They have the best authentic Pho I have ever had. The restaurant feels so comforting and the high quality food comes out fast every time. Definitely recommend if you're in the Annandale area and want Vietnamese food.

Great food, great service and a nice place to eat. The only negative was where I was sitting. I was sitting in direct line of the door opening and it was very cold the day I was there. I considered asking to move when a table came available, but figure I was eating a hot bowl of pho and that would keep me warm. In reality, I saw an inner door that was propped open and when it is so cold outside, the inner door should be closed. Anyway, on to the food! I had an order of the summer rolls and they didn't disappoint. They were large and meaty and full of deliciousness. My bowl of pho and all of the toppings came while I was eating my summer rolls. After adding veggies, lime and Sriracha to my pho, I got to work! Everything tasted good, but there was fat on some of the meat and I ordered well done flank and lean brisket, nothing that should have been pieces of just fat. I don't know if they made a mistake or added fatty brisket or fat tendon to my pho, neither of which I like or would order. Other than that, it was delicious, reasonably priced and needed on this super chilly December day. I definitely recommend a visit and I will also be visiting their other location in Tysons.

I asked my Vietnamese barber where I should go for authentic Vietnamese food, and he pointed this out to me. I'm glad he did, and have visited twice. The location is in a non-descript tiny strip mall. The inside isn't particularly fancy either. That said, this place has the goods - and it's fairly inexpensive. Most dishes are in the $18-$20 range and what I had were very satisfying. Extra points for super-fast service, at least around lunchtime. Unlike the Eden Center I've had no problems with a language barrier, and this place has much better parking.

This is one of my favorite go to comfort spot. I've been going here for probably over 5 years or so. I eat here every few months (if I ate here more often I'd probably become broke haha). I love that the location has plentiful parking and there's actual space. You know what I'm talking about if you've ever been to the Eden Center, they try to make too many spaces so when opening doors you could scrape another car. So let's get to the service and food. I always love the service here because no matter how busy they get they're always pretty polite. I also love that the food always comes out at a timely manner and if you happen to order something that might take a bit, they inform you and ask if that's okay. On this day, I got myself some Bo Luc Lac. I was in the mood for rice and did it hit the spot. I love the veggies that come with it and the portion. I actually ended up only eating half and saving the rest for leftovers. It was great as a leftover. Helpful hint: if you wet a paper towel and put it on top of your leftovers when heating it up in the microwave it will refresh your food. Besides my main course, my friend got the chao ga and we shared cha goi and goi cuon. Loved the cha goi and goi cuon. My friend mentioned that their chao was a little bland to their liking. I was surprised by it because I actually ordered a chao ca to take home. I came in with intention of wanting to buy something to eat the next day and the server recommended pho or chao. The server specifically suggested the fish porridge since that was what I was in the mood for. The next day, it tasted amazing! Didn't taste bland to me and the veggies that came with were a perfect addition. I even got the fried donut in my to-go. I highly recommend asking the server if you ever don't know what to get. Extra note: There's a location in the Eden Center and I heard there's another as well. I don't know where so if anyone knows let me know would love to try the other locations (I've been to the Eden Center) Which btw food is just as good.

I would advise against getting the pork chops to go. For the past few carry outs l, I've got nothing but the worst pieces. You get much better ones when dining in. Stick with grilled pork instead of you just do carry outs.

I forewarned & put it out there that my Pho intake would increase with the cold & tonight is no exception, lol. Got my usuals & to-go cuz brrrrr I want to eat in the warmth of my home & stay inside all toasty & warm with a full belly in this 20brrrrrr degrees lol. Ordered two Pho with Chin, two Spring Rolls & Summer Rolls cuz hey... I like all my seasons wink wink! Everything was delish as always but Quan, aka Mike, if you are reading this please know they only gave us enough sides for one soup & it was too dang brrrrrrr cold for me to want to drive back to get more but this is really no bueno. No bueno at all. And I miss my tea, Quan! Especially when it's this cold. Brrrrrr!

I want to give this place a 5/5. I got my order to-go and all the food was organized well and wrapped neatly (ordered through Doordash). However, the pho broth was much too salty (and way too much MSG) that it made my throat and mouth incredibly dry. Even a few hours later as I'm writing this review (and have drank multiple cups of water), my mouth is still dry. #6 Tái, Chín, Sách - 14.95 The portion size of the pho was pretty big - lots of pho noodles, beansprouts, and garnish. I wish there was more meat though, but the quality of the meat was pretty good. And then a whole quart sized worth of broth. Upon first sip, I thought the broth was pretty flavorful and delicious. However, the more I drank it, the saltier it became. So I would not recommend drinking all of it and only using the broth to add bathe the noodles with flavor and taste. #23 Gỏi Cuốn - 5.95 The summer rolls were very enjoyable. There was a very fragrant mint flavor and the shrimps were fresh. The peanut sauce was very tasty and creamy! I would definitely recommend it - a bit expensive for two rolls, though. Overall, I'd come here again (and hopefully in person). The take out was pretty solid (except the super salty broth) and I would love to have an even better experience dining in.

When: Sunday lunch take out order Food: 4.5/5 - We ordered 2 orders of com thit nuong bi cha (rice with grilled beef, shredded pork, and pork patty) and 1 com suon nuong bi cha (rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork, and pork patty). Comes with vegetables and side of nuoc mam (fish sauce). Very delicious!!! Meats were cooked nicely with juicy flavors. Service: 3/5 - Ordered takeout and the prices online do not match up with the actual prices. Prices are $3-$4 more now per dish. They need to update their website. Vibes: 3/5 - Your typical ol pho restaurant. Nothing special but nothing bad. Other: Parking lot is easy and out front.

Even with all the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I feel that this place is one of my usual go to. Located in a small shopping center off the main road, you could miss it. Inside is decorated like most pho shops. Depends on the day it can be busy. I find their food is pretty consistent every time I go. I always go with my favorite, Bun Bo Hue and my wife usually get vermicelli bowl. Their cha gio is always crispy and hits the spot! We usually like to get other items here and there to try. Service is pretty quick and prices are competitive with other restaurants. If I have to nitpick sometimes it does smell like cleaning solution inside. I definitely recommend checking this place out when you have a craving for Vietnamese food!

Cute lil spot!!! Pho was amazing, not super vegetarian friendly and so didn't LOVE the tofu but otherwise did the job. Husband got the beef pho and he loved it. The spot seems family owned and the servers were very sweet and attentive. We also got the shrimp summer rolls w the peanut sauce, it was delish!

    Canned mushrooms in vegetarian pho
    Lina A.

I came for vegetarian pho! Hard to find a good veg pho but I've been here before and wanted to try it. It was really really good. I loved the toppings they were very generous with the broccoli and carrots. There was also puffed tofu which is my favorite and much better than regular tofu. Flavor was great, def hit the spot. 4 stars because the mushrooms were very obviously canned mushrooms - use fresh mushrooms they taste much better! Canned mushrooms have a weird texture to me and I just don't like them. Everything else was great.

Despite an unassuming exterior, the atmosphere inside is almost magical with beautiful Korean decor and charming scripted wallpaper. Our waiter kindly reviewed the menu with us and made some recommendations when we let him know we were first-time visitors (and half of us were newer to Korean food), and we were all able to make choices we were very happy with. I chose the combination (beef, mussels, and shrimp) tofu soup, mild spicy, and was delighted with the flavor profile and consistency. To me, this was so perfectly flavored and comforting that the meat and seafood weren't even needed. Next time, I'd be content trying the mushroom soup! Our table also split a pancake with pork, which was also delicious. The pancake arrived after our main dishes, and I wish it had arrived first as some of us in the party were too full to enjoy it. Everyone else in our group ordered bulgogi, and those that did said it was delicious as well. My husband, who cooks bulgogi, was thrilled with it, and our friends who hadn't ventured further than Trader Joe's bulgogi were enchanted with the real thing. Overall, great experience and great prices for an absolutely delicious meal. I hope to come back and try more dishes!

Though it was tasty, it didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped.  We ordered it medium spicy as we were warned not to have the spice overwhelm the taste of the broth (we like spicy so it wasn't a matter of degree of heat.)  We brought some home as leftovers so we will see if it has a little more oomph after resting for a day.  The service was good and quick and we appreciated that extra utensils, napkins and to go containers were really easily accessible.  The lot is small when compared to the number of tables inside.  But, as the sign on the door states, you can park at the church across the street.

On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.
