Pathetic...this is what they consider "lettuce wraps". Sadly, the often skimp on portions and give inferior product on their to-go orders.

Avoid to-go orders. The "lettuce wraps" were pathetic. A few scraps of lettuce and a cheap, leaky container for the meat. Truly deserving of zero stars.

V4. Noodle Soup with Vegetables and Tofu (vegan)
    Matt B.

Living in Vancouver, we're pretty spoiled by top-quality Vietnamese food, including excellent vegan pho options nowadays. Nevertheless, I felt like a bowl of pho and saw that this place has plenty of vegetarian options, many of which are vegan. I got their rice noodle + veggies / tofu soup ($13 plus tax), which came out in about 10 minutes. You get a big bowl of soup, with plenty of noodles, broccoli, what seemed like frozen veggies (carrot, peas), and some deep fried tofu. The broth was solid but simple, amped up nicely by their spicy chili oil. Friendly and quick service, and comfortable enough spot to dine in. Nothing special, but in LA, solid spot for vegan pho.

3.8 Stars First time visiting Shreveport to assist a friend relocating and we were told to try this place because it has very good Vietnamese food. First Impressions: Limited parking, but not bad for us at the time due to it being middle of the day during the week. Casual dining with an open seating arrangement. Cons: (The cons are only because I pay attention to little details)No ambient Vietnamese music playing to set the experience and transport us. I feel like eating out should be an experience and an opportunity to learn a bit of a culture. Bathroom is very small (One toilet room for male and one small for female) and had to go through a dark small hall to get to it. Soap leaking onto sink making it looked unkept. Too much ice in Thai Milk tea so I barely feel like I had enough for $8! However, the pros will keep me coming back... Pros: Excellent service. Very attentive, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable service. Food is some of the best Pad Thai I've ever had! Ordered the combination Pad Thai and it was amazing! The smokey fire taste from the Wok came through beautifully and everything was cooked to perfection. Just visiting but I would definitely return for the service and food.

The beef broth from the Pho is simply AMAZING. If I can just order the broth without the noodles, I would! The customer service , not so much , lol but who cares when the Pho is THAT good!

    Pork Bahn MI sandwich

One of my original go to spots for Pho but I recently tried the Banh Mi pork sandwich. It definitely is not what I'm used to from an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. . It had a zesty mayo like oyster sauce with very fresh vegetables spread throughout with a healthy portion of savory sautéed pork! *Turns out it was bacon! So of course it was very tasty and filling, but not authentic. I liked the tea, but their boba could use more structure, it's not as thick as normal boba. The waiter was very nice and switched out my tea with soy milk since I forgot to ask for non-dairy! I also tried the steamed potstickers. Satisfying yet, not too overwhelming with flavor. I'll stick with the Pho! That's mainly why I keep coming back!

P2. Pho with Round Eye Steak and Brisket

The Pho is absolutely great!!! I had the round steak and brisket once and brisket only the next time. Neither disappointed. It is clean and inviting! Also the outside aesthetics are appealing and inviting! The service was nice as well.

I don't know what's up with the 5 star because dining here did not give us a 5 star. They only serve tap water, which taste horrible and unsafe. They don't sell water bottles. The pho was ok, I've had way much better. I think it's the city or the area because I haven't been to a good Asian restaurant here. I don't mean any harm, I highly suggest this place to have water bottle instead of serving that nasty tap water. The spring roll was very cold and bland. I'm sorry, but I'm just being honest. I didn't even eat 50% of my pho.

I drove a long distance because I wanted to try this restaurant…read more After waiting for the host to seat me, I then waited over 10 minutes without anyone checking on me (no water, drink, apps, no server, no greeting, no suggestions). A group of four who entered after me--the same group I had held the door open for--were kindly greeted, asked if they had questions about the menu, and offered drinks and appetizers immediately. Other guests who came in after me also received friendly service. When the host finally came to my table, there was no greeting or welcome. He simply asked, "You know what you want?" Order a drink. My drink took several more minutes to come, and the interaction felt dismissive, as if he had an issue with me dining here. He returned with the drink and asked again, "do you know what you want or need some time". I proceeded to order an appetizer and ramen. After asking one question about my ramen order (no pork), and being stared down by the kitchen cooks, I realized I no longer felt comfortable staying. He (host) said "it is, the way that it is." I politely thanked the server, handed back the menu, and left. He said nothing and looked relieved. I spent my money at another restaurant nearby, where I was treated with kindness and respect from the moment I walked in (And they were extremely busy). I gladly left a 40% tip on a meal because her excellent service deserves recognition. I know what I personally observed, customers who arrived after me were welcomed warmly and served promptly, while I was Ignored and treated very poorly. I read on their social media, that the servers loved first time customers and were happy to make suggestions and substitutes proteins. If this isn't the case, their advertising is deceptive. This is not a place where every customer is valued. I do not recommend. Not a fun way to spend your Friday evening and certainly not a fun way to spend your money. Go somewhere else.

Pretty full Vietnamese menu and the place is fairly clean, though it's in a casino and so the crowds seem to come in waves. We were there on a Friday night before heading back home to Dallas the next morning. Price is pretty hefty at $23 for a bowl of pho, beef. Though it's a big bowl I just can't imagine the cost of beef and noodles in a soup would be that much. Again, we got a food credit so I didn't have to pay for it and left a $5 tip in their jar to say thanks. You order and pay first and then you can go sit down and wait until they call your name. Definitely had the faint whispers of that soulful soup that some pho places have, but to me a little overdone with scallions and white onions. Portion was pretty good, but the meat was a tad bit rubbery. They did have tripe which I absolutely love as well as the tendons so again it's ok to eat here, especially if it's on a food credit from gambling....where you probably spent more than the cost of the soup just to get the soup free....LOL

We also tried the soft-shell crab--it was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. One guest ordered the seafood combination dinner and said everything was well-cooked, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice that came with the seafood dinner was cooked very nicely with egg and great texture. Another had the orange chicken, and although there were several chili peppers in the sauce, it wasn't too spicy--just right. The orange flavor really came through, and everything was fried crisp, not soggy. I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix dinner (General Tso's chicken and shrimp with onion and ginger slices), and it was hands down the best General Tso's I've ever had. The shrimp were beautifully cooked, and I opted for lo mein instead of rice--it was fresh, lightly sauced, and not oily at all. This is not a buffet, and honestly, it felt like stepping back 40 years to when Chinese restaurants were more intimate, authentic, and personal. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the time from ordering to receiving our food was impressively quick. I highly recommend this hidden gem. They also offer sushi and a variety of lunch specials (we visited outside of lunch hours), and everything looked so good that I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.
