I went back to Ramentica and tried the "Seafood Ramen". It was delicious. The broth was more reminiscent of a Chinese soup but whatever it was, it was very good. The hot tea was good as well. The tea cup was hot to the touch because of the tea heating it up, which caught me by surprise. The ambience is not amazing but it doesn't bother me at all. The service was perfectly fine. Really love this place! Their Ramens and Popcorn Chicken are delicious! Boba is really tasty as well and nicely packaged. Wasn't too found of their chow mein though. It wasn't horrible, it just needed to be more flavorful and the beef needed to be more tender. Overall this is one of my favorite spots to go in Pittsburg. It's very clean, and the family that owns the restaraunt are very nice people. I love supporting local family run businesses. This was my first time trying this type of cuisine. I ordered the vegetable Ramen it was plentyful and tastes good. I also ordered the teriyaki chicken combo. It also was great and both of them were good portions. I couldn't eat half of the baby gone she got that baby my food. My food was delivered so I cannot tell you about the ambience or the service but one thing for sure. The vegetables were good. Not over or undercooked. They were just right. Food - 2/5 Takoyaki - 1/5 not even close to a real takoyaki. Super bland. It is like eating a fried flour Shrimp Tempura - 1/5 battered so thick and bland. They came put hot which is good but really bland. The sauce is good Beef Teriyaki - 2/5 beef is tender which has a lot of onions. Teriyaki sauce and veggies are cold when they served it. Rice is ok Tonkatsu Ramen - 3/5 Pork is very tender noodles is firm egg is overcooked however the broth itself is lacking depth. Not rich enough and lacks of flavor, it is on a bland side as well, the garlic spicy sauce on the side is a good condiment to add it up. Caught up with a friend here yesterday for an early dinner. There was plenty of parking outside. We felt so welcomed coming in and there was quite a bit of space inside. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen whilst my friend ordered the BBQ Pork Belly Fried Rice. Well portioned. We both enjoyed the meal & our server was very attentive & kind. The Tonkotsu broth was so rich and the pork was cooked nicely. The broth did need a touch more flavor but it was something I could ignore. Overall I thought it was delicious! I was able to try some of the fried rice and I had no issues with it. I liked the slight crisp of the pork belly. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie with coconut jelly after the meal and it was a bit too sweet for my liking, next time I would probably lower the sweetness to 50%. First time trying this place as I saw they had decent reviews. Somone posted a picture of the chicken katsu and it looked good so, I decided to give it a shot. It was $14 after taxes and the amount of food you got didn't seem worth that amount. The chicken itself was dry, but it was breaded nicely I wish it just had a bit more flavor. It came with steamed rice and veggies were typical. The katsu sauce that came with it was gross. I really don't know if it was truly katsu sauce as I have never had a katsu sauce taste like this. It was very vinegary. My friend tasted it and said it tasted more like teriyaki. I still don't know what teriyaki sauce tastes like that. Where the restaurant is located is in a tiny strip mall with a weird entrance. At first, I couldn't find the place and realized that it shares building space with a massage parlor. I am a regular here so I am surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. This resrestaurant is located in pittsburg ca next to lutong bahay and another local Chinese restaurant. All of them are family owned. The kids hangout at each of the three restaurants. As a pittsburg local, this is one of my favorite places to eat in our small town. The ramen is alot better than ramen 101. The pork in the tokontsu is very soft. There is only 1 person who takes the orders every time I am here. She has amazing customer service. She remembers all my past orders. She packed my leftovers once when I was one phone with someone the food always comes out fast. They have good fruit tea as well. I was recommended to try this place from one of my supervisors. I called to order a Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen for pick up but when I got there I received the Chili Beef Ramen. I tried calling so i would be able to use the Yelp 15% discount for checking in, however I was informed they didn't honor that and they had no idea why it was posted. The directions lead you to this back parking lot that looks like it's the wrong place. There's a sign that leads you to a hallway door, where you can see an open door shortly after entering. The open door to the restaurant is blocked by a table with a sign about picking up orders, so I assume this place is only a to- go spot. You have to ask for utensils and napkins The food is pretty good; they separate the noodles/toppings from the broth. The noodles are nothing special but the broth is rich and adequately spicy (and I like spicy foods). I had the Tonkotsu ramen and I think it's the best ramen I had so far around the Bay Area! It's super simple but packed with so much flavor! The price is also very reasonable. The place is small and family owned. The service is great; they are very attentive. I read a few reviews before and was excited to try their chili oil beef ramen, the bf got the classic tonkatsu ramen. We ordered potstickers to share- crispy and hot, definitely fresh and home made- plus! I was a little afraid the chili oil would be a bit too hot, it wasn't, but the spice kind of overtook the flavor for me. Also, the beef was a little tough. I appreciate that they returned my call and was able to resolve the situation. I am happy and can say that I will be back! :D I typically order Ramentica on a consistent basis. The food is consistently great. However I placed a recent order of $75 and the wait time was approximately 40 minutes. When I arrived my order wasn't ready and I waited an additional 20-25 minutes. When I got home, our two orders of shrimp fried rice were burnt and the chicken skewers were overcooked. Although I called the following day to make the complaint, they weren't helpful. As a customer that placed an order frequently, I won't be going there any longer. read more

I found this place through yelp last week knowing that I was going to be in the area, so I made sure that I had to stop by before I left. The one dish that I wanted to try was the Mystery Noodles because of the name of the dish. It was really good. The noodles were warm while the meat was a minced spicy cold beef/pork. The warm/cold combo was a new and great experience. There was a marinated boiled egg on top too. The takoyaki was worth it. You get a whole bunch of them for around $6. The orange sauce on top went well with the takoyaki. The skewers were a cheap appetizer. You can easily get full off of 4 of them (each $1.25). The beef and pork belly skewers were our favorite. The chicken ramen was a little bland. If you add the chili oil, it tastes a little better. The noodles were great; it was just the broth that was a little lacking. Overall I would come back here for sure. The service was great and attentive. They gave us fruit at the end of our meal. It looked like a family owned business, so you can tell they all really care about their customers. TLDR : dishes I recommend are Mystery Noodles (spicy), Takoyaki, and skewers. read more
