I ordered takeout and I wish I had remembered to take a picture when I got home. I usually love veggie pho!!However, this had way too many carrots it was a crazy amount as well as they were like those ziggly cut ones you can buy prepackaged at the grocery store -super hard and dry. And then there were literally only 2 broccolis in my entire veggie pho! I would have also preferred basil and cilantro, not just basil on the side. Needless to say, I would try other things on the menu possibly in the future but I will not be going here for pho again. I did appreciate and like that they willingly get reviewed by the food and health department and posted their "A rating" on their Yelp page. No one likes to give low ratings, but I am only doing what I do best: letting the people know!!! As always, my reviews reflect MY personal experience, so don't come at me if you weren't with me. This place obviously has rave reviews, so naturally I was excited to finally try it out on a chilly night. My friend who stayed with me for a few days had also been wanting pho, so we opted to come here. I always pass this place on my way home from work so it was our chance to try it out. We walked in to a packed dining room. Almost all of the tables were occupied and everyone looked as though they were already enJOYing their meals. We were seated immediately and were given some ice water. We looked over the extensive menu and after a few minutes, put them down to signal that we were ready to order. Idk about you, but whenever I go to an Asian restaurant, the employees are usually super quick to come and ask if you're ready to order. Not the case here. We waited about 5 minutes and then tried to flag someone down, but to no avail. Idk how much time passed before we were finally able to signal to one of the servers that we were ready. She came over and my friend told her we were ready to order. She said something like, "oh okay, I'm sorry but I have to help the other customers who were here before you." Ummmmm... from the looks of it, everyone seemed fine and they were already eating. Idk exactly what she meant when she said she "had to help" them?! I mean, okay, whatevs. We continued to wait a few more minutes before we were over it. I looked up another spot on my trusty Yelp app and told my friend, "let's bounce." And bounce we did. We got up, and walked right out. No one tried to stop us, either. It seemed like maybe they were short staffed, but none of the other employees even made an attempt to take our order, which would have taken less than 60 seconds. Yeahhhh... so, we really wanted to try this spot, but unfortunately, it was an epic fail. I don't think I'll be coming back. Sorry, boo. Hope you have better luck when you go! This is still one of the better Vietnamese restaurants. My favorite is still the garlic fish sauce chicken and fried rice which keeps me coming back. Their pho is also very good and reasonably priced in comparison to others. The service is usually decent but on our last visit I asked for a few things but they keep forgetting to bring it. I had to get up to go get it myself. I also don't like that they charge extra for using card. The booths aren't very comfortable because they slide and the table itself is too small. I really do wish they had more options on the menu but it's pretty limited. Overall food is very delicious so I highly recommend. read more

Service was ok/decent. It wasn't busy for lunch on a weekday, were seated immediately. Our orders were taken and served in a timely matter. We had to flag our server down for the check. Found this place because I was craving for pho. And I gotta say their pho was good! The portion was big and the broth was rich! Came here a second time with some friends and we decided to order something different. I would say the scallops we ordered were just ok - it was tough and fishy. Even though they used a lot of ingredients on top, still, the taste was strong. We also ordered a few more street food dishes, which were all delicious. I think this place is overall good except seafood. We also saw a lot of people ordering hotpot, which was what they were famous for. Would love to give it another try next time. read more

The food was really good but have to take stars away for the cleanliness. We walked in and right away the table was sticky. Could have been from previous food or from using a cleaning solution that leaves a film. Overall just not what you want to feel right as you sit down. On the note of sitting the booth was not secure so when I sat down the whole booth would slide. Which just makes it awkward as you get up. Service was nice and friendly. Lastly the bathrooms were really bad. I went into the mens and they had sticky floors. My wife said the women's was also bad. Came here for lunch with my mom. This used to be a different Pho restaurant I do believe. Cute decor and friendly staff. Ordered Goi Cuon as starter. Ordered combination Pho with all the meat. Goi Cuon was pretty good, I don't understand the plastic wrapper that comes with it.. Guessing if I don't eat them all I could bag it? Pho was a pretty good size with lots of meat. The broth had some sweetness to it.. Probably the first broth I had with some sweetness. Over all the food was good. They had so many different dishes, I would come back and try the other dishes. Our usually Pho spot is in Phoenix, this time I wanted to try somewhere local. The waiter was friendly when we walked in the door and the restaurant offered plenty of seating. We tried their filet mignon pho, fries with cheese powder, spring rolls, and ramen with shaking beef and fried egg. The filet mignon pho was spot on. Loved the warm broth, the spices were delicious and not overwhelming. The beef was tender and I feel they gave you a decent portion. The spring rolls were really fresh and I loved the hints of mint inside. Their peanut sauce was decent, it wasn't the best I've had, but it served its purpose. Their fries were good, crispy and hit the spot when you need a bit of salty goodness. The cheese powder tasted like Kraft Mac and cheese. Our last dish was the ramen with shaking beef. The ramen was on the drier side, wish it had a bit more sauce but I did really enjoy the flavor. Needed a few more onions and peppers in it as well. The beef melted in your mouth, whatever cut they use it was perfect. The fried egg on top was good, but I would have preferred it to be over medium with a slightly more runny yoke. Came here with a group of friends for dinner on a Friday evening. They weren't too busy so we were able to get seated immediately! I got a filet mignon pho which was really good. The broth was clean and there was a lot of onions which was perfect for me because I love a lot of onions in my pho. The meat was also super tender and delicious. I also got a Thai tea which I didn't like as much as the food. The Thai tea was super sweet and seemed like it might have been from a powder mix. She was helpful and understood us perfectly. I don't think the waiter who brought out our food understands a lot of English though. Our order: Nui Xao Bo Luc Lac $17 x2 Pho Filet $15 Spring Rolls $5 Thai green lemon tea $7 I'm not a fan of the pho here but I do like the Nui Xao Bo Luc Lac dish. It's shaken beef with pasta. It's pretty good here. I like the flavor of the whole dish. The meat is so tender! My friend said the filet in his oho was tender too but also agreed the pho is just okay. The green lemon tea was interesting but I would pass on that and get something else next time. I forgot a photo of my dish but I have ones taken previously on here somewhere. Cozy family place with friendly service. My Vietnamese friends took me there for their Canh Chua aka Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Soup with fresh pineapple and catfish. Broth is light but so fragrant and refreshing with the fresh pineapple. Catfish was fresh and tender. You can eat it with rice or noodles. We also ordered other family style authentic Vietnamese street food items which are hard to find in AZ. They even sell Vietnamese local snacks and chips! read more

One of the best pho restaurants I've been to in Arizona. We got the filet mignon pho and omg the broth is so flavorful and barely needed any hoisin/siracha. Also got the ramen and steak and the steak was sooo incredibly melt in your mouth tender. We also got spring rolls and those were standard fare nothing crazy but not bad at all. Service was pleasant. Interior was clean and spacious with variety of tables and booths to accommodate various group sizes. I'd say the prices were fair for the amount of food and especially the quality of food! If you want good good pho, you can't go eating it in the suburbs. Although this location is still considered in the suburbs of Chandler, it's located is closer to downtown Chandler. They have stuff on the menu you won't find in a south chandler pho place! I come here when I'm homesick. Wow. Was that delicious. I got the Pho with Filet Mignon and it was so flavorful and delicious. The broth had a great flavor and wasn't at all bland. The meat was tender and also very good. I'm no Pho expert, but I lived in Irvine for a while and pho was everywhere, so I've had my fair share. This is a top 5 for me for sure. The portion size is huge. We stopped here with a large party (coming off a bachelorette weekend). I was excited to see it seemed like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I got the bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles with grilled bbq pork and fried egg rolls - $14) and a Viet coffee ($6). Both were overall good (but average). The thit nuong/pork was red, which I haven't really seen before but my only critique is that they forgot the nuoc cham/fish sauce that traditionally accompanies the dish; after asking and they brought it out, it was a huge bowl but barely any sauce. I just love covering all the noodles with the fish sauce and I felt it was just not the same without as much. The portion was decent. Service was chaotic because of the number of people but they did try their best. Price wise - shockingly comparable to San Francisco prices, which idk why I thought Arizona would be cheaper. I then ordered a lemongrass peach chia seed tea when I arrived since it sounded yummy and healthy! The packaging of the food was perfect and kept everything hot on 15 minute drive home. Their menu had everything from rice noodles to hot pot. Our server was speedy and polite. Despite our order of 10 items, everything came out within 10 minutes. =ORDERED= *Combination Pho (Pho Dac Biet): notably almost $20. Came in a similar sized bowl as any regular options, only with extra meat. Ingredients included: sliced beef, beef balls, brisket, tendon, and tripe. The broth was on the saltier side but I enjoyed how there was plenty of broth. Everything stayed moist and hot the entire duration but I wished the meat was more tender. *BBQ Pork with Rice: pork was extremely dry and the dish included a lot of it. The sliced cucumber was notably spoiled. Rice was properly made as broken rice should be. *Stir Fried Pasta with Beef: came with penne noodles and covered in a ketchup based sauce. Wished the sauce was less sweet and sour as it was difficult to finish the pasta with a tingly tongue. Beef and vegetables were super tender and tasty. *Passionfruit Juice: sweet and tangy. Came with lots of passionfruit seeds. With the average bowl of pho costing $14, I was expecting a phenomenal broth and toppings. Despite the portion size being adequate, the components fell short of the average pho I'm used to. I wished tendon was more readily available on their menu so I didn't have to order their $20 combination pho to get it included. Omg I have been searching for a delicious pho place and I finally FOUND IT. Food here is fantastic! Very authentic and full of flavor. Their menu is unique as well and very reasonably priced.
