I think it's time that I appreciated a business that is a walking distance from house northeast DTC house. I've been to this restaurant numerous times in the past but have never thought to write about it so here it goes. I know this place doesn't have a solid 4-star rating. And it's quite spacious with a very simple design/layout. -Food I always order the same thing: Vietnamese egg rolls (6-pieces) as I'm fanatic about it. But not a single time have they disappointed me in any way. I actually go to this restaurant only to get them whenever I get a craving for delicious Vietnamese egg rolls. Let me start by saying I eat at many Pho places and what's amazing is that each is slightly different, seasonings, spices, cook style etc. I went here based on Google reviews, and it was good, but not my favorite. I had the passion fruit boba, which you can never go wrong with. Was perfect. I had the combo noodle bowl. The egg rolls were not as flavorful as I'm used to. The beef/chicken was dried out, which was strange since the shrimp was cooked perfectly! The spice/seasoning was somewhat bland in comparison to what I've had, and the fish sauce for the bowl was bland, too. This might just be done because the audience around this location prefers it. Personally, I wanted bold marinated meats and sauce that tasted like fish oil! It was good. I'd go back. it just wasn't what I'm used to. After driving down from boarding in Winter Park on this cold and snowy day, what better place to go than get a big bowl of Pho. My girls had never had Pho like this and was nervous, but that attitude changed real quickly when they saw the Crab Cheese Wontons and Pot Stickers come to the table. Devoured them right up and ordered the Spicy Rare Steak and Tripe Pho Beef rice noodles soup. Served with bean group, basil, lime and jalapeno and girls each got the bowls (one chicken, the other beef). The bowls came with rice noodles served with Eggroll, lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts, peanut and fish sauce. The plates of additional bean sprouts, limes, and Thai basil to give more flavor to a wonderful bowl of Pho. I was able to put down a medium bowl, but would have loved to have more that night, so next time going with the large! Service was great and there was only one other table for an early dinner. This place is wonderful, clean, food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend. read more

Pho real, this is my favorite neighborhood spot when it comes to good Pho! The ingredients are fresh, establishment is clean, and owner is super friendly. The first time I ordered food it was via the 'carry-out' option through this app. The owner informed me to call directly to save money especially when it wasn't delivery. We currently live in an age of convenience so naturally it seemed easier to order through the app, but ended up paying more so I appreciated the tip from the owner! I would highly recommend the spicy chicken pho, Vietnamese egg rolls, and just tried the Combo Fried Rice for the first time and it was delish! They have a pretty robust menu with options ranging from Pho to a Chicken & Egg plate (not sure what that is but I'm guessing it's probably really good ). Ordered the coconut curry with tofu and fried rice. No mention of spice level, and it came out incredibly hot; close to inedible. The majority of vegetables were onion and green onion. The fried rice was flavorless. A major pass. Also ordered was a rice noodle bowl. Not much here to mess with. Meat was cooked well, noodles were prepared correctly. The only odd thing was the intensely red shrimp that came with the dish. Not bad or anything, but I've never seen anything like them. This is a pretty good restaurant for not being on Federal Blvd. They cooked their pho broth well and the noodles were a good consistency. They also had pretty good spring rolls (goi cuon). I got a large size bowl, which was a good amount, I finished it and felt satisfied when I left. I liked how spacious the restaurant was on the inside, like they didn't feel the need to squeeze a table in every square feet, which most Viet restaurants try to do. With Katie R. constantly going on and on about pho, I decided it had been long enough since my last (and only) pho experience. So having frequented the last 2 Asian restaurants that were located here, I decided I might as well give Pho Bom a chance. I'm sure glad I did! I chose to nosh/sip on the regular size, well done brisket and flank. The broth was a great savory base for me to add some hosin sauce, sriracha, and a splash of soy. Then of course you have to thrown in some lime, tear up some Thai basil, and infuse with a jalapeno slice. I guess next time I should just try the spicy broth! It's served up with a heaping plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, limes, and jalapeno slices. The noodles were the perfect consistency, not too chewy, but not mushy. Not to mention the price was excellent for what you get. The regular size (at $8.95) def has enough to take for dinner or lunch the next day. Service was alright. Nothing amazing, but not bad by any means. My server was kind enough to pour up my leftovers for me. I suppose she could just see klutz written all over me.
