A7. Gi Cun Tht Nng - grilled pork spring rolls

I only tried three items -- the pho, their BBQ pork spring rolls, and a Vietnamese coffee -- and all three were better than most places I've been. The pho broth was especially impressive; the flavor is rich and balanced, with the star anise really shining through. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, and the Vietnamese coffee was spot-on. The ambiance was pleasant, the service was great, and overall it was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back and encourage you to give it a try. Happy eating!!

We called ahead to make sure Pho Khang had a vegetarian broth (another local place didn't.) The owner answered and said, "Yes! We have the best vegetarian broth in Denver!" Well, he was right! The broth was delicious, but a little too salty. The price was high too, comparable to the cost of their meat pho. But the service was fast and friendly, and the place had a good vibe. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area. Thank you!

Liked coming here .... The pho was delicious , had amazing taste to it .. the shrimp rolls were a great size. The sauce maybe needed more of something. The staff was super nice and helped where needed. And the location is right across Park Meadows Mall and had plenty of seating and a bar.

I was craving something for my stomach and needed something quick. Instead of getting a coffee I asked Henry for a cup of broth. He gave it to me in a coffee cup and it was absolutely delicious. Way better than a coffee. Thank you, Henry for your amazing service.

Pho Kang is a hidden gem right across the street from Park Meadows. We decided to give it a go and, omigosh, were we glad we did. The owner Henry welcomed us in really enthusiastically. The special noodle combination had some of the best spiced pork in town (according to da boss). I was a bit skeptical about the veggie noodle bowl because in some places it's kind of flavorless? Pho Kang's veggie noodle bowl was packed with flavor! And the taro boba smoothie? It had freshly made boba and was so yum that it hardly made it to my side of the booth. Lesson learned...next time order two.

Just found my new favorite noodle/bun bowl! The marinated/grilled shrimp was so tender and juicy, best shrimp I've ever had! Our server was kind and consistently checked in on us. Great location!

Did the dine instead of takeout and I actually think the meal I had for takeout was better. I had the combination noodle bowl and for some reason the fish sauce was lacking the kick it had the last time I had it. Also note that the combination noodle bowl only comes with one shrimp and no beef. The pork pieces were a bit fatty this go round. The 4 other diners all had Pho and they loved it. We tried the chicken wings which had a nice crunch but only a few had the chili sauce on them. Also had the shrimp spring rolls which I would rate as average. It seems like the prices at this place on the whole are more expensive than other Pho or Vietnamese places. I think all in all you should give it a try and see what you think.

The pork spring roll was good given that the pork was well marinated and tender. However, the peanut sauce was too watery and lacked flavor which made the spring roll a little bland overall. The pho came with an appropriate amount of noodle and meat, but the noodle was too hard. Service was quick. We were one of the first customers tho. The restaurant had a big dining area so good for large parties.

We came as a party of 6 and had to be split into 4-2 so be wary of that if you have a big party: Ordered the beef shank noodles and loved it. Noodles are house made and fresh. But walking in we were greeted in a timely fashion and being able to watch the noodles being made was awesome. Pros: large portions and friendly service. Even though it took maybe 15 minutes to get an order of steam dumplings, I can also understand that everything is made in house. We ordered the pork and cabbage steamed dumplings. Very good. I wanted to try the spicy wonton side dish. So next time. I ordered the beef and jalapeno dish. I loved it. The jalapeños weren't spicy but had a mild crunch to them. The beef was cooked really well. Had a light sauce on the bottom of the bowl that paired well with everything else. My husband ordered the Peking Wonton soup. The broth was light with a subtle taste that I couldn't identify. But it was a nice light broth. You could easily order half the menu since it's a small menu. Cons: I had to ask for our drinks, which our waiter forgot but did comp them. It was a diet coke and an unsweet ice tea. Service was a bit slower than I would have wanted. This is not a get in and out quickly restaurant. We did not see our waitress for more than half the time. But we did see other staff taking care of us. Recommended? Yes. Place is small and can fill up quickly. But the food was spot on as far as freshness of the vegetables and noodles. Staff is friendly. So those points make it a solid 4.

The chili sauce chicken dumplings were tasty -- a modification we requested off the menu. That said, the dumplings themselves reminded me a bit of Bibigo-style frozen dumplings in texture. The xiao long bao were decent, but I personally prefer the soup dumplings at Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings. The crab rangoons were a highlight and had actual crab meat, unlike many places that use imitation crab. The Thai pineapple chicken was too sweet and ended up being our least favorite dish. Drinks The Thai iced tea was refreshing. Vegetarian Options They do have vegetarian options on the menu. Service & Ambience Service was quick, and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Price Very reasonably priced Overall A good place to try dumplings with a few standout items, especially the crab rangoons.

I liked the people, the place, the menu, the location, but honestly I paid $30 for leftovers that I can't eat. It's a shame. I've never before seen anything this greasy. The owner came out to my car after I exited and asked why I didn't like it. While I respect that, he explained that what appeared as grease was instead, sauce, and that it was flash fried. The problem is that neither the sauce nor grease had taste or spice. When I placed several pieces of beef on a napkin, they saturated the napkin with oil. Maybe it's an oily sauce? They were generous with the beef. The beef quality was pretty good, and the vegetables were unique enough to merit praise. If it were me, I would ramp up the taste quotient in either the marinade or sauce, eliminate 90% of the oil, as it's unnecessary, and add spice. This could be a healthy dish if they used avocado oil, way less oil, and reduced the salt.

It ended up being so good that we came back a second time before leaving town! Everything we ordered was delicious. Over our two visits, we tried the HK lemon tea, HK milk tea, shrimp wonton noodle soup, beef brisket noodle soup, HK-style French toast, beef chow fun, salt and pepper wings, scrambled eggs with tomato, and egg shrimp noodles. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, and it really felt like authentic Hong Kong-style comfort food. The shrimp wonton noodle soup and beef brisket noodle soup were both excellent, with rich, flavorful broths and great textures. The beef chow fun was perfectly cooked, and the salt and pepper wings were crispy, well-seasoned, and hard to stop eating. The scrambled eggs with tomato was simple but comforting and well-balanced, and the egg shrimp noodles were another standout, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The HK lemon tea and milk tea were exactly what you'd hope for from a classic Hong Kong café. One of the highlights was the HK-style French toast. It was rich, indulgent, and incredibly filling, definitely something to share or save room for! As a nice surprise, the staff even brought us complimentary deep-fried buns served with a sweet condensed milk dipping sauce, which were absolutely delicious. The portions here are generous, and there were still so many menu items we wanted to try. We honestly wished we had been staying longer so we could come back again and work our way through more of the menu. Dinner service can get quite busy, and there may be a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, and welcoming hospitality, Hong Kong Station was one of the highlights of our trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

The food is good and priced well but the reason for this low rating is due to their dishonesty. I thought perhaps this was a one-off situation but I read another reviewer years ago experiencing the same thing. We were planning to pay and apparently, the 20% "gratuity" was already added for our family of 5. Then the server proceeds to ask how much we would like to tip on the screen, but something didn't add up. The total amount seemed like it was way above it should be including the tip and when we requested a printed receipt, another server had to come by. It felt like the older gentlemen was trying to double-dip by telling us that the tip wasn't added but clearly there was a gratuity already there. No apology or anything. We didn't even add the gratuity and it looks like the server automatically added it to our bill without us knowing. We didn't want to have any other issues so we just left paying for the 20% gratuity and decided that we won't be going there anymore. It makes me sad since this was our solid Pho spot in Denver but I cannot support an establishment that is dishonest. It only makes me wonder how many other customers they had done this to and if anyone else has caught them. I get it, cause often times, I don't even check the bill so I would say beware if you do go here. Look at your ITEMIZED receipt and check what you ordered.
