Best pho place within walking distance from the metro. Great service, never disappoints. I love their boba teas. They have good room space for multiple guests. If you're like me, and order lots of food. They have room for it. There are water pond fountains with little fish in it for decoration. Television Incase you want to watch the news, a game, or just plain tv. This is the spot for a late night meal as well they don't close till 12pm. So, for sure stop by. read more

This was one of my favorite restaurants, but this changed last month. I went there for lunch because it was my fathers birthday. We ordered our food and I got the combination of rice with the three meats (like I usually do), but this time let me tell you IT WAS TERRIBLE. The beef was cold and the chicken tasted really bad. An old lady came to our table asking if everything was okay, I told her that my beef was cold and the chicken tasted bad all she got to say was that she was going to check in the kitchen of what was happening, but she never came back giving an explanation or just to apologize. Our waiter never came to see if we needed something or if everything was okay. Terrible service and food. read more

Pho is Based on French style cooking. Having said that they should know how to use salt. The best out of the meal I had there was the Cha Gio fried spring rolls and that wasn't great either. The Best Flan I ever had was not here. There was No sugar either in the Flan either. The waiter was not attentive your best bet is staying out of Annandale when you Vietnamese go to Eden Center, Loehmanns Plaza (Pho 75), or Clarendon for Vietnamese food. read more

Generous helpings and options to order "sides" of meat along with your pho, and yummy egg/spring rolls! I love their mango bubble tea as well. Its my main go to Pho spot. Walk in, hold up 2 fingers so the staff can see it's just me and my boyfriend, and we are seated immediately. It does take them maybe 10 minutes to come to you. Recently there are newer people that have greater difficulty understanding English and keep missing that we want spring rolls, but I won't trash it because of one person. They are a bit lax at filling your water, so I tend to leave my cup at the edge in hopes they come by more often than not. They stay open till 12 which is a huge plus. Lighting is a little dim but they do have tv's going, although only for folks facing the kitchen. read more

The spring rolls (with rice paper) had WAY too much noodles and way too little of everything else! The shrimp in the rolls were with a slightly funky odor too. I'm talking about thick-as-my-wrist rolls with massive amounts of noodles--messy to eat and lacking on taste for sure. The peanut sauce served with them is actually good, but the rolls overall--meeeh. Chicken pho had lots of white meat chicken in it, but the broth was pretty tasteless, I had to doctor mine up with a lot of hot sauce, and the sprouts and basil looked like they weren't super fresh. read more

Just bought carry out vermicelli noodle salad and 2 #2 noodle soups opened the box when I got home it was a big disappointment. Very skimpy on the meats lot of vegetables!! I have been regular customer for several years. The carry out has been consistently skimpy when the owner is not working at the restaurant. I was surprised at how large it is compared with other pho places I've been to in DC. We enjoyed our pho, though the vegetarian pho was a bit different from what I've had in the past. Delicious! Pho Hot's beef stew noodle or Beet Stew with bread is bar none! Actually, I'm hyping it. Pho 75 (Graham Rd)'s beef stew noodle is equally as good. Outside of Vietnamese noodle, the Hunan Gourmet in Fair Oaks mall have great beef noodle as well. Also, the size of their big bowl is HUGE. I leave satisfied every single time. The best pho restaurant that I have gone to so far, clean, spacious, fast serving, excellent service and food!

I really like the pho here but it seems that every time I come the service is really bad. Usually at other Vietnamese food spots you water or drinks are never empty. Here at Pho Hot the servers are too busy on their phones or rolling silverware. There are times where I asked the after for something like wooden chopsticks (because I don't dare use the plastic filthy ones that they have) and the waiter never comes back with it until I have to walk up the counter to just grab it myself. I really don't want to be a high maintenance costumer but it's really bad. The spring rolls are decent and we've ask for small plates to place smaller food on and they come back with little sauce dipping bowls. If it wasn't for the pho being good, I don't think I would really eat here. If anyone knows of a great pho place in the Annadale area then please pass the info along. read more

This place is horrible. I normally order the Pho, but the other day, I wanted to try something else out on their menu. Bad mistake. I ordered the Bun Cha Gio (spring rolls with vermicelli noodles) and when they brought my order out, the noodles were extremely cold, which wasn't even the worse part. The cooks used day (or days) old noodles. Fresh cooked vermicelli noodles are still normally soft and kind of gooey, not to mention still warm from the boiling water. These noodles were extremely cold and clumped together. I could also tell they were days old because my parents also own a Viet restaurant in a different state and I know what fresh noodles look and taste like. The spring rolls (cha gio) was also terrible. They were definitely cooked and then microwaved later. The service sucks here too. We literally have to yell for someone to come over just to refill our water. I don't recommend this place and I will never come back. read more

I always go out of my way to come here whenever I want pho. It is cheap and fast and tasty! The bubbles in the boba are a little bland and tough, but in a pinch I'll eat it anyway. They are open late, which is great for my work schedule.
