendly, quick, & they checked up on us a good amount of times. Even when they got busy, they still had a smile on their face & got what we wanted at such a quick pace. The food was amazing. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but I was keeping an open mind as it's a local business. But it was worth every penny. The food is a blend of Vietnamese, and Thai. The soups were wonderful (Tom Ka) and just a little spicy (nicely so). Highly recommend the Massaman Curry. Portions are plenty.
