Absolutely not. I ordered on Uber Eats and the arrival time was pretty fast but the food arrived somewhat cold. Honey walnut prawns are always my go to when ordering Chinese takeout and the vegetable spring rolls and BOTH had a really weird taste. The best I could describe it was like deep frying them in old oil and I'm never one to complain about food taste so much but wow I didn't even finish one shrimp and escalated it to uber support. I hate wasting food but it went immediately in the trash! The fried rice and chow mein were fine and we also ordered the roasted duck, which was good but barely any meat on it so that's another deducted star. I was craving chow fun but don't know any places out in Pittsburg so I decided to give them a try . I called my order in . They have a parking lot . Inside was big had enough seating from what I could see . I got combination chow main extra green onion . Shrimp and chicken chow fun extra green onions . Hot and sour soup medium and cheese puffs . I even pulled up before it was finished and reminded them of the extra green onion and they said okay and charged me for it . Everything was so disappointing! I kid you not ! First of all combo chow main had no color no flavor barely any veggies just oily bland noodles and chicken n shrimp . The chow fun noodles were way bigger than I'm used to . Clumped together and also lacked any flavor ! The cheese puffs filling was lumpy and gross and cold . The hot and sour soup was decent lacked a lot of that tangy flavor ! For my sisters' birthdays, I really wanted to treat them to a nice lunch. They wanted roast duck so we went to Wah Sing for the first and last time. Do not serve old dried up roast duck to anyone much less a bunch of Chinese people. They should've said, "sorry, we sold out." What a waste of $18!!! The food is disgusting! If I had known beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered from this place. The nonexistent salt and pepper shrimp, was burnt flavorless and overcooked. I ordered Pork Chow Fun to go at the restaurant. I should have believed the previous Yelp reviews. The noodles were very wide (about 1 1/2 inches), not very flavorful at all. Service was fine. I placed a to go order. I spend about $57 for the everything; which was- wontons, garlic chicken, vegetable fried rice, combination chow fun, Taro slush and Thai milk tea. Since I have some dietary restrictions around food, I wanted to try the garlic chicken; but let me tell you- I did not like the flavor or texture at all. I wish I would had seen a picture of the dish in the menu, that would had helped in making my choice of food items. This dish had a very slimy sauce, and nobody else in my household liked it neither. We all enjoyed the fried rice (it had a good taste). The wontons I was told they were good (I did not try this since I can't have gluten) the combination chow fun I was told it had a good taste as well. As far as the drinks- the taro slush was good; but the Thai milk tea was very water down. I like Thai milk tea but this one was not creamy at all, it was missing that Thai tea taste and had no sweetness to it, lastly we didn't end up getting any utensils with our order- luckily we took this home but those are essential items that I believe must be included in every to go order. The location has plenty of parking (that's a plus), the restaurant was pretty empty, but I did noticed about 3 people picking up orders. Ordered a hundred worth of food on this restaurant last night. Two orders of roasted duck worth $38, chow mien, lemon chicken , and stir dry vegs. You can't eat the roast duck coz it's very very well done and i they deep fried it to make it warm. I wanted to bring it back but i can't go out due to taking care of disabled son. Thats why i let it delivered in the first place. Chow mien is horrible. Stir fried veggies are soggy. Lemon chicken's sauce was watery. Wasted more than $100. I'm giving Wah Sing four stars but it should be only 3.5. I don't want to rake them over the coals, they have been a mainstay here in Pittsburg for the past 32yrs I have lived here. We do not have many local Chinese restaurants here in Pittsburg. Back in the day, they were the only restaurant in town, food was awesome, service was awesome, They still have great customer service but the food is missing a step. Not sure if chefs have moved on or even sorrowful if they have pasted (it's been 32yrs) but the food is not as awesome as it was before. It still tastes fine, but before, as I remembered, their chow main and fried rice had a sort of charred flavor to them from a Wok that give it an extra touch. Their pricing is still fair in these inflated days, I still order from here since I do feel they are still have the better tasting food compared to the other restaurants in town but unfortunately it is missing a step. read more

I am giving this place 1 star, really - only for the service that I was given. I called for take-out during lunch time, trying to get that lunch special prices. The person I was on the phone with was extremely friendly and quite entertaining. When I went to pick up the food, the man was kind enough to carry the food to my car. I didn't think it was necessary, but it was really kind gesture. The food was not what I was expecting. I ordered Sweet and Sour pork, and you will see from the pictures that I posted, that it looks rather...odd. And yes, that threw me off as well - but I tried my best to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, after the first bite in, I've come to realize that I made a big mistake. The pork did not taste fresh, and the sweet and sour sauce looked like it was just spread all over the fried pork... it didn't look well-mixed. The pineapple tasted bitter. The rice tasted like it was a few days old. I wanted to give this place a higher rating, trying to be even more hopeful, but after a few minutes of eating the food - my stomach was aching so bad. I had to teach one more class with horrid stomach pain. And I was freaking out because the same day, I had to conduct for a performance. I went straight home after my last class that I had to teach, took a pepto bismol and napped. I woke up, still in so much pain. I was aching throughout the concert. My stomach aches still now. I came back during COVID to support local. It was a bad idea. For starters the service was lackluster. They have a plexiglass barrier at the front door above a table with to-go menus. The attendant came to the front, but stayed behind a desk to right of the open doorway to get my payment which I had to awkwardly provide by reaching beneath the plexiglass and upward toward the top of the desk. We had to make a similar exchange to get my card back and for me to sign the receipt with the same pen all customers would use and they don't provide hand sanitizer. And what's worse is that he didn't say thank you (for my patronage during these uncertain times) or evening you're welcome (after I said thank you for having received my food). After all of that the food was not good. It wasn't nasty, but it wasn't even as average as the food was during my first visit... I got the Chicken DeLite lunch special. The fried rice was dry and bland. The main dish was flavorful, albeit a little salty and the chicken was chewy. I ultimately gave the food away and bought tastier Chinese food from Safeway (of all places!) As I do for all small businesses, I wish them well, but I'll be going back to Uncle Wang's when getting Chinese food in this part of town. read more
