I guess is about time that I wrote a review for this place. We've been coming here quite often because of the cheap but high quality food. It's your standard Vietnamese and pho restaurant. The for here is legit. The broth is where I typically start and this place definitely does it right. I has the right amount of flavor, the amount of fat and the noodles are usually cooked right (al dente). We also have tried the appetizers and their pork noodle bowl. Their rolls are good but the wings are not worth the money. Also their bahn mi is acceptable. A really well-rounded pho place with a dive bar attached. What more can you ask for? read more

This is always my go-to spot for pho in Burien. They're always generous with their portions and give plenty of noodles and meat. The broth is consistent and never too watered down in flavor. Their veggie platter that comes with the pho always has the freshest bean sprouts, basil and lime. There is probably nothing more disappointing than a bad noodle-meat-broth ratio or brown basil when it comes to pho, like you often get at chain restaurants. But never have I had an issue with Pho Liu. So much love for this local joint! Service here has always been great; the owners of this place really take initiative in getting to know their customers and getting feedback to improve their business. They also have a bar area with TVs if you want to watch the game or drink while you eat. read more

I completely forgot about Pho Liu since I always frequent with Pho Tai. BUT, Pho Tai has gotten more expensive by $1 or $2. Surprise! Not really. So I decided to check out this restaurant again because I remembered I had dinner here once. My fiancé ordered a bowl of Pho and 6 fried chicken wings. The wings were fried in oil that had been left in the fryer all day. The Vietnamese dipping fish sauce was served as the "ranch". :-) I had Com Thit Heo Nuong (pork chop with rice). On that plate, there were also eggs, shredded pork, and vegetables. The vegetable sauce was a bit thick for my taste, however. The funny thing is I didn't remember about an attached bar to the restaurant. I don't mind much since those bar guests are always in their own zones at the bar. I know that it is an odd place to be next to the bar, but whatever the owner has to do to maintain his or her Pho business. read more

I think a whole bunch of staff called in sick when I visited because the place was in need of serious cleaning. Food stuck to the seats and plates that were sitting all over the place. This sight definitely made it hard to think about sitting down and enjoying a meal. I ordered the seafood pho and was very surprised at how flavorful the meal was. Plenty of seafood and great seasoning in the soup. I do wish the waiter was more attentive as it was no where near busy. The food was great but they need to make sure they remember that a clean atmosphere is just as important as good food. read more

Amazing bun, gyoza, and iced coffee. Added bonus is you can sit in the bar and eat. Great people watching and we even got a chance to watch the final game of the World Cup and see the staff get super animated every time a goal was almost made. Two words... Banana. Gorillas. Super delicious! I come here more for the drinks, the only food I have had was chicken teriyaki, egg rolls and potstickers aka gyoza all of which are really good. I'm not sure if I want to give this place 2 or 3 stars.... let's say 2.5... So I was SUPER excited I found this place, as it is literally walking distance from my job! And is in a great location, with amazing parking. When you walk in, it's a mini restaurant that extends into a bar, with pool, darts, pulltabs! And they stay open until 2 am. All the goods. I went in a couple days ago for the first time and my friend and I started off with Spring fresh rolls, AMAZING. Like wow! So savorful, very large portions and tasted so fresh! $4, check. We go to order pho, omg the prices are insane for what you get, especially compared to most pho places. $6.50 for a Small, $7.50 Large. Heck yeah, I'll take it! We both ordered Large bowls and I ordered mine with half noodle (I love broth so much and noodles just fill me up temporarily lol)... when we got our pho, they gave my friend the half noodle and that's his favorite part, so that was a little mistake that was fine because I could give him some of mine and vise versa.. Their pho has the longest noodles I've ever seen, impossible to eat without cutting first but they're good.. I'm trying to cut and untangle the noodles, I found an incredibly Longggggg, dark, straight hair entangled with the noodles! (I have short, curly hair that was in a slick bun) I tried getting the attention of the bartender and the server but no one bothered coming by so I just ended my meal there. He went to pay but they didn't even ask how the meal was so we just left. A couple days later a coworker of mine asked about it and wanted to stop in, so I figured I'd give it another shot since their flavoring was so good.. welp, I ordered my pho and they brought me the wrong one. Wrong meat and everything yet when I tried saying something, they argued it was the right plate even though they saw the meat was wrong, and then said "oh we'll bring you the other meat now" and I said no because now the broth tastes like tripe and other raw meats that I do not like.. they were so whiny about replacing my plate, that they themselves messed up. After that they pretended I wasn't there and never again came by. The man at the counter doesn't understand what he doesn't want to. He pretends to not know English, yet the entire time I was there he was playing videos on his phone (blasted higher than both the tv and music from the jukebox, mind you) all in English.. hmm okay. We ordered steak and beef pho and the bahn mi sandwiches. We all preferred the chicken sandwiches over the pork. The pho was fresh and all of the condiments were included. The portion was huge. The one thing about pho carry out and raw meat is, the broth isn't quite hot enough to cook the meat enough. Unless you like rare, rare. A quick zap or pan heat up at home fixed that. We are this for two days. We were visiting from out of state and they do not have pho like this where we live. We'd go back again. read more

As soon as you walk through the doors, go straight to the bar, walk to the exit sign and leave. This was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. I sat down at one of the booths and there were 20 fruit flies flying around. I grabbed some chopsticks and about 5 more flew out from their hiding spot. We had to move seats 3 times to a middle table that didn't have fruit flies. Strike one I should have left after I saw a community of flies but we decided to give it a chance. I have to admit the pho was actually pretty good. My friend ordered the shrimp fried rice and chicken wing appetizer and every aspect that could go wrong, did happen. First off the chicken wings were fried to a crisp and shrunk to miniature size. There was an accompanying fish sauce on the side that was basically water. Fried rice was even worse. My friend said it tasted flavorless and had no seasoning. I told him cmon it can't possibly be that bad considering I'm not picky and I think Panda Express is pretty good. The fried rice was indeed just rice, bean sprouts, shrimp, and oil. I didn't taste any seasoning and it was truly bland. Luckily there was hoisin sauce and Siracha he could use to add to the rice. He took a bite of the shrimp and it was still frozen!! That was the last straw, he barely ate any of his food and we got the check and left. We didn't want to be that person who complains to the owners. It was just not a good experience. Yes they open late hours but there are many other options like Great American Casino that has excellent food. read more

This place opens pretty late at night, and you might have a hard time finding parking late at nights. I went around midnight, and only pho/soup dishes are available. There was a musty smell by the booths near the front door. The decor is well decorated, as well as beautiful murals and art on the walls. The service was fast, and the pho was decent. The bar at the back of the restaurant was loud and lively, and you can play some bar games or drink with the crowds. read more

Great pho! I have gotten bun and pho, always tasty. A little smokey, dingy and dirty but that's because it's shared with a bar.

The pho broth here is absolutely to die for. The color says it all, rich and brown. It honestly taste as if they had been making the broth slowly all day long. I love coming here and the staff is so friendly. I always order Pho Tai, with the beef on the side. I would recommend trying the fried chicken wings as well. Good broth, noodles are a decent brand, owners have many regulars. Love their fried rice. However, I dined in today and it was very difficult. The place was EXTREMELY MUSTY and smelt like a moldy sock. I'm not sure if it is coming from their bar, a leaky roof, or maybe a customer in the bar who really smelt bad. But it seriously needs to be looked into, it was too difficult to breath inside. I will definately give the place another chance, and will update my review when I do. read more

We are from Hawaii (Honolulu) and there are a LOT of places to get really great Asian cuisine since Hawaii is known as a "melting pot" of many cultures. So when we come to the mainland, we often struggle to get our Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese food cravings satisfied. It's late fall in Seattle and I was freezing my butt off in the 50degree weather, so my boyfriend's suggestion for pho sounded amazing!! Not many reviews in general for pho in SeaTac so we based our decision off the pics yelpers have posted. That's when we found Pho Liu. It's getting late and we hate being those people who walk in late so we decide to call in a takeout order and they're super nice on the phone. Very informative and helpful! We ordered spring rolls. These were huuuuuge! They were very hearty, filled with veggies and pork and had a crispy crunchy outside. I don't like when spring rolls are soggy and these were perfect! It came with fish sauce to dip in which was also on point. We also got two large orders of pho. Since we ordered it for take-out, I want to point out they did a great job of packing everything to keep it fresh. The pho came with... ~ Traditional pho noodles ~ TONS of raw steak (thank goodness it was raw! I don't like when it's already cooked) ~ Raw onions ~ Fresh basil leaves ~ Fresh cut limes ~ Fresh cut jalapenos ~ Bean sprouts ~ Lots of sriracha and hoisin sauce ~ The super hot pho broth (when we got back to our hotel it was still very hot and cooked the raw meat easily) Portion size was huge! I couldn't finish mine and the fact that my boyfriend couldn't finish the rest...that definitely says something! Such a good value. Everything was so fresh and they made sure to have all the key ingredients for pho! It seems silly to be so appreciative of these things, but you don't know how many pho places on the mainland don't give you the limes or the basil leaves and it just doesn't taste the same without it. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in is that they only give you the raw steak. We were hoping for beef balls, tripe, and the works, but it just came with the steak. However, it was a huge portion of raw steak and overall a really great pho. This was the most legit pho place we've been to in Washington state so far. Definitely go check them out! They serve dinner till 10pm and I think they're open as a bar/lounge after till 2am. read more

They even have a bar in the back. Plenty of parking. The staffs are super friendly and nice. They probably have the cheapest pho in the Burien area too. They also have the best smoothie/bubble tea compared to most other places. I am a nursing mom and my baby is a "snacker" - he'd want to feed all the time. The owner here even lends me a private room so that I can nurse my son anytime. They are also super good as far as remember your name, your favorite seats, and orders. More than once I saw the owner offer their customers their fav treats (like banana and special appetizer). read more

I kid you not, the food is IDENTICAL to Pho Tai in Burien. Tastes slightly fresher, but the look, presentation, EVERYTHING is the same. I believe the current owner/cook here used to work there as I definitely recognized her face. Nonetheless, the food is yummy, the menu is a bit more expansive, and the service is super friendly. I've been here several times and I'll definitely keep coming back. The banh mi is priced well and they definitely don't skimp on the fillings. Call ahead if you're ordering a rice or vermicelli dish to go as they take a little bit longer than a bowl of pho. read more

I only got pho to go here. But it was a great experience. I was greeted when I walked in. After ordering I was told to have a seat and offered water. I don't think I have ever been offered water when doing take out!! This is a very unique pho restaurant. It is also a lounge/bar. And it was a huge bar area from what I could see. They had lots of dart boards, and an electric bar game. The restaurant are was clean and looked a lot like all other pho places. Now on to the pho. It was good, probably would of been better if had eaten there. They have two sizes, small and large. Also have a pretty decent menu with other things besides just pho. read more
