Sat down on my own, and someone handed me a menu and an iced water. It was several minutes before someone took my order. The lady who does orders also rings up people and handles to gos. My dessert came first. And when my spring rolls came, 2 tables that sat way after me got their food before me. The spring rolls were really good and filling. I switched out the peanut sauce with fish sauce.

Fast seating. Fast service. However, the broth was very bland and meat was very hard to eat as it was very hard. I also seen a worker that was working near the cashier/ to go orders pick her nose and that was disturbing for me. Tried the Thai tea and it was very sweet, tried the milk tea with boba and milk tea was missing the flavor. The spring rolls are really good though!

This place is a Pittsburg classic! Pho here is always so good and well prepared. The service is fast and everything is always really clean. I moved out of pitt but I will always come eat here if I'm in town.

I heard from my wife that Pho Lee Hoa Phat 6 are the same guys from the one in Pleasant Hill, which by far has the best Beef Stew ever. If that is the case Pho Lee 6 is a little bit closer to home. So we went here and tried it out. Of course I had to order their Beef Stew in egg noodles. The kids had their usual pho and we had Spring Rolls, Shimp cake, and Grilled Beef roll for appetizers. The Beef stew was legit. It is very good with rich flavor; full of beef morsels and proper egg noodles. I still feel that the original loaction in Pleasant Hill just slightly edge out this location. On the other hand, the Grille Beef rolls were fantastic. Beautiful pieces of Vietnamese sausage along with crunchy fried paper is so good. My wife loved Pho Lee 6 because of their exellent spring rolls and I do concur.

Restaurant is typical for a pho spot. Clean floor and bathroom which is something I do consider. Service was average, nothing great but not terrible either. Food was actually pretty good except for egg rolls, I was not a fan, none at the table liked them. Pho was really good, broth was flavorful and not too greasy. I loved the spring rolls, we did the bbq pork and they were fresh, flavorful, and the wrapper was not thick or sticky. And they did give ample peanut sauce, yummy. There is a kids pho which is nice. There are different kinds of drinks and boba offerings which are a nice treat at the end of a big meal.

Before walking in restaurant, there were lion sculptures outside. The pho was good on a cold day.

Their posted hours on the door as well as on Yelp say that they are open until 9 PM. When I walked in, there was no worker to be found. A young man emerged, and he looked confused. I asked what time they were open until. He said 9 PM. It seemed like he finally realized that I wanted to eat, and he tried to take my order to go, although he didn't give me a menu. I asked if I could be seated and get a menu. He awkwardly said OK. After I sat down, he came over and said that the cook might leave early, and that I might want to hurry up and order. I politely excused myself and said that I would come back another time. I then drove to another nearby restaurant that also is open till 9 PM. I didn't get there until 9:35 PM, but they served me and were very pleasant, and I had a great dinner. I don't understand why a business would post their hours and then not abide by them.

The place itself looks nice on the inside and has a nice aesthetic but the customers can get a little rowdy sometimes. All in all, it was a very solid experience.

There is a lot of parking since it is in the Safeway shopping center in Downton PH. We were sat right away and looking at the menu, a lot of the dishes felt more modern than traditional (when I compare it to other Vietnamese restaurants I go to). Decided to go with my comfort dish, which is Grilled Pork Rice Plate. Grilled Pork Rice Plate: I opted for brown rice for a healthier approach. The pork was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was also not dry and had a good amount of flavor to it. It sat on a bed of lettuce, which gave it a nice presentation. Overall, a simple dish which I thoroughly enjoyed and had leftovers after. I had a great time eating lunch with my parents and my partner. I look forward to coming here again.

For appetizers, we tried their crispy rolls. The husband couldn't eat these because they had some shrimp in them, but more for the kids and me. Came with a side of fish sauce, and overall was pretty tasty. My son isn't too big on pho, so he tried a pork chop plate and the garlic noodles. He said both were good. He ate it all, so actions match his words there. My daughter mentioned the chicken pho she had contained a lot of chicken and she likes it that way. She also noticed the better quality of meat and bigger portions. Their special pho is an XL size and comes with the shortrib on the bone. I need to come back here very hungry to devour that or at least split that and other stuff with a friend. I've had their other beef pho, and they were good. Def good quality beef. There was a time where I wanted a certain combo without the meatballs and requested they added more of their tendon and tripe instead, but it seems they just took out the meatballs since there were just a couple pieces of tendon in there. The noodles really cooked within the broth. It was interesting since the broth didn't feel too hot as I was able to eat / drink it right away, but the noodles ended up much softer than I'd like. Casual setting here with the tables, cashier, some TV on the walls, etc.

But this place right here is on point! I've tried their food a couple times and it was really delicious. So I decided to come visit in person. Their Soups/Ramens are super flavorful and delicious. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked veggies & noodles. I was really craving a good green tea because it was cold. They had a really good Jasmine Tea that was so robust in flavor. The steamed dumplings are really good too! There was nobody inside sitting at tables, which made me a little nervous at first. But I noticed they were getting a lot of DoorDash Orders and Phone Orders. The restaraunt itself is really beautiful inside and very clean. I know some yelpers have complained about parking. But it's really not that bad. Even if you did had to park down the street, this place is worth it. Bathrooms are clean as well. Service was slightly slow, but we didn't mind at all. Because we could tell it was a family run business, with very few people working in back. Ming was a really nice gentleman. He was handling a lot of things at once. But he was on top of everything and super friendly. 15% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. But I didn't mind because the prices were fairly reasonable for the quantity & quality of food. I ended up paying an extra tip because they were so amazing. This place gives you a feeling of comfort food. Great ambiance and great milk teas as well. I really hope this place gets a lot of business because it is definitely a hidden gem. I will be back more frequently. Hopefully with a lot more of my family members. The portions at dinner are huge and great if you have a big family. The lunch specials are a great value and they have a nice variety of lunch items to choose from. I like the Kung Pao Chicken and the fried rice. Very delicious! It would be so nice if they offered dinner specials for single diners. When I ordered dinner the other night it really was overpriced for one person. I didn't like the Mushu at all. Why did they add hoisin to the Mushu itself? ***Yuck!!!!***That's supposed to be a sweet condiment on the side of a savory dish and it wasn't at all yummy having it included inside. I wanted the usual contrasting flavors. Also; the Salt Pepper Tofu had a little too much baking soda in the crust and an off flavor, and I do rideshare, so the huge portions are wasted on me because taking food to go isn't even an option for me. I am giving 4 stars, because I had a 5 star exleriences and 3 star experiences here. They really need to offer plates to single diners at night instead of trying to make us purchase more food than we need, which is particularly disappointing when food quality isn't there. Uncle Wangs is my go-to restaurant when I am in Pittsburgh! Most of their food is top-notch and they have good service. They should also really consider turning down the volume of the to-go order bell.
