    Tom yum soup

I went to Lone Tree Thai for the first time and had a great experience when it came to service and ambiance. Servers were friendly, attentive and helpful. I found the prices affordable and the presentation of the food was beautiful. I was craving tom yum and pad thai but was worried that I wouldn't be able to eat it all. Thankfully, they serve smaller one serving size bowls of tom yum for only $6 and $7 with shrimp. It was delicious and perfectly sour. I wish the food was a little spicier but we were offered some hot sauce to adjust to our liking.

I haven't been here in a minute but I'm glad I followed my (hungry) gut (ha) to spend my lunch here dining in. Service was attentive, really friendly, and fast. Ambiance was chill for a Friday lunch hour. Food was AMAZING today! HOT, fresh, & as a low key pad sie eu connoisseur perhaps, I was impressed with the shrimp:broccoli:carrots:egg:perfectly cooked noodle ratio. Some restaurants just don't serve the dish right but today they did it so well I finished my plate lmaooo. Also enjoyed a very affordable bowl of chicken tom kha & it was PERFECT for this cold winter day. I would def come back I'm glad they've been able to stay open through all these years bc we don't have many thriving Thai restaurants in this area - so keep supporting local business!

    BBQ Chicken (game hen)

I came here for lunch on Thursday. The place wasn't busy. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was told I can pick my table. I ordered the BBQ Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice and Sticky Rice. The BBQ chicken was technically a game hen since it was very small. It was still tender and tasty. The chicken in the Fried Rice was tender, too. It was odd that they served the sticky rice in a ball of foil. All Thai & Laotian restaurants usually serve sticky rice in a hand-woven basket with a lid. I am giving 4/5 Stars because they changed one of the sauces (sweet & spicy) that comes with the BBQ sauce. The "spicy" sauce wasn't spicy at all. It was also not as tasty as their previous version. I asked the server if they had changed the sauce, and she said, "No," but I know they did. One of the best things about that Thai restaurant was the authentic sauce. She offered to add more chili powder, but I declined. I told her I can add it at home. Anyhow, you can see the differences in the sauce in my previous reviews. Overall, it was still a good lunch.

Casual dining Thai food in Brentwood / Antioch area. I ordered take out and the women helping me were patient as I looked over the menu and called family to get their orders. There was a sense of community in the restaurant which was really nice to see, especially since there's not a lot of Thai culture in Brentwood. A family member ordered the cashew chicken and was disappointed that it wasn't spicier. I ordered the lychee Thai tea and it was one of the best things I've had, it had two lychee in the drink itself, and was refreshing yet sweet. Prices are fair, but entrees didn't come with rice and we were charged extra. There's also an additional charge on drinks for take away. Not the best Thai food I've ever had, but I really appreciated the friendly vibe of patrons and staff (also staff was working hard to provide quick and quality service!)

Good food! Got take out here a couple days ago. It was not my first time, but it was my first time in a long LONG time. I had only gotten Pad Thai with extra chicken & level 2 spiciness. I had originally ordered level 3 spiciness, but the person taking my order asked if I had ever had it & I said "no", they recommended to go level 2 for now & oh boy that was a good decision. The level 2 spiciness was definitely spicy, but still not too spicy, so I added some chili flakes & some chili paste. The flavor was good! Good ole pad Thai. Can't go wrong with it. The chicken was also pretty good, and was not dry at all. The chicken could have possibly had more flavor but was still good, nonetheless. The serving size was huge! I was full in less than halfway through the to-go container & for less than $15 (more for me because I ordered extra chicken, but lots of filling noodles that would be a regular portion) was a good deal! Last time I was here, I was still probably still in middle school or early high school (I'm 24 now), and they're still good, but seemed to be slow, only having a couple tables eating there. Hope this place gets more customers again soon, unless if it was just a slow day.

My daughter's friend told her about the mango sticky rice from this restaurant so we had to try it out the other night too, super yummy!

I can't believe this is the first time I've tried the pad kee Mow here, it is soooo good! Level 4 HOT w tofu. And I highly recommend the rice plates with curry and vegan coconut Thai iced tea.

I placed an order through pick-up- shrimp pad see ew, and chicken red curry. I live very close- less than fifteen minutes' drive, and it was the middle of the day on Saturday, and the food was ready before I arrived. The dining area was sadly empty, but three other pick-up orders were waiting alongside mine, so the kitchen is clearly prompt. The restaurant is clean, the decor has wonderfully balanced colors and decorations to make the room feel a bit dark without being uncomfortable or hard to see in, the staff are friendly and well-spoken, and overall it was definitely a place I'd be happy to eat in on another occasion. When I initially opened the pad see ew, it seemed wet and unflavorful- that was *my* mistake. My advice- if you are getting something other than a soup or curry to go, open the container and let it sit for two or three minutes before eating. Once the trapped steam cleared, the food was flavorful, the sauce was just enough, the noodles had a lovely slightly-springy texture, and the shrimp had just the right snap in them. Today I had the red curry for lunch. Typically, because I am and sound very white, I have to ask that the food not be made with the weaker spice level. I have a pretty good spice tolerance, so I asked as usual, and Lone Tree Thai has delivered with the red curry. The container was perfectly sized for the curry in it, the plastic wrap on the outside served excellently to prevent condensation as it cooled first in the car and then in the refrigerator. Even reheated, the bite on the chicken was lovely, the vegetables were just soft enough and just firm enough, and twenty minutes after finishing I am still feeling a faint, permeating burn throughout my mouth. On the whole, a lovely couple of meals, and I will gladly return there again to see if other things are as good as what I ordered this time.

it's been years since eating here, but my daughter wanted thai for her birthday today. the food is decent. if you're craving thai--lone tree thai does the trick. i prefer my pad thai a little saucier, the pad thai here is more of dry style. it's not bad, but again the style is more of a "dry style" and i just prefer the less dry version. still tasty! but do keep that in mind when ordering. i also ordered the chicken satay, honey prawns, crab fried rice, and imperial rolls. the crab fried rice came with a TON of crab. all in all decent place to go to in the area when you're looking for a thai fix. i do wish there was an easier way to view the menu online and/or order online. called the order in, helpful staff, pick up was on time as promised.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. I ordered a roll for my daughter with no avocado and added cucumber. When we got home, the roll only had crab inside. There was no cucumber at all. I called and simply asked for a refund, but I was told the chef insisted the cucumber was in the roll, so they refused. Instead, they told me to drive back so they could remake it. After driving another 20 minutes back (40 minutes of driving total), the employee inspected the roll herself and immediately saw that there was, in fact, no cucumber. So the issue I reported from the beginning was real. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake. Mistakes happen. It was being treated like my word wasn't trustworthy after years of supporting this business. Rather than believing a loyal customer or offering a simple refund, I had to waste my time and gas proving that the order was incorrect. It makes me wonder if one roll was really worth losing a long-time customer. Customer service is about how you handle mistakes, and unfortunately this experience left me feeling undervalued. I hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future.

She is a key reason as to why we want to keep coming back; her attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic. Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved every dish we ordered. Their wonton soup is an excellent choice for a starter and can be shared up to at least 3 people. The wontons are fresh and tasty, the mushrooms are chunky and complement well with the bakchoy. There's even thinly sliced red pork which adds some taste and texture to the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed their spicy Mongolian chow fun. This had some sweetness to it but also some heat which was just right. The beef was super tender! It melts in your mouth. My wife ordered the Sun Kitchen sushi special which was delicious and had big pieces. The quality of sushi here is great! My son enjoyed his bento box which consisted of teriyaki grilled chicken, salad with creamy sesame dressing and then large pieces of vegetable tempura. This is an excellent deal with a good amount of choices to choose from. Jeanette and Tony frequently stopped by to check on us and made sure our meals were good and our drinks were refilled. They are so accommodating and inviting. The music they were playing in the background was on point! They were playing smooth R&B in which me and my wife were dancing. It's spacious inside the restaurant and can hold a good amount of guests. I will say, I wish the temperature was cooler inside; it was a bit warm but didn't really bother us. We can't wait to come back! We love this place!
