Came to 3 Bros for the first time as we drove by a week ago and noticed their location which isn't easy as you can just drive on by as it blends into the clutter of 1st Ave and 146th on the west side. But as you walk in the door 3 Bros is an oasis as the atmosphere, tables and basically everything is exceptional. We were quickly met and offered a table asked if we want water or hot tea. Perfect service and the food choices, quality and quantities is perfect too. Each dish was presented well, fresh ingredients and 3 Bros exceeded my expectations. A highlight was the picked sliced jalapeños that was great as a complement to spice up my meal. An interesting cultural difference here is the informality and efficiency. Service is relaxed, and they don't want to rush you - you can sit as long as you like. Therefore the cultural difference is you pay at the counter when you're ready to leave. It's one of those small cultural differences that feels a bit different at first but quickly becomes normal. My friend and I came here for dinner. It was a little busy, but we were seated right away. Food: I initially ordered the tofu pho. It was unclear on the menu at the time that it came with beef broth. I knew it was beef broth when it arrived. I should have asked beforehand if it was vegetarian. They were really nice to take it back. I ordered the tofu spring rolls and those were good. Service: Service was friendly and quick. It was nice of them to remove the tofu pho from our bill once I realized it wasn't vegetarian. 3 Bros Vietnamese Cuisine is one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in Burien. I've been here twice and the food is always flavorful and hits the spot. They were written up in The Seattle Times in December 2024 and applauded for their Grilled Chicken & Crispy Egg Roll Vermicelli - Bún Gà Nướng Chả Giò and chicken pops. On my previous visit, I ordered the Vegetarian Bún Chay, ($15.99) which was memorably fantastic, especially for being vegetarian. It had mushrooms, tofu, and fresh veggies on top of vermicelli noodles. This visit I ordered the Grilled Pork & Crispy Egg Roll Vermicelli - Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giòv ($15.99). The pork in this dish tasted like literal candy as it was extremely well-marinated in a sweet and savory sauce and grilled to caramelized perfection. The vegetables were very fresh and I especially liked that they add fresh mint leaves to the dish for a nice and refreshing contrast to the umami fish sauce. My boyfriend ordered the steak and brisket pho ($16.99) and enjoyed the soup on a cold fall evening. The noodle portions are larger here than most, but slightly more expensive than other pho places. Make sure to try their chili sauce at the table, but note that a little goes a long way. Service was good and the workers came by to check on us during our meal. I also love how they offer complimentary hot tea, which very few places do these days. It really is a nice and welcoming touch. As many others have commented, parking kind of sucks as there are limited spots and so it's best to come during off hours. The interior is quaint, but they have at least a dozen tables. It was a little tricky to find since it is tucked away near a massage parlor and a gas station, but once we walked in, the place was very nice inside. I ordered a vermicelli bowl and the fish sauce wings. The meal came with tea, which was a nice touch. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything was delicious. The fish sauce wings were fried perfectly with great flavor. I just wish they had a slightly stronger fish sauce taste, but overall they were very good. My husband and I went to 3 Bros Vietnamese Cuisine for the first time tonight, upon excellent reviews. Although a tad bit tricky to navigate parking, the services, ambiance and food well made up for it. I had the Bahn Mi sandwich (chicken) and my husband had the Grilled Chicken & Egg Roll Vermicelli, both very good, and served hot! Craving for Vietnamese food, we ended up in Burien. Found a little place on Ambaum Way- hard to get into the parking lot and didn't have enough space for parking. But besides that, the restaurant itself was surprisingly clean and nicely arranged. It was vey accommodating and comfortable. The young man that greeted us was courteous with a smile; made us at ease right away. Gave us a few minutes to look at the menu and came to take our order. Went to order takeout on a Saturday night within the hour of closing time. There were a few customers dining in and another couple came as I was waiting for my order. The restaurant has a nice feel and welcoming. The man behind the counter was very nice. He asked if I wanted any water or hot tea while waiting. I said no, but he ended up giving me barley tea and explained there was no caffeine in it so I gladly drank it. I got the steak & beef pho and prawn spring roll. The pho broth was quite tasty, although seems a bit too oily compared to other pho i've had before. There's a decent amount of meat for the price and good amount of noodles. The prawn spring roll was a good size. There was a taste towards the end of the roll that I can't quite identify. It wasn't bad but not great either. The sauce was pretty good. It was a huge serving; the broth flavor defined the word sublime, and loaded with noodles, could not come close to finishing. She also ordered a beautiful cold bubbly drink which our server told as she served it, not to mix or stir, as the flavors are to be drunk from the bottom up with a straw, just as the mixture had been layered. Finally, a legit hủ tiếu spot! Ever since I moved to Washington, I've been on a mission to find a place that does hủ tiếu right and lets me swap in mì. Three years later--boom, here we are. 3 Bros, you have my heart (and my stomach). Food: Straight-up solid. The broth? Chef's kiss. Flavorful, not too heavy, and just the right balance of savory goodness. The noodles were on point, and they don't skimp on the toppings (I even asked for extra limes and chives with no extra charge). And can we talk about the pickled jalapeños? If you know, you know. Bonus points for that. I got full halfway through, but the food was so good I forced myself to finish everything--including the soup. No regrets. My wife got the phở tái bò viên and loved it. She even said the broth was better than our other go-to spot in Kent, and that's a huge compliment. We got our son the bún thịt nướng chả giò, and he cleared his bowl--which, if you have a toddler, you know is basically the ultimate stamp of approval. We ended up taking the rest home since we both got full from our bowls of soup. Service: Trâm took care of us, and she was amazing--super sweet and thoughtful. She even made sure our 2-year-old was comfortable, which is a big deal because dining with a toddler is basically a sport. Ambience: Clean. Like, actually clean. No sticky tables, no questionable condiment bottles (actually labeled properly)--just a well-kept, inviting spot. It's a decent size too, so you're not elbow-to-elbow with strangers while slurping your noodles. Bottom line: If you're craving a solid bowl of hủ tiếu (or mì, or both), 3 Bros is where it's at. Cute joint with great food and even better service! We started with hot tea, served in the cutest little teapot--I seriously wanted to take it home. I had my eye on the pork bánh mì, and it did not disappoint. The bread was perfectly crunchy, the veggies were fresh, and the pork was seasoned really well. For $8, it was a solid choice. Now, onto the star of the show: the pho. The broth was rich and full of flavor, and the meat cuts were great. This is the best pho in Burien!!! This place is under new ownership. It used to be Pho Lily for a long time and then it was something else for a while, can't remember the name. Whoever took it over after pho Lily was trash so I never went back. Saw that the name changed again and was under new ownership so thought I'd give it another go. To say I was surprised at how good it was is an understatement. After trying all the other pho places around here and being disappointed every time, I'd given up hope!!
