This place was close to me. Prices are reasonable. They gave a pretty big portion in which I could not finish. It was delish! Tofu was lacking. I got like 3-4 big pieces. I like my tofu more fried too. But it all turned out okay. Too much bean sprouts for me too! Their lunch prices are very affordable. I definitely will try them out again Service was quick. It makes me sad to write this because I really loved this place for years. Ive been going since they were tucked away behind Vons. I think the combo of covid and moving to a larger space put undue pressure on the business because the prices keep going up and the food quality is going way down. I went on Friday for the first time in many months. They had an entirely new menu, with a lot of new items and higher prices. I ordered my favorite, the soft shell crab fried rice. Normally this is amazing but this time it was very bland and the crab was not fresh, at all. This is a shareable item, but $55. Crazy! We also ordered a new duck item. Half duck served crispy. This was a more expensive version of the same exact dish I got there before. Nothing new and nothing fresh as this just tasted bad. I love duck and I had to smother it in sauce to get it down. The only thing that saved the meal was the panang. They always make this well and this time we sprung for the upgraded rib option, which was very good and the only thing that didn't taste in the verge of expiration. The menu is nice and creative but it seems like the same items just not fresh and more expensive. I'm wondering if they just aren't busy enough and holding food longer than they should or using frozen items that you can't get away with passing off as fresh. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. At these pricea and declining quality, there are much better options, which is sad because I really liked this place and have gone so many times over the years. read more

I've been to Jasmine Rice here in Henderson several times in the last couple of years and the experience is always wonderful. The ambience and decor is pleasing and upscale. Parking is plentiful. The girl who seats the guests - sorry, can't recall her name - is a lovely young lady and super friendly, kind and welcoming. All of the servers I've had are equally polite and helpful. And on some days, there's even live music - a nice extra! As to the food, everything I've had has been delicious. Good portions and often thoughtfully adorned (little purple orchids, etc). The spring rolls have a delightful presentation of their own! Last time in, I brought an out of town friend, new to the restaurant. He loved his curry dish and I enjoyed my dinner as well. And if you're vegetarian or vegan, they've got lots of options on their extensive menu. Highly recommend this charming Thai restaurant, with it's excellent cuisine and lovely staff. The restaurant only had two people on the floor one lady taking orders and the other delivering food to the tables. That doesn't allow for decent service. But let me cut to the chase... it is very expensive. Two entrees were $77. The thing that really tee'd me off was the cost of the roasted duck especially when the server asked me if I would like to upgrade to crispy duck? Crispy duck was a $3 cost upgrade. Three bucks isn't a big deal to me, but to order a duck which is usually served crispy and pay $3 extra for limp, under-roasted, gamey duck is simply disappointing. I went to Jasmine knowing that it was high priced. The last time I was there the food was expensive but at least pretty good. This time food and service was a complete disappointment. We came here for the lunch special. I got the curry, chicken and basil chicken, and the special comes with soup and salad and egg roll which was delicious. I absolutely love the ambience. jasmine rice had such a luxurious feel for an asian fusion restaurant. context: i went with a large party in the early evening and it wasn't too busy. service was friendly, but it did take awhile for our food to come (~1 hour) but they were fulfilling a lot of orders for our party. inside it is very clean and nice. napkins folded in a nice way, and overall again a very luxurious feel. live music was amazing and honestly elevated the experience, hes a great singer and an excellent performer!! i am vegan and asked to make the pad thai vegan, and it wasn't my favorite (too salty), but everyone else was pleased with their food. i dont think this place is for me, but very interesting place! read more

The restaurant wasn't very crowded at all, but the singer was too loud for me to hear my dining companions easily. We had these: - Tom Yum chicken soup - Pineapple Curry - Jasmine Fried Rice - Egg Rolls - Pork Larb - Fried Calamari - Basil Eggplant Of these, we liked the Basil Eggplant the best. Had good flavor. The Pineapple Curry was also very good. The other dishes were just so-so. All the dishes seemed super salty, and this, from someone who likes their food salty. As a local always looking for the best Thai in the Vegas area, I'm so happy I found Jasmine Rice. Henderson has some decent spots, but this place is on another level. The atmosphere is lush and elegant, and you can tell Chef Somchai really cares about the quality he's putting out. The Food: We started with the Fresh Ginger Fish Salmon and my family absolutely loved it. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky and tender with a ginger sauce that was balanced just right. I had the Panang Curry and it was easily the highlight for me. It was so silky and rich with a depth of flavor you don't find everywhere. The Chicken Pad Thai was also a hit because the ingredients felt fresh and the flavors were totally authentic. We finished everything off with the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending. Seriously tasty. The Vibe: The service was great throughout the night, very attentive but they let us enjoy our meal. What really made the night special was the live singer. He sang some great classics and it really tied the whole atmosphere together, making the evening feel nostalgic and incredibly relaxing. It's such a rare treat to have live music that fits the vibe of the room so perfectly. This is officially one of my new favorite Thai restaurants in the Henderson area. My entire spring roll was literally just lettuce with a few pieces of carrots and a very thin peeled tofu piece and they charged me $25. Pretty basic Thai dishes. There was nothing spectacular about the flavors. The food gets a 3 out of 5. The indoor space is nice. Seemed like a lot of couples on dates were there which made the atmosphere lively but intimate. Thus the 4 star rating. If you want a place to go on a date then this is a good spot. If you want to go for the food only, maybe go to Lamaii or Lotus of Siam which may be a bit pricier but much more flavorful. read more

We had a prix fixe menu for our party, and the flavors were pretty good, albeit a bit on the sweeter taste profile. The Pad Thai tasted off as it was sweet and had a bit too much fish sauce. Oh my goodness! This restaurant was just so amazing! Going in, we were surprised on how fancy it was. There was live music and I think he realized we were Filipino and he sang Anak by Freddie Aguilar. But then when he talked to the waiters he was speaking Thai. So that was amazing talent! The food, not only did it taste good, but the presentation was beautiful! Our chicken satay was served in a little birdhouse-like plate. The dessert was served in one of those high tea trays. One of the best mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream I have ever had. Everything was so delightful. But the reason I will come back is because of our waitress Nana.
