Chicken Lo Mein, side of BBQ Roasted Pork (char siu pork sauteed with fried onions)
    Nina R.

This is my go-to for Chinese carryout. I've tried a few other casual dining places in the area when I have a craving for Chinese food and I keep coming back to this place for several years now. Today I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and a side of BBQ Grilled Pork. The chow mein noodles were thick, cooked to perfection and quite flavorful. Even though the noodles were cooked al dente, they were still very fluffy and chewy. Perfect texture. I believe the noodles were stir fried with a mild brown sauce and you could taste mild hints of garlic and ginger, along with the tender slices of chicken, bean sprouts, thinly sliced carrots and a bits of nappa cabbage here and there. Delightful. The side of BBQ Grilled Pork seemed to be slices of char siu pork sauteed with slices of onion and a little brown sauce. Delish. I always try different items on the menu and I have never been disappointed. Highly recommend for carryout.

My go to spot for Chinese carry out! Food is always consistent. I love how they use giant shrimps. I always get the udon noodles with sa cha sauce which is off the menu. Service is always nice and friendly. The is a carry out only spot so no dine in available. They're really busy every time I stop by to pick up my order. They use to have delivery but I'm not sure if they still offer the service.

Had a few orders from the lunch menu.. it was good, fried rice needs more flavor! Soups were pretty good!

    Mongolian Beef

I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was a large portion of tasty Chinese food. The beef was high quality with no fatty or stringy pieces and the onions and scallions were fresh as well. The menu is a little confusing so I ordered a side of white rice since I wasn't sure if my meal came with rice but it does so no need to order any unless you want extra rice. I was pretty hungry and still had enough for two meals. Delivery was fast and my food was fresh and hot so I'll order from here again.

I'm new to the area and had a really hard time finding Chinese delivery I liked. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place. The prices are reasonable and the food looks like the pictures on their help and is a good portion. We will be ordering from here a few times a month.

Ordered from here twice now and I have to say it's excellent! The first time I ordered it was the middle of a snowstorm. I ordered via the Yelp app and they use Grubhub to deliver. I assume that no one from Grubhub came to pick it up, so they delivered it themselves. Really sweet-they could have canceled the order and let it go, but instead they went the extra mile. The second time, my order actually came 20 min before the app said it would. These guys are on top of their game. Seafood Delight, yum! Food is great! Traditional American Chinese food at a reasonable price. The hot and sour soup is one of my favorites. Can't go wrong with General Tso's either.

I was craving Chinese carry out and used door dash. The food came earlier than the estimated time and it came really hot too. Beef and broccoli and the hot and sour soup were pretty good for carry out. Door dash didn't have the option to add chili oil on the side, but I called the restaurant and the lady added it. The dinner portion of the beef and broccoli is large.

We really like this place for lunch! No frills Chinese takeout. The lunch portions are good for $9 and it's always been fresh when I've ordered.

New China has been my family's go-to Chinese food spot for over 10 years. My family always orders the Curry Tofu, General Tso Tofu, Veggie Lo Mein, Veggie fried Rice and the string beans, sometimes they throw in some veggie spring rolls! Consistently dependable, usually about 30-45 minutes to delivery.

Despite an unassuming exterior, the atmosphere inside is almost magical with beautiful Korean decor and charming scripted wallpaper. Our waiter kindly reviewed the menu with us and made some recommendations when we let him know we were first-time visitors (and half of us were newer to Korean food), and we were all able to make choices we were very happy with. I chose the combination (beef, mussels, and shrimp) tofu soup, mild spicy, and was delighted with the flavor profile and consistency. To me, this was so perfectly flavored and comforting that the meat and seafood weren't even needed. Next time, I'd be content trying the mushroom soup! Our table also split a pancake with pork, which was also delicious. The pancake arrived after our main dishes, and I wish it had arrived first as some of us in the party were too full to enjoy it. Everyone else in our group ordered bulgogi, and those that did said it was delicious as well. My husband, who cooks bulgogi, was thrilled with it, and our friends who hadn't ventured further than Trader Joe's bulgogi were enchanted with the real thing. Overall, great experience and great prices for an absolutely delicious meal. I hope to come back and try more dishes!

The particular soup is soon dubu, which is silken or soft tofu stew. And it was a great flavorful soup. I went with medium heat which was good for me. Enough to have spice without overpowering. We went around 2p on a Saturday, and while busy it was not crowded. We had no wait. The small parking lot can get full, but a sign says you can park at the church parking lot across the street. Wooden tables all around in what is a much bigger space than you would expect from what you see on the outside. There are bigger combos for groups, or individual combos if you want the stew plus a protein (bulgogi, kalbi, jeyuk (spicy pork), etc). We each got a combo and split everything except our soups. We got kalbi and jeyuk. We also ordered a small kimchi pancake as appetizer. I will say the soup is great. Everything else, is just ok. The banchan offered 4 small dishes: traditional cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, vinegary sliced radish, and sauteed bean sprouts. All were just ok, nothing special, and wish there were more banchans. The kimchi pancake was slightly overcooked, but nothing crazy. The kalbi was sliced very thin, and had good flavor. The jeyuk had good flavor. But quantity was not a lot for the kalbi or jeyuk. We ate well for a nice lunch for two. But it's overpriced. We did order a lot for a lunch, but we didn't get an unbelievable amount. And it came to $92.92 before tip for 2 people. I would probably rate 3.5 given the price level, but I'll round to 4. You can get a $15 lunch combo during the week. Or $18 individual combo and be perfectly fine. So maybe don't go crazy like we did.

On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.

Banchan was kimchi, Danmuji fruit and slices of white onion. Accompanying the banchan was a dipping sauce that was similar to, but not the same as the black bean sauce. I will definitely be back.
