What a delightful experience. On a cold December night before a snowstorm I ran over to order a pho to go and some crispy spring rolls. They wrapped the rolls in foil to keep them hot. The pho broth was rich and herbaceous and deep. The mint was fresh. The jalapeños plentiful. The limes juicy. And the meats. They've supplied me with some delicious flank and tendon and brisket. Great food, great service and a nice place to eat. The only negative was where I was sitting. I was sitting in direct line of the door opening and it was very cold the day I was there. I considered asking to move when a table came available, but figure I was eating a hot bowl of pho and that would keep me warm. In reality, I saw an inner door that was propped open and when it is so cold outside, the inner door should be closed. Anyway, on to the food! I had an order of the summer rolls and they didn't disappoint. They were large and meaty and full of deliciousness. My bowl of pho and all of the toppings came while I was eating my summer rolls. After adding veggies, lime and Sriracha to my pho, I got to work! Everything tasted good, but there was fat on some of the meat and I ordered well done flank and lean brisket, nothing that should have been pieces of just fat. I don't know if they made a mistake or added fatty brisket or fat tendon to my pho, neither of which I like or would order. Other than that, it was delicious, reasonably priced and needed on this super chilly December day. I asked my Vietnamese barber where I should go for authentic Vietnamese food, and he pointed this out to me. I'm glad he did, and have visited twice. The location is in a non-descript tiny strip mall. The inside isn't particularly fancy either. That said, this place has the goods - and it's fairly inexpensive. Most dishes are in the $18-$20 range and what I had were very satisfying. Extra points for super-fast service, at least around lunchtime. Unlike the Eden Center I've had no problems with a language barrier, and this place has much better parking. read more

It's Korean pho. IYKYK. It wasn't awful but it was watered down with not enough meat. Plus service was dismissive and uninformed.

This is one of my favorite go to comfort spot. I've been going here for probably over 5 years or so. I eat here every few months (if I ate here more often I'd probably become broke haha). I love that the location has plentiful parking and there's actual space. You know what I'm talking about if you've ever been to the Eden Center, they try to make too many spaces so when opening doors you could scrape another car. So let's get to the service and food. I always love the service here because no matter how busy they get they're always pretty polite. I also love that the food always comes out at a timely manner and if you happen to order something that might take a bit, they inform you and ask if that's okay. On this day, I got myself some Bo Luc Lac. I was in the mood for rice and did it hit the spot. I love the veggies that come with it and the portion. I actually ended up only eating half and saving the rest for leftovers. It was great as a leftover. Helpful hint: if you wet a paper towel and put it on top of your leftovers when heating it up in the microwave it will refresh your food. Besides my main course, my friend got the chao ga and we shared cha goi and goi cuon. Loved the cha goi and goi cuon. My friend mentioned that their chao was a little bland to their liking. I was surprised by it because I actually ordered a chao ca to take home. I came in with intention of wanting to buy something to eat the next day and the server recommended pho or chao. The server specifically suggested the fish porridge since that was what I was in the mood for. The next day, it tasted amazing! Didn't taste bland to me and the veggies that came with were a perfect addition. I even got the fried donut in my to-go. I highly recommend asking the server if you ever don't know what to get. Extra note: There's a location in the Eden Center and I heard there's another as well. I love the pho but if I'm feeling rice, I'll get 29A which is fried rice and shaky beef. Their shaky beef is the best I've ever had in the area. Other Viet restaurants have different shaky beef recipes, but none of comparable to here. The shaky beef has savory flavors of garlic and the meat is soft and tender. Love it here! read more

I want to give this place a 5/5. I got my order to-go and all the food was organized well and wrapped neatly (ordered through Doordash). However, the pho broth was much too salty (and way too much MSG) that it made my throat and mouth incredibly dry. Even a few hours later as I'm writing this review (and have drank multiple cups of water), my mouth is still dry. #6 Tái, Chín, Sách - 14.95 The portion size of the pho was pretty big - lots of pho noodles, beansprouts, and garnish. I wish there was more meat though, but the quality of the meat was pretty good. And then a whole quart sized worth of broth. Upon first sip, I thought the broth was pretty flavorful and delicious. However, the more I drank it, the saltier it became. So I would not recommend drinking all of it and only using the broth to add bathe the noodles with flavor and taste. #23 Gỏi Cuốn - 5.95 The summer rolls were very enjoyable. There was a very fragrant mint flavor and the shrimps were fresh. The peanut sauce was very tasty and creamy! I would definitely recommend it - a bit expensive for two rolls, though. Even with all the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I feel that this place is one of my usual go to. Located in a small shopping center off the main road, you could miss it. Inside is decorated like most pho shops. Depends on the day it can be busy. I find their food is pretty consistent every time I go. I always go with my favorite, Bun Bo Hue and my wife usually get vermicelli bowl. Their cha gio is always crispy and hits the spot! We usually like to get other items here and there to try. Service is pretty quick and prices are competitive with other restaurants. If I have to nitpick sometimes it does smell like cleaning solution inside. I came for vegetarian pho! Hard to find a good veg pho but I've been here before and wanted to try it. It was really really good. I loved the toppings they were very generous with the broccoli and carrots. There was also puffed tofu which is my favorite and much better than regular tofu. WHERE IS MY SOUP? HELLO? I ordered a beef tripe and brisket pho in a large for pick-up. But when my dad went in to pick up my food for dinner, everything seemed fine. Once we got home, I ran upstairs to dress comfortably and when I came back down stairs, no soup. No soup. NO SOUP??? Whoever served me tonight and made my food did a pointless job on this. I literally expected better from them but I guess not. My dad tells me that this place is good when my uncle and my dad visited this restaurant couple months ago. But maybe its just me. The menu is huge, so many things to choose from and all of them are fire. Broth is clean and flavorful and they give a lot of meat, the regular bowl is also pretty big and will fill you up. Recommend the pho dac biet or any of them that has tendons in it its amazing. Utensils are individually packed in a paper holder which is cute and clean. I've been coming here with my family for years now and this is the best pho place that I've ever been to. The store is clean and ever since COVID-19, employees have been wearing masks and handing out utensils in little paper baggies. The tables themselves are appropriately distanced, although it can get a little loud, especially around lunchtime with how busy they always are. Usually upon entering, you are directed towards a seat, given water and menus. The staff is always attentive and considerate. They have a large selection of food and everything I've personally ordered from the restaurant has always been exceptional. Food is typically served in minutes and takeout tastes great as well. Some favorites are: the combination pho, grilled pork & vermicelli noodle, egg noodle soup (w/ shrimp, pork, and quail egg), and iced coffee. Pho Sundays! It's become a tradition of mine to have pho on Sundays. Even if it's on a hot summer day, pho is on my mind. Now that it's chillier, pho is a must! I usually have a go to spot but now let's broaden that horizon! I haven't explored much of Virginia's pho but super happy to open up this route . The broth has a very delicate beefy warmth when it touches you taste buds. The noodles are chewy and plentiful. The meat in the soup was welled cooked. Ordered extra raw beef for that softer texture when placed in the hot broth, adding more beefy goodness. Don't forget to get extra onions and the beef fat with scallions for the extra crunch and flavor! As an add-on, I got the shakey beef appetizer. Comes with a side of Maggi sauce for savory dipping. The meat is very tender and melts in you mouth. If the flavor is a bit salty, the bed of green veggies pairs well with a few pieces of the meat. I really enjoyed my first meal here. Their spicy condiments are fantastic - especially their homemade red chili sauce. Added the perfect amount of spicy. The veggie toppings they had were both fresh and authentic. I just had to give this place an updated review of 5 stars. Their dedication to service, quality and consistency is unmatched at other Vietnamese restaurants. We consistently get their #1 large and still have not been disappointed. The broth is always piping hot and delicious with a generous serving of meats and toppings. Their vegetable platter is fresh and clean. To be more description on the vegetable platter that comes with your pho, we have been at places where the bean sprouts have not been cleaned well and have some dead basil leaves. This has not happened here which is greatly appreciated due to their diligent staff making sure the items are good quality.
