First off, the service was wonderful. They were very polite and answered any questions that we had. The FRIED DUMPLINGS were very well cooked, and the oil tasted quite fresh. The SHRIMP SPRING ROLLS, however, left much to be desired. We unfortunately had to finally break open the spring roll wrap and eat only the shrimp out of it. Way too many noodles and the wrap was so chewy you could barely eat it let alone enjoy it. The WATER BOTTLE is how they serve their water to their guests. The PHO WITH ROUND EYE STEAK AND SOFT TENDON was good. The broth was excellent. The vegetables very fresh. The eye was quite tough, and having soft tendon before, it wasn't soft and sweet as previous establishments have. There were hard pieces and it was quite chewy. As you can see from the pictures, they do not "fancy the plates" with decoration or garnish. Very plain. Overall, it was a good experience. Things have changed. First, they gave me 1pkg of hoison sauce and 1 PKG of Sriracha for 2 orders. I asked for another packet of each and was told there's an extra charge. I thanked her for the information and passed saying no thanks. Y'all know there are open bowls of such with unlimited access at the tables? Nevertheless, I felt like a bowl of pho and saw that this place has plenty of vegetarian options, many of which are vegan. I got their rice noodle + veggies / tofu soup ($13 plus tax), which came out in about 10 minutes. You get a big bowl of soup, with plenty of noodles, broccoli, what seemed like frozen veggies (carrot, peas), and some deep fried tofu. One of my original go to spots for Pho but I recently tried the Banh Mi pork sandwich. It definitely is not what I'm used to from an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. . It had a zesty mayo like oyster sauce with very fresh vegetables spread throughout with a healthy portion of savory sautéed pork! *Turns out it was bacon! So of course it was very tasty and filling, but not authentic. I liked the tea, but their boba could use more structure, it's not as thick as normal boba. The waiter was very nice and switched out my tea with soy milk since I forgot to ask for non-dairy! I also tried the steamed potstickers. Satisfying yet, not too overwhelming with flavor. No. No. A thousand times no. This used to be one of my faves. Was a great place to go for noodles and Pho. WAS. Tonight, we were horrified at how this place has gone down. We actually thought maybe we were on a hidden camera show. It was that bad. First, we watched the waitress sit at a table, eating egg rolls and licking her fingers between serving food (and not washing her hands). The floors, the walls, the booths all were absolutely filthy. However when I lived up here, this was a great option for lunch or dinner. You could get Boba in addition the pho and noodle dishes. Incredible! Courteous and attentive waitstaff, short turnaround from order to meal and wonderful food. I had pho seafood and it was simply wonderful. Lots of noodles in a tasty broth with big chunks of crab and shrimp. Vegetables and lime on the side. And my first try ever of a boba tea--watermelon. I was hooked. Not too sweet, but full of flavor and all those tapioca pearls were a lot of fun. Our sweet waitress made sure everything was just right, and when she noticed something was wrong, took care of it immediately. She even spent some time talking and getting to know us. I am not sure when is the next time I will be able to get back to Shreveport, but I guarantee even if I am just passing through, I will be stopping back here for a big wonderful bowl of soup and boba! read more

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in SHV. It's a little place but they have a grouping of decent sized tables to fit people in. Our server was great! He provided ahead of time and made excellent suggestions. I ordered the spring rolls with pork and shrimp, HIGHLY recommend these bad boys, full of flavor and a great servicing size. I personally add a little Siracha to the peanut sauce for a kick. I also got the pork banh mi and was very impressed. The pork was nice and salty mixed with fresh veg and spicy jalapeños, the bun was crisped to perfection with just the right amount of mayo. My boyfriend order the Pho with round eye, brisket and meatballs, the broth was excellent and the fresh veg for the topping were good. 10/10 recommend this place and will be back for more :) read more

Was very disappointed and very disgusted. I ordered the most popular dish and could not finish eating because there was a baby COCK ROACH in my Beef Pho Bowl. The waitress was clearly not surprised and when she took the dish back she said to her coworker that if you hear me yelling in Spanish she's going off on the cooks. Clearly it's not a cook problem it is a pest problem. It requires pest control. We clearly could not finish our food however I did eat the appetizer and did not complain that they over cooked shrimp and pork eggrolls. They were burnt on one side. Their resolution was they took that dish off the bill however 10% on the rest of the ticket. The soup was clearly contaminated and they were serving it. I ordered the P7 in a large and it was good, but broth lacked the flavor I was craving. The rice noodles were tasty and my favorite meat was the meatballs. Some of the meat (fatty brisket?) didn't taste good. The portion for a medium was still pretty small. Overall I've had better pho. I got the grilled pork and shrimp spring rolls and I was not impressed. The grilled pork is not grilled, and it's evident that they made these rolls in the morning because it was hard. I didn't enjoy it sadly although I was looking forward to it. The service is very slow here. Only 2 guys working and they do try their best, but I think it'd be much better with a 3rd hand. Fortunately pho is quick so I got my order within 10 minutes. However I saw a poor guy wait for his 1 strawberry boba smoothie for at least 15 minutes... It was cold and I went in to have some pho. It was during the non busy hours and service was quite prompt. The service was good. The food was mediocre. There are only two pho sizes. Small and regular. The noodles are cooked fresh, meaning it'a not all clumped together when you stick your chopsticks through it. The meat portions are small, meaning a little amount and portions are small cut. It did the job to warm me up and have some pho in me, but nothing to brag about. I had a cafe sua da and it wasn't a real drip coffee in condensed milk. It was premade and poured into a cup of ice. For 6 dollars...
