If you know anything about Pho, it's all about the broth. The broth here is so flavorful, leaves you wanting more. I always want to order more food like Spring Rolls but the bowl of Pho fills me up, I ain't mad lol. I ordered the #17 Rare Steak And Brisket - SO DELICIOUS! The staff here is on another level. So kind, attentive and happy. I honestly never had a bad experience here. Hence the reason why I choose to return. I always like to leave a review with the cleanliness of the restaurant. I was craving Asian food and decided to visit one of the better Vietnamese places in Henderson and was not disappointed by Pho Hong. It is located inside the same shopping center as In-n-Out, Goodwill and Grocery Wholesalers on the northeast corner of Serene and Eastern. As such, getting in and out of the shopping center can be challenging, depending on the time of the day. One thing I particularly appreciate is how friendly all their staff is and how clean they keep the restaurant. They have a wide variety of tasty dishes on their menu. Although I have not had their pho, it seemed all the other tables around us were enjoying it. I am not a big pho fan, especially when it is hot outside...so I stuck with rice dishes. Wife and I started with the fried egg rolls. The wrapper was perfectly delicate and light and they were not greasy. A great way to start dinner. Wife chose to have the shaken beef (cubed tenderloin), which included generous amounts of thinly cut onions and tomatoes. It was cooked very nicely and with the veggies, rice was not really needed. It's a great meal for someone looking for a meal with less carbs. For my meal, I chose the grilled pork and bean curd skin with shrimp. It came with a nice portion of broken rice and some pickled veggies which went well with the proteins. The pork was tender and flavorful. I absolutely loved the crispy tofu skin with shrimp! We were wondering why this place closed; but were pleasantly surprised when it re-opened after an upgrade with the new name! Patrick always welcomed us. The food was excellent and healthy. On our first visit, we ordered the #72 Sauteed Catfish in Clay Pot. It was the most expensive item and was dismayed since it was served in a small pot with a small piece of fish and sadly TOO SWEET and exchanged it for the Phở Đặc Biệt. Since then we continued to return. We met ms. Hong the manager and continued to come back. In our visits we were unhappy with the following: * The Avocado Boba was not served with Boba. We requested "NO SUGAR, NO MSG and NO SALT" but the LEMON GRASS CHICKEN and the mì xào giòn (crispy noodles) arrived with wet noodles. Both arrived TOO SWEET and extra spicy. Affordable, great value for the money. The location is in a busy shopping center, but once you get around to the end where this restaurant is located, there is ample parking and it's easy to walk inside. Service was amazing, ambiance is quiet but relaxing. Portions were enough but the quality and flavor to the food very good. You can tell it's like a hole in a wall mom and pops kind of restaurant. Very comforting and feels like home made food. My kids were well taken care of. The waiter i felt like he relates to having kids . 1/5 - Not Real Bún Bò Huế This was one of the most disappointing bowls of bún bò Huế I've had. The broth was bland, oily, and completely lacking depth--no lemongrass aroma, no chili heat, no funk from fermented shrimp paste. It tasted like diluted beef broth with oil floating on top. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, and the meat had no richness or proper preparation. Everything felt rushed and careless. If you know what authentic bún bò Huế should taste like, avoid this. This dish had none of the bold, spicy, aromatic qualities that define it. I wouldn't order this again and can't recommend it to anyone craving real Vietnamese food read more

They can't seem to keep the service good here.. (shaking my head) This happened on Sunday late afternoon during EDC weekend. There's a huge group (but looks like they're already there for a bit judging by what's on their table) Anyway the guy greeted me with the usual "for here or to go?" as soon as I walked in. The right side (booths) only has one party so I planted myself at table #18. He brought over the menu right away, then came back shortly with water (so far so good) I already know what I want so I told him #15 Pho combo, EXTRA large. I made sure to say this a few times. The food didn't take long but I knew it was NOT the extra large I've requested. I'm hungry so I wasn't going to make a fuss about this. Also note he did NOT bring out the veggie side plate that usually comes with your pho. (I thought he was going to come back with it) Now here comes the part I still CANNOT BELIEVE. Like how?!? I dig into the soup and tasted something it SHOULD NOT be in your pho. I mean, did I order this as extra? Came in to meet some friends over the weekend. I got to try the grilled beef spring rolls. Very delicious! Love the sauce that comes on the side, which was thick and savory. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious and satisfying. Not sure if it comes served hot but mine was iced. I would love to try more food from here. this is my favorite pho restaurant in las vegas. i've been coming to Pho Hong as a child, during high school (i attended silverado), and now as an adult. i was happy to see they now open everyday !! perfect for soup season. staff is always happy and very welcoming. even though their english is limited their hospitality is top notch. staff takes pride in cleaning their booths and tables for the next customers coming in. tonight i orders the #18 beef pho, grilled chicken bahn mi, 5 piece pork fried egg rolls, and #24 chicken chicken pho. this time the camera did not eat first... lol. i devoured the savory juicy chicken bahn mi. the bread was crispy on the outside and warm soft in the inside hugging the abundance of chicken and veggies. the eggrolls HIT everytime i order them. they come out freshly fried and piping hot with a side of pickled veggies and a sweet fish sauce. My favorite Pho spot when you compare price vs. what you get. The pho is solid and they are always happy to accommodate my special orders. Even on busy nights there is lots of seating, so we usually don't have a problem. Their side pork is very tasty on its own! A couple things to mention that aren't worth taking off a star for: sometimes they close for random days, so it's a good idea to call before you go over there, just to make sure they are open. I'm also bummed they got rid of their delivery service. They used to have an in-house delivery service which was fast an efficient, but like most places, they outsourced it to Grubhub, where it's much more now, unfortunately. read more

Food (5/5/): this was my first time visiting Pho Hong and I was originally going to get the Cambodian noodle soup or banh boi, but when we stepped in, the restaurant smelled like pho broth and I decided to get the rare steak, brisket, and flank pho instead. The pho broth was clear, flavorful, and very clean, and a regular sized bowl was plenty of food, especially for such a good price! Service (5/5): our servers were very attentive and friendly! Ambiance (5/5): I went on a weekend around noon, shortly after the restaurant opened at 11am. It wasn't very busy, but it's very spacious with plenty of parking in a safe area. Overall (5/5): it's hard to find good Vietnamese restaurants in Las Vegas, especially away from the Spring Mountain area, but I'm happy to have found such a great place in this area that I'll definitely continue to keep visiting! read more

My family and I have been coming here for years, and I phoned in a take out for the first time. I asked for a beef bahn mi. And when I got there, they gave me a chicken bahn mi. I asked if I could have beef instead because I 100% said beef over the phone. But they said they already made the chicken, and they didn't want to make another one. First off I'm going to say that the food was pretty tasty here and it's the only reason it's holding at a 3 star for me. When you walk in the ambiance is nice and the floor plan is open and doesn't feel crowded. We had the Pho, grilled pork with rice, salt pepper shrimp and the chicken Bahn mi. The reason why I have a 3 star and not anything higher is because the portions you get for the price isn't good, I loved the salt pepper shrimp and it's probably the best one I've had here in Vegas so far but that one dish alone can't carry this place to a 5 star. It took a little for someone to come take our order after bringing the menu, we also didn't get enough water for all 5 of us at the table so I guess we are supposed to share 3 cups. After we ordered the food came, we were missing one dish so we gave it some time since it was the grilled pork and rice, so after 10 minutes I had to flag the guy down to ask and he said I never ordered that but he clearly repeated our order back to us when he first took the order. Here we are waiting on the last dish so I ended up eating after all my family had finished their food. After I finished they took forever to bring the check, it felt like they were not out in the front for a good while so I couldn't flag them down to pay them. Lots of pork and veggies inside. The pho is a good size when I order to go. Lots of meat and green herbs to dress up my soup. You can't go wrong with the Special Pho or chicken pho. If you're willing to try more traditional soups, I would recommend getting the catfish soup. It's called sweet and sour catfish soup. You can eat it with a side of rice and it is light, delicious and full of umami flavor. There's plenty of seating inside, so it's good for groups. It has some traditional decor and it's clean. I ordered to-go and the XL combination pho was just okay. The rare steak comes raw, so i reboiled my hot soup so the meat would cook properly after I poured it into my bowl. The tendon came frozen as well so I boiled all my meet and tripe with the soup just to kill off any potential bacteria. I felt like the soup was bland so I added a lot of fish sauce and oyster sauce at home and then it was delicious. But I'd like to save myself the trouble from all the flavoring I had to add. But the chicken was tender compared to other pho places where they tend to dry it out. I like my pho spicy so I added the chili oil and jalapeños and chili garlic sauce along with the sriracha and hoisin. The service was good they were fast and attentive. The ambiance was regular food spot ambiance. Place has good lighting and very open and spacious lots of seats for people to dine in. The spring roll sauce had a watered down flavor and more gel like consistency rather than creamy like the typical peanut/hoisin sauce used for spring rolls. the spring rolls themselves were flavorless.
