The Chicken Pho was so full of flavor! The Beef Curry was FULL of veggies and funky (in a good way) beef. The crab Rangoon was too mushy and over stuffed. I wanted more crunch. No one came back to our table after we were served. We didn't know how to pay. It was fine. Maybe I should try the bahn mi. It would be nice if they clean up some of the clutter on the floors.

No frills Vietnamese place in Quad Cities. The space was bigger than I expected. Portion size was a bit smaller than I expected (at least for the bahn mi) but still tasted great nonetheless.

Having the best pho of my life while visiting my parents in Iowa was NOT on my 2024 bingo card. California Pho hit it out of the park today over lunch. Located in a shopping center off of west Kimberly, California Pho was top tier. We shared coconut shrimp, egg rolls and steamed dumplings for starters and various pho dishes, fried rice, Mongolian beef and of course a banh mi with grilled pork. 10/10 delicious and freshly prepared. My mom actually got the referral while in the nail salon (who I believe the family owns as well). Staff was very friendly and would 100% recommend this Vietnamese family owned restaurant. I may even sneak back over before I leave to try the duck special. Ha Definitely a must try!!!

Ate here for the first time with my coworkers. I didn't think I would find a Vietnamese restaurant anywhere in this cornfield infested town lol. It took us 35mins just to get to this place from my hotel. Anyways, we ordered the egg rolls, summer rolls, combination pho (flavorful and a good amount of meats), Hué style beef noodle soup (wasn't that great and it was oily), Vietnamese crepes (delicious), Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, stir fried shrimp lemongrass chili (wasn't that great), steamed dumplings (didn't look and tasted fresh), and seafood pho (pretty delicious and packed with seafood and quail eggs). Overall, if I'm desperately craving for some pho while I'm on this work trip, then I'll come back. The food back home in Hawaii is what I'm used to. There's something slightly different tasting in each of these dishes. The staff are fast and friendly. The restaurant is huge and have like 20+ tables. The parking lot is pretty large too.

Healthy and warm pho. Being a Californian finding this restaurant makes me think of my home. Great for families. Vegetarian food a plus.

Two little ladies from the K nail salon recommended this place to my husband and while while they were doing our services. reluctantly I decided to be a god sport and give it a try. I am soooooo happy that I did because yo, This pho and Bahn mi was the absolute best I have ever had. The crab Rangoons were good... very small but tasty. The sandwich wasn't dry it had this amazing butter garlic sauce, chili sauce , crisp veggies and the grilled pork was soooooooo juicy and flavorful. The bread wasn't too hard it was toasted perfectly. For my Pho, I got the small bowl which should've been labeled a large size lol. The broth was tasty by itself it didn't need anything! It wasn't super salty it had a great beefy flavor without it being greasy. All the veggies were fresh! And the Thai basil was vibrant and green. Unlike a lot of places where it's brown and wilted from being old. Sad to say, wasn't a fan of the Thai tea. It didn't have the warm spices flavor for me. It tasted sort of like an orange colored strawberry milk. It wasn't watered down by the ice thank goodness. But it was alil too sweet for my liking. The upside the tapioca balls weren't overwhelming. Another downside All in all I will be back for more...

We were in the area from our of town, looking for some Thai food for lunch. The service was amazing, our server made sure to ask the right questions to make sure we were happy with what we were getting and made recommendations. The food was also very good, everyone was happy with their food, even though it was a little different than what we're used to (a side of broccoli with our pad thai, for example) but no harm- the broccoli was good and good for us!! The kids asked if we ever come this way again that we stop by, and we definitely will!!

What a surprise to find an elegant to Vietnamese restaurant next-door to my hotel. I'm here for…read morethree nights, thank you and after tonight I'll definitely try this place again and try other fare. This is not your traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Restaurants been here for 35 years and have structured their menu to American clientele. The pho ga had a much richer, less subtle broth and it had wontons added. Not only was it not traditional, it was absolutely an unexpected delectable version of a classic chicken soup. The menu reads more like a Vietnamese/Chinese fusion. I can't wait to try more dishes over the next couple days. This part of the state is well known for great beef and a couple local diners tell me the beef here is as good as any steakhouse around. Excellent service, tasty unusual cuisine, excellent beer and wine list, I'll be back. Back Thursday night and tried the special recommended spicy chicken and vegetable stir fry. Perfectly prepared and tasty. Onions well cooked, Al dente broccoli complemented the moist sliced chicken breast. Sauce was sweet and spicy.

Three of us stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. We got right in and ordered a bottle of wine…read morefrom their good wine list. We sipped on that and got in our food orders. We started with the Beef Rolls. Fantastic! Tasty, tender, and a great starter. It did take about 30 minutes to get our appetizer, and then another 30+ minutes to get our food delivered. For dinner, I got the Hot and Spicy Beef. It was very good, and had a good kick of spice, but still great flavor. Another in our group got the Ambassador Beef. It was also very good (not spicy), with fresh flavors. The other diner got Vung Tau Cashew Shrimp; also very tasty, with a blast of fresh flavors. While we weren't in a hurry, service was very slow, and we even tracked down the owner to pay our bill at the end of the night and we were about the last ones there. Definitely reccomend the food, but maybe carry out is a better option, or maybe we just hit them on an uneven night for service.
