This is my go-to for Chinese carryout. I've tried a few other casual dining places in the area when I have a craving for Chinese food and I keep coming back to this place for several years now. Today I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and a side of BBQ Grilled Pork. The chow mein noodles were thick, cooked to perfection and quite flavorful. Even though the noodles were cooked al dente, they were still very fluffy and chewy. Perfect texture. I believe the noodles were stir fried with a mild brown sauce and you could taste mild hints of garlic and ginger, along with the tender slices of chicken, bean sprouts, thinly sliced carrots and a bits of nappa cabbage here and there. Delightful. The side of BBQ Grilled Pork seemed to be slices of char siu pork sauteed with slices of onion and a little brown sauce. Delish. I always try different items on the menu and I have never been disappointed. Highly recommend for carryout. read more

I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was a large portion of tasty Chinese food. The beef was high quality with no fatty or stringy pieces and the onions and scallions were fresh as well. The menu is a little confusing so I ordered a side of white rice since I wasn't sure if my meal came with rice but it does so no need to order any unless you want extra rice. I was pretty hungry and still had enough for two meals. Delivery was fast and my food was fresh and hot so I'll order from here again. read more

Ordered from here twice now and I have to say it's excellent! The first time I ordered it was the middle of a snowstorm. I ordered via the Yelp app and they use Grubhub to deliver. I assume that no one from Grubhub came to pick it up, so they delivered it themselves. Really sweet-they could have canceled the order and let it go, but instead they went the extra mile. The second time, my order actually came 20 min before the app said it would. These guys are on top of their game. Seafood Delight, yum! Food is great! Somehow lucked into trying this on DoorDash as the pandemic is (hopefully) winding down. So happy I did. I have now ordered from here many times. Delivery is lightning fast, which means all the yummy goodness is served piping hot. I have tried just about all the chicken dishes and some of the veg ones too, and never had a dud. The chicken in every dish has been premium stuff, tender and flavorful. Kung Pao and cashew versions had crispy nuts balancing it out. Hot and sour soup also rocks. One star rating for service. I ordered an Ubereats order for this establishment, realized I submitted an incorrect order. I called the restaurant immediately spoke to one friendly young lady to let them know my order was incorrect and told them what i wanted. I told them i would call Uber to help with correcting the rest of the order. After submitting a correction with Uber I received a call from an enrage women, different from the first one i spoke you, she yelled at me and asked if i had contacted Uber. I told her i just did and asked what the issue was because I thought they were only going to make what i had originally called them about. The woman seem to not hear or listen to what I told her. After retelling her about three times that I did contact Uber and asking her to make only what called in, she rudely told me that the driver was at the restaurant and hung up the phone. Tried this spot for the first time, parking lot is a bit annoying but upon arrival I was upset to find out my food wasn't ready but they were quick to get it ready as they were extremely busy. The food made up for everything, absolutely delicious and fresh would definitely be back. read more

It doesn't say on their website but the meals, like the Kong Pao Chicken, come with white rice. Unfortunately, the Kong Pao Chicken didn't have any peppers in it but a lot of celery and water chestnuts. Fried rice was pretty standard and good. Usually my top place for Chinese food. Never again. Ordered from here through Grubhub because I had a coupon. To preface I usually wait until after the food is delivered to tip accordingly through the app. When the lady got here with the food my other half answered the door and said thank you for the food while trying to close the door. She then started yelling at him said "tip. You need to give tip. It wasn't included in the order so you need to give me cash." He tried to explain to her that tip would be through the app but she refused to listen and said he needed to give her cash now. He does not do confrontation so I just walked up behind him and closed the door. She then proceeded to punch my front door! I just locked it and got a hold of Grubhub. I hate to let this place go but this was a woman with a nasty attitude that made this business lose customers. read more

I have a few favorite Chinese takeout places and this is one of them. I personally love that they serve the sha cha chicken dish because it isn't usually available at other Chinese restaurants. You can choose how spicy you want it, which is awesome. The wonton soup is always fresh and not soggy, which is a plus. I also enjoy the combination fried rice :) Yummy chinese takeout! I stopped for takeout to bring to a friend's place on New Years Eve. The food was just ok. The fried rice that came as a side with wings was overcooked and had no vegetables, just rice and soy sauce. The wonton soup tasted like soy sauce in a watery broth - definitely pass on that. The egg drop soup was good and so were the wings. We didn't get any other Chinese food but I think based on the wonton soup and fried rice, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

This is the best of the decent Chinese food places around. Which is why it's getting four stars. Sadly I give four stars typically to places that are better overall in their category than this place, so this is a relative rating. The food is pretty consistently flavorful based on all the different hints we've ordered. A big plus to this place is that they fold their cheese wontons into simple corners that are SO MUCH EASIER TO EAT then those weird pockets many of the other restaurants do. The meat to veggie ratio was great, particularly the last time we ordered. Mostly meat- so hopefully that stays consistent since I've seen other reviews negatively mentioning this ratio in the past. OMG my favorite chinese food in northern virginia. I regularly drive out of my way for it. First off: NOODLES. The lo mein is just perfect. I prefer the chicken, my husband the beef, but this is the anchor or our order. Next: Add ons- the crab rangoons are delish, as are the spring rolls. I'm a suck for the pork wontons slathered in soy, but I'm a salt fiend. This place is easy to get in and out of; maybe a little difficult to find. The lady who takes your order is a dear and the food comes out promptly. There's only a table or two on the interior- it's really best to take your meal home. I'm going to try to keep this simple, earlier today we ordered delivery from New China and the person who answered was courteous as were the 2 young children of about 7 and 10 years old who delivered the food to my door. The shrimp with scallops as well as the Pepper Steak were about 95% vegetables. The steamed meat dumplings were good until I ate and spit out a piece that contained a metal object I can only assume was a staple. My stomach has been hurting ever since I ate the food. I am definitely never ordering from here again. This is the second time I have ordered from here and I am very pleased with the taste compared to the others have been to and even thought some had complaints about long delivery time i ordered on a Sat evening and had the food to my door in about 30 min. For a Sat at prime dinner time that is faster then most pizza joints. I love this restaurant for so many reasons! 1.) Online ordering AND delivery? I can not even begin to tell you how this changed my extremely anti-social life. 2.) Very large portion sizes. 3.) Yummy brown sauce! All the previous Chinese places I have tried had the clear sauce, which is definitely not as good. 4.) I live pretty close (around two miles) so delivery was relatively fast for evening rush hour traffic and the food was hot. The delivery person was very nice too. The only downside was my spring rolls were a tad too fried for my taste. However, I am VERY picky about my food and I still thought they were good too. I will be ordering again soon. :) read more
