This spot is so close to my house. I went once in highschool didn't know what to order and never came back. Now that my latest fixation is Thai I came back to give it a try. I started off with some fried tofu, tbh it needed much more crunch, I think the coating is rice paper and it had more of a mochi texture. Papaya salad was delicious. Next I had what was possibly the best pad Thai I've ever had. Noodles weren't to overcooked like most places. Lots of crunchy veggies for texture and succulent fresh shrimp. A decent portion too! I was so happy with it I ordered twice in one week. My friend got fried rice which was also very good. Will def be back! I appreciate how they've changed the decor since the last time I came a lot more open.

I came here with my fiancé to celebrate my 47th birthday and of course it did not disappoint. The food was spectacular and the service was great. The ambiance was nice, considering it was the afternoon on a Wednesday. We ate so much and still went home with a doggy bag. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try some amazing Thai cuisine. Two thumbs up

I haven't been here in a while but when my friend suggested it for lunch, I happily said yes! He ordered the chicken pad thai which he loved. I ordered the shrimp in blanket, the Bangkok drumsticks and a Patty roll, which is two rolls in one. Everything was great and I had leftovers to enjoy later. The owner saw that my friend had on a UM sweatshirt so he put the game on for us! I thought that was really nice of him. They include 18% service charge in the bill so take note.

Truly a hole in the wall mom & pop place! The food came out quickly and service was super attentive. A plus is that they played Monday night football! The chicken satay were delicious and the presentation was so cool. The pho was different than what I'm used to, heavy on the garlic - still pretty good.

I think I got this restaurant confused with another restaurant I typically order from. Needless to say, I have never seen congealed sushi rice, not even when I've bought my sushi from the Publix sushi bar in a pinch I tried on two different occasions a to eat this throughout the day and ended up throwing it out.

The Thai food is pretty decent here. The service is prompt but they are more of a take out restaurant. They have a nice variety of sushi rolls as well. I really like their rice less rolls.

With that name for a Thai restaurant, we had to visit for the experience, for lunch in August. Thai cuisine for us is food we love to eat, as much as our spicy Sri Lankan dishes! Therefore when we sit down at any restaurant, regardless of type of ethnic cuisine, with each bite, there is that recollection of previous experience of that exact cuisine and how that experience made us feel. Bangkok Bangkok on North Kendall Drive is listed as the Best Thai Restaurant in Miami, as advertised on their website. Therein itself is the best reason to visit. Is it the best Thai restaurant for flavor and spice? Is it the best Thai restaurant for service? Meanwhile BB serves delicious Japanese food from famous Kanisu, stir fry noodles to Sushi and Sashimi. BB has creative titles for their many dishes such as London Golden Bridge, Earth, Wind, & Fire II and Neptune's Nemesis and you will find yourself at odds on what to order. Our highlight Little Big Man (fresh fish fried until the outside of the fish is crispy and the inside soft, glazed in fiery chili sauce) was perfect. The Egg fried rice lunch special was bland, not spicy and generous serving of Pad Thai Chicken lunch special works well with the rice and pad Thai combo. As we are used to authentic "spicy" food, we had to ask for additional strong spices since the what we ordered lacked in spice. Though the food met most of our expectations, we were not too thrilled about level of service, at our lunch. The engagement was limited and our sided. When the site advertises as the Best Thai Restaurant in Miami please make sure service is also the best for Thai Restaurants in Miami. Taking into consideration that a service gratuity of 18% is added onto the total, even for small group three persons for lunch. Make sure that service is spot on, top notch. As good as the food is at BB, not sure we will return!

My Wife and I love Thai. It has been a struggle to find an authentic Thai restaurant in Miami. We decided to try this restaurant as were waiting for an appt to get our nails done. We were greeted upon entering the restaurant possible about 10 tables inside and a few tables for outside seating as well. There is a small sushi bar. They had a separate wine and drink menu. And they even had a drink of the day, plum wine something. We didn't get it but it looked delicious. My wife got Pad Kee mo pork the true name for drunken noodle. I got my usual favorite panang curry with chicken. And of course we got Thai teas to wash it all down. The food and tea was delicious it is the best Thai we have found in the west Kendall area. Hell my wife even said she would come back here and she is a harsh critic.

Amazing food and drinks, only downside is the 18% service fee included, but other than that, everything was amazing although our food took longer than everyone and we got there before it was still good. We got Chicken Satay Bangkok Bangkok fried rice Chicken pad thai

Then there's the other end of the spectrum -- the kind of restaurant that reminds you why sushi can feel less like dinner and more like art, hospitality, and therapy in one sitting. Uchiko Miami sits firmly in that category. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese warmth. It feels refined without being cold, stylish without trying too hard, and intimate without feeling small. Every detail seems intentional. The food was exceptional, but what elevated the night was the experience around it. The fish was clean, precise, and beautifully handled. Every bite had that rare quality where you pause for a second because you don't want to rush past it. The flavors were layered, balanced, and surprising in the best way. The service was just as memorable. The staff were welcoming from the start, and my server turned the evening into something personal. I ordered what I came for, but kept being gifted thoughtful additions that made the meal feel curated rather than transactional. It is rare to feel both spoiled and completely at ease, but that is exactly what happened. Uchiko did not just satisfy a sushi craving. It reset the bar. This was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about when you can come back.

My wife and I arrived at 6:15 PM for happy hour, but our server didn't come to the table for about 10 minutes. When they finally arrived, we were told happy hour was over and we could not order any happy hour items. I spoke with the manager and explained that we had arrived before the cutoff and only missed it because nobody came to our table. While I understand having rules, I was surprised they wouldn't even honor a happy hour drink for my wife and me given the circumstances. The issue wasn't the discount--it was the lack of flexibility and customer service. After being told there was nothing they could do, we decided to leave. Still a great restaurant with excellent food, but this was a disappointing experience.

I could not…read morefollow that rule with Kuffo though...this restaurant is simply too good to not return again and again. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandma. How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in. Often. kuffo is that good!

Not only was the food outstanding at Kuffo, but the service was also exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's cozy and cute ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a nice chill dinner or lunch.

Beautiful people dressed to the nines, a few couples and a few who were obviously tourists. Great start! The highlights included the dumplings, truffle fries and Snapper. I am a French fry purist, but these changed my mind! I would skip the tuna with caviar over rice appetizer. This one hurt as it was highly recommended by our server. The proportion is just wrong. The mushrooms as a main side were also rather pedestrian. I know we had multiple desserts, but I can't remember them. A big plus for me is that we were rooftop, but it is fully enclosed.
