Always delicious. Service is good, but if you need water, bring some. They don't always fill the water as fast as they can. I wish I could fulfill myself, which would be a higher review. Place is clean and and pleats ready for you to sit. Tried the sugar cave drink, was tasty. It's good, not phenomenal. Fill the dang water cups!

I have been to this location so many times in my young adult life. Consistent broth for their pho and it's very rich and generous in portions. I never had an issue with this pho spot. I've been to bad spots with no flavor in their food. I came back after a long year of work to them having Bun Bo Hue on the menu?! Are you kidding me! I love BBH! The broth was rich, and there was so much meat and it just tasted so good. You have to try it if you are a viet food lover like me! Service is always great, and the area is spacious and clean! I will be back again!

This pho restaurant has a special place in my heart because it was the first location that my 6-year old son was willing to even try pho! And for years, it was the ONLY pho restaurant he would accept lol Lately, we've been ordering to-go as it's a bit more cost effective than Door Dashing, and we enjoy eating in the comfort of our own home. We've eaten here countless times and never been disappointed! For take-out pho, the key is to warm up the noodles and broth separately when you get home, so you have a nice piping hot bowl! Don't just dump the soup and noodles and everything into a bowl...and don't microwave the meat...the hot soup will warm the meat without overcooking and drying it. Also, they are now open on Tuesdays. Thank you to this kind and hard-working, family-owned pho restaurant for delivering us all the amazing pho over the years!!

Good phở gà here. There is also a Pho Lee Hoa Phat in Vacaville but I prefer this one in Fairfield. This restaurant is spacious. The staff is also attentive and kind. One odd thing is the hoisin sauce is placed in a red container. Overall, a great spot to get vietnamese food!

Unfortunately not my fave pho place. Ordered for soup #1, the broth is tasty but the meat is tough. We ordered chicken wings & fresh spring rolls for appetizer but the rolls lacks flavor. They don't have cilantro & bread for soup # 30. Service is poor, we keep on flagging their staff but they intentionally ignored us and they don't allow service animal inside.

does this look like beef to you?

This place used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after today I will not be going back. I ordered pho with beef, brisket, and flank. When I asked the server to show me where it was on the menu, she said "it's not on the menu, we'll make it for you". This automatically threw up a red flag in my head as I've ordered it many times before but couldn't locate it on the menu. They proceed to bring out my food, at first glance everything looks good. About half way through my meal I notice some of the meat at the bottom looks like tendon or tripe, which I do not eat. I addressed this with the staff and they became extremely argumentative, stating that it is beef, and brought out the cook who stated there he did not put tendon in my meal. I let them know I like the restaurant asked if they can please discount my meal for the confusion. They refused and here I am writing this review.

Quality- we were given the incorrect order, asked for no tripe.. first bite was tripe :/. Taste- it's okay- my order of BBQ chicken with side egg wasn't bad, however it doesn't stand out either. Service was okay. Clean tables, so that's a plus. Ambiance- I mean it's pretty much your typical Pho place, stark white walls with open sitting. Will I come back? Hmmm gotta think about that.

    1. Pho dac biet, no tripes. SO DELICIOUS

3.5 Food great, service meh, price increasing. This place you ORDER first at the front and then sit down. Very strange and different from other locations and restaurants. The price has gone up a lot over the years which is expected BUT the appetizer prices are ridiculous. Egg rolls 4 for 10 bucks!? Are they out of their mind, that's over two bucks for an egg roll when the cost of making and ingredients isn't expensive at all, even at stand alone shops with delicious egg rolls sell theirs for less than $2 an egg roll. I even pay 8-9 bucks sometimes when I want it for my son but $10, no way. I can get a full meal with 10. Just crazy. The food is still good, service is barely there. I'll still come for their pho and rice dish though.

This is our 3rd time trying this place. Today we decided on take out because my son was at home sick. Gentlemen who took my order was friendly and didn't rush us when looking through the menu. Food came out quick and was packed super nicely. Place was clean and quiet. When guest left tables were cleaned quickly. Food was still warm when we got home to eat. Will do more take out orders often.

My go to is always the banh mi. The grilled chicken and pork are my favorite and at the current price of $7-8, I find them a great lunch or dinner option. They are a good sized sandwich and I usually eat one half at a time. Their chicken wings had a great and satisfying crunch even after taking them home. The insides were super tender and juicy. The sauce is a great balance of sweet and heat. I recommend this place to all my friends visiting the area and are craving so Vietnamese food. Also, they've always professional and friendly customer service, even when the restaurant is swamped. It definitely fills up on the weekends.

For me, a great bowl of phở is about the relationship between the broth and its ingredients. While the broth has potential, the chicken is equally important--it should be tender, moist, and freshly prepared, complementing the depth and fragrance of the broth rather than becoming an afterthought. Unfortunately, the chicken here fell somewhat short. The texture lacked the tenderness and juiciness I was hoping for, which ultimately diminished an otherwise promising bowl. There is a good foundation here, and I would love to see the same attention given to the chicken as to the broth. A more carefully prepared, higher-quality cut of meat could make a meaningful difference and elevate the bowl considerably. In short: the broth has potential. Now, upgrade the chicken game.

A great place for pho!…read more Had some allergy issues so I came on a weekday for a hot bowl of pho to clear my sinuses out! The restaurant is in a shopping center and it can be hard to find parking especially at lunch time. The establishment is on the smaller side with a counter to order/pay and tables along the wall. I got the Thai tea and chicken pho. The Thai tea is on the sweeter side for those who like that I think next time I'll ask them to make it not as sweet as I love the Thai tea flavor to stand out. The food came out quickly and extra hot. This was a generous portion size of pho and they didn't skimp on the meat. My only complaint is serving lemon with the pho instead of lime. Overall a no frills restaurant with great tasting pho I'll definitely be back.

My husband called to see if there had been a mistake, and we were told to drive back. Since our bánh mì was already cold, he asked if they could remake the entire order. When they did, the pho still had barely any more meat than before. When he questioned it, he was told it only looked like there was more once the broth was added. He then asked for a little extra noodles, and they tried to charge him. There was no apology, and the employee seemed annoyed. When he asked if they could offer anything for the inconvenience of making another trip, he simply said, "We don't do that." The biggest disappointment wasn't just the small portions--it was the customer service. We won't be returning.

On my first day in Vallejo, I tried another Vietnamese restaurant across town, and it was such a disappointment that I almost swore off Vietnamese food in Vallejo altogether. Being from Sacramento, where we're fortunate to have some of the best Vietnamese food in California, my expectations are pretty high when it comes to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I arrived about five minutes before closing because of traffic, and even though they were already past their closing time, they still welcomed me in, took my order, and treated me with kindness. That level of hospitality is rare and greatly appreciated. I ordered the cơm tấm with shrimp, egg, and grilled meat, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was flavorful and tender, the shrimp was grilled perfectly, and the egg had a soft yolk that tied the whole dish together. It tasted exactly like the authentic Vietnamese food I grew up eating with my family. Every bite brought back memories of home. The cherry on top was finding out that the restaurant is family-owned and operated. When I visited, it was a father and son working together, helping customers and running the restaurant with genuine care. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service. I plan on continuing to spend time in Vallejo, and I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
