Amazing food every time! The service is always fast and the restaurant is always clean.

I give This spot a 3.75. I was recovering from the 2nd dose of the covid vaccination and I wanted something filling and warm! My neighbor raves about this place so I had to check out the Pho spot. When we arrived, the menu was on a front table and we had to pick What we wanted before we sat down . Odd. But ok . The representative was not the most helpful in terms of what was good or what peop For my dinner, ordered the crispy Spring rolls. They were good. For my Pho, I ordered the #21. Which is the The Pho Tai Cham nam. For my drink. I ordered the Thai Tea. The food was decent. For me, it wasn't anything over the top or amazing. Our water was never refilled. We had to go up to the front to pay. We had to ask for a bag. Major plus the parking is free!

I had HIGH hopes for this place since it is in my neighborhood and I had received positive word of mouth from a relative. Well, needless to say, I won't be taking restaurant recommendations from that person anymore, since I found the food at Pho Anh Duong to be very subpar. I've passed by this place many times when I pop into the Kung-Fu tea next door, so I finally decided to check them out since I was craving some pho. Walk in and the interior is the typical pho joint. Tile floors, cream colored walls, with simple wooden tables and basic chairs. My appetizer of goi cuong (summer roll) was pedestrian and more lettuce than vermicelli rice noodle or other herbs. One shrimp was sliced in half and stuffed into the rice paper roll. Okay enough, nothing special. To use a bad Dad Joke pun here, the noodle soup was "pho-gettable". Any longtime pho junkie will tell you that when it comes to this dish, it's all about the broth, and the broth here was overly salty and lacked any real flavor. No notes of star anise, no ginger, no garlic - just a heavy MSG feel and overly clear broth. I will give them one extra star because at least the portion size was appropriate. Increasingly, pho restaurants are just providing a few slices of meat, loading up on the noodles, and then calling that a "large" bowl while charging consumer $12. This bowl had plentiful cuts of tendon, brisket, and other beef cuts. Noodles were prepared correctly - not over boiled and not overly gloppy. My FAVORITE pho in NoVA is Pho Hoang (https://www.yelp.com/biz/pho-hoang-centreville?osq=pho&sort_by=date_desc), but it is a real pain to get too since it's located out in the hinterlands of Centreville. Lesson learned for me; sometimes you have to travel if you want good pho.

I got some carry out special pho anh duong and it was pretty delicious! The noodles were definitely the stand out star. The noodles had a slight rice sweetness to them. The meat was also very tender and delicious. I will definitely try them again!

My friend ordered these for us on a particularly snowy day. I love banh mi and was excited for the order. However, the meat was too dry and the vegetables didn't seem too fresh. Quite disappointing since the sandwiches looked good otherwise. Very filling though! Just expected more flavor!

I had a lunch with my manager at this place. I always walked by when heading to H mart, but never thought about trying the food. They had the lunch combo menu, so we ordered that one. It came with a large pho bowl, a choice of spring/summer rolls, and a soft drink. First of all, I want to talk about the portion. It was HUGE!! There was a lot of noodles and meats too! I could not even finish the whole bowl!! Not just the portion, but the taste was pretty tasty too!! Just the sauce for summer roll was not what I expected, but other than that, it was a great experience! I will definitely come back!!

Large #18 and a tasty glass of iced coffee.

I was at HMart buying all the honey mangoes, and decided I'd give this Vietnamese restaurant a try (I had a hankering for pho.) Y'all, who knew you could get a REALLY great bowl for less than $10 in KOREATOWN?? The pho broth is delicious. Enough salt, spices, and beefy goodness in the broth, good amount of meats, for less than $10!!! The only meh bit is that the noodles are all in a clump at the bottom of the bowl, but that's a negligible complaint. The broth, dudes, the broth!!! I drank most of it down it was that good. I do wish they were more generous with the basil. It's not like they'll run out - HMart is right next door for more. Get their iced coffee - it's really great and almost caramelly in flavor.

Great. The owner deleted his comment on my review so you guys can't see it. I should've screenshot it. UPDATE (again.. getting sick and tired of this): To the owner.. "I was asking (about changing your star *he deleted this part) because..." None of you business owners should be messaging us asking us to alter our reviews. I already said I was disappointed in the soup and rolls. I stick by that. I'm not gonna message you again. Just stop already. - - - - - - - - - - In response to the owner's comment: "If you can please change your star..." I am sorry sir, but that is not allowed on Yelp. All Yelpers have been told to not change our ratings/stars in exchange for free stuff/services as it is dishonest. Though I really admire how much you care about your business and how hard your employees work to ensure everyone enjoys your food, I unfortunately cannot and will not change my rating just because you ask me to. I only change ratings if the food or service is worse/better than the last time I went. I do not take bribes. I do not lie in my reviews. I write about my true experiences. - - - - - - - - - - - - This place was kind of nice inside, mainly because of the pretty chandelier above. It's also kind of spacious inside and not cramped like a lot of the restaurants in Arlington. I remember getting some noodle soup, fried spring rolls, and summer rolls to-go from here. All I remember is being slightly disappointed with the soup and spring rolls, but loving the fried spring rolls lol. I think the soup had a bit of sweetness to it that I wasn't used to, and the spring rolls were a bit lacking in substance. The rolls weren't as packed with vegetables and meat as I am used to. They felt a bit hollow. There was also some protein inside that I wasn't a fan of. Idk if it was fried tofu or what but it was different from what I'm used to. I was expecting shrimp inside but I don't remember eating much of it with the rolls. I need to emphasize the parts where I said I WASN'T a fan of the rolls and was disappointed by BOTH the soup and spring rolls. Even if I ordered the wrong rolls, the fact still remains... I did NOT like the taste of the soup or the spring rolls. I was going to give this place another try but the owner makes me want to stay away.

My little sis and I decided to grab Pho while in the area and I was excited to use the Yelp Check-in coupon. Little did I know that the shop doesn't accept it (it's marked to be valid for certain dates in August) and also cannot remove it from the app... After I got over that disappointment, we decided to order. For the appetizer, we spilt an order of the shrimp roll with peanut sauce. I loved how the cool ingredients tasted and the shrimp was prepared to perfection! Against my sister's advise I went for the beef meatball pho... the meat was tender, but lacked flavor and had tendons, so it was unappealing. The noodles were very tasty as were the fixings (basil leaves, limes, sprouts), all fresh. My sister really enjoyed her beef steak pho and shared none of the complaints I had. I was surprised how spacious the restaurant was inside and it was also decorated very well!

Solid place and pretty reasonably priced. I think the broth is very flavorful and great for hangovers!

Had a veggie Pho and it was very good. As a take out order the toppings were separated so they did not get soggy.

I recently went for my one year visit, and ordered their Crispy Chicken Wings, Pho Deluxe (for myself), Pho Combination #1 (for my fiance), Chicken Young Eggs + Intestines, Salted Lemonade and a regular lemonade. They now serve their pho in this food test which I thought was so cute but it didn't take up alot of table space. -Crispy Chicken Wings - 5/5 : fried to order, fresh, super hot and extra crispy. -Pho Deluxe: 4/5 : basically the combination + a short rib; definitely not worth the extra money. -Pho Combo #1 : its good but not the best; def not worth the price. -Chicken Young Eggs + Intestines: 6/5 - I love young chicken eggs and intestines, I wish every pho shop had this on their menu. -Salted Lemonade: 5/5 - I love salted lemonade- I kept adding water so it lasted longer LOL -Regular Lemonade: 5/5 - very good and refreshing --Additionally, I ordered vinegared onions and green onions in oil. The vinegar onions were ok; the green onions were ok as well. I asked for green onions in oil but received green onions in regular broth. It just didnt hit the same as "in oil" since it wasnt as fatty. Service was good and the ambiance was nice. The restaurant is pretty big with plenty of seats. Theres a shared parking lot with the other stores and a few handicapped parking right out front.

We tried A&J and liked it a lot!…read more This is not a typical Chinese-American restaurant. A&J has quite a few pleasantly unexpected dishes. Service was welcoming and efficient. On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.
