I heard from my wife that Pho Lee Hoa Phat 6 are the same guys from the one in Pleasant Hill, which by far has the best Beef Stew ever. If that is the case Pho Lee 6 is a little bit closer to home. So we went here and tried it out. Of course I had to order their Beef Stew in egg noodles. The kids had their usual pho and we had Spring Rolls, Shimp cake, and Grilled Beef roll for appetizers. The Beef stew was legit. It is very good with rich flavor; full of beef morsels and proper egg noodles. I still feel that the original loaction in Pleasant Hill just slightly edge out this location. Smoothies are great here as well since they're made with real fruit, makes such a difference versus a number of places using powders. I love pho and this place is great to dine-in or for takeout. I prefer dine-in so I don't have to wait til I get home, but hey, it's an option. We order the fresh rolls with shrimp only, it usually comes with pork too, but there's a different in the taste when both or rolled together. Try it and let me know your thoughts. The #17 (think sliced teak) is what we order on the regular - soup is always hot, I like to tell them to keep the meat on the side and I place it in my bowl myself one at a time. But if you like them throwing it all in for you in a stack, thats cool too, it's all preference. The fresh basil, sprouts, cilantro, also gets tossed into my bowl with a quick squeeze of lime. Then topping it off with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce to make it perfect. Yummmm now I want to get pho again.
