I used to live in the area and was vegan years ago so this was my go-to spot! My husband would order his meat fish and I would order my vegan dish here and we're both happy! We recently went back with a friend and we ordered meat dishes for them and I ordered a vegan dish for myself. I forgot how good faux meat can be. There was a large party there so the servers were a bit busier than normal. Other than, we had no issues with service. Visited recently and have to say their broth has gotten oily. Still generous with the amount of food in the pho, but disappointed in the broth. Couldnt even finish. Sizes remain the same and prices are about $16 for small and $17 for large. Service remains great. They serve us when needed and dont rush us when we are done. We still pay up front when youre ready to go. Overall, would not come back unless the broth tastes as it used to. read more

Yum!!! I was thrilled to hear they offer Bun Bo Hue now. NEW MENU ITEM! It was delicious and more authentic than others as it also came with the Huyet (pork blood cube) - I'm sure you can ask for it without it if you don't like it. Broth was dark & flavorful with all of the accompaniments. I also got the chicken wings which were delicious as well! The garlic and other veggies add a nice flavor and the saltiness was perfect! This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for some time. They have a great menu with a variety of quality well prepared Vietnamese dishes with an array of vegetarian options, too. What we did not know until our 50th wedding anniversary which we celebrated there last night,... Pho Vina and staff can throw a great party! We were able to arrange a gathering of nearly 40 family members in a portion of the restaurant which they set up for us. They even provided some decoration and a photographer on their own. AMAZING Vietnamese food in Seattle. We ate here late in the afternoon after spending the whole day at the Aviation Museum (also highly recommend visiting it!). We were seated right away and were starving. Restaurant is clearly family owned and operated. And the best thing was to see the whole family eating the same food they were serving and clearly enjoying it! Food was delicious. Portions were large. I would have had a hard time finishing my food if I was not as hungry as I was, just because of the size of the portion. Love this place. Very nice atmosphere and I always feel the service is great. They are very prompt, attentive, and polite. I always get the Chicken Pho and love that they use only chicken breast. A small is definitely enough to fill me up. My son loves the Pad Thai and the fried rice is a favorite as well. We were happy to get a taro bubble tea - my favorite flavor. Staff are so amazing, kind and attentive. I had the Chicken Pho with extra veggies and it was absolutely delicious. Very comforting. Two others in our party got a beef pho and the only complaint was wishing they had gotten a bigger size for one of them! Shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce was very refreshing. We asked for extra peanut sauce and they were NOT stingy, very generous with the sauce. We also got the crispy egg rolls, yummy. Prefect setting for rainy day, especially with the sweet staff. WARNING my first time at this place was a terrible experience! I ordered the Pho with rare beef and brisket but got just the rare beef one. OK, no big deal, I didn't even mention that he got my order wrong. I also ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and it looked very nice when it came out. But when I bit into it I almost burned my mouth! Had to wait a bit and gingerly take small bites out of the skin which was good enough but really hot. Then after a minute or two ate more of the meat of the wing but it was rubbery and totally overcooked. I tried two more wings to see if they were better? Also terribly overcooked. I've had a lot of chicken wings in my life and these had to be the most overcooked wings I've ever had. Did somebody leave them too long in the deep frier? I told the waiter and he shrugged and said he was sorry and walked away. Interesting...so I turned to my Pho and it was good pho but not great pho. Oh well, was really hoping to like this local place since it had such great reviews? My usual go to is Rose Pho, and their broth and food is MUCH TASTIER! So, at the end of the meal I said, " I hope you're not charging me for these horribly overcooked wings?" To which he replied, "you ate them, of course we charge" I was taken aback. I explained that I had only sampled a couple but each one I tried was horribly overcooked and tasted like rubber. Please try one. He got the owner or manager or somebody from the kitchen to come out and I explained the same thing but they would only give me half off they said because I had nibbled at them. How am I supposed to tell they are not good if I don't try them?? So, they brought me the bill and instead of half off it was a 20% discount. As I was leaving the waiter pointed to a sign at the entrance saying they have the right to refuse service! I told them don't worry, I'll NEVER BE BACK! Absolutely terrible experience. All they had to do was take my word for it and either make me another order or take it off the bill like any DECENT restaurant does. So, WARNING Do not give your business to an establishment that does not treat their customers right! I'm usually a great customer who is nice and tips 25% and above! I've been here probably 5-6 times I'm surprised I haven't left a review yet. The food has always been good! The crab rangoons are delicious, but a little more expensive than I think they should be. The pho is fairly standard but nothing wrong with that. The music is always great imo. Their prices have gone up but that's happening everywhere. read more

I was visiting in Burien last week and supper time rolled around. I looked around in my bookmarks and decided to try Pho Vina Burien. When I went there I was fairly sure I didn't want pho. I love pho on a cold, wintery day but the day I went was warmer and having pho didn't quite fit for me. I was leaning towards getting a Banh Mi sandwich or a Vermicelli bowl. In the end I got a Pork Vermicelli bowl which was delicious! Vegetables were fresh and the noodles were great. The pork was on skewers on top of the bowl and the glaze they had on them were delicious. A great meal all around. I did want something a little warm so I got some hot green tea and that was good too to go along with my entrée. Service was very good and was on top of ordering and having any needs met. We went this place for a quick lunch in the neighborhood. Parking was convenient and free in the front. Since it's in the afternoon, the business was still steady. The server sat us right away. We ordered Vietnamese coffee, crispy egg rolls, fresh spring roll, rare beef and brisket pho and seafood pho. When I asked the server if they had egg noodle, he said yes without mentioning up charge. Vietnamese coffee was great and beef pho tasted delicious. The egg noodle was blend and some of them sticked to each other. For seafood pho, there were 3 shrimps, 2 squids, a few of fish balls and lots of imitation crab meat. In the end, I noticed that they charged $3.95 for the substitution, egg noodle on the check. We found this place through a Facebook and decided to order from them for our weekly support local restaurant campaign. We were amazingly surprised at how delicious everything was! We had about 13 orders from my pharmacy department and everybody was very pleased! The restaurant opens at 10 AM but they were able to deliver our food to us which is 25 miles away by 1030! Uyen (the owners daughter) knew that the majority of us went to lunch around 10 AM so she made sure to deliver our food early so we can enjoy it! I had sent her over a list of everybody who ordered and what they ordered she went above and beyond and labeled their name on there for me so I did not have to go through and figure out who's order was who. That alone right there gave them a five star for customer service! I ordered their chow fun and their curry vermicelli and it was so good! Everything was cooked perfectly! Service was nice but food ok. I order my usual grilled pork rice plate but this time I opted for the combo with an egg roll and shrimp skewers. For $17 I'd think I'd get more grilled pork and 3 tiny shrimps. The egg roll was fine. What bothered me was that the fried egg was over cooked and plainly over hard. Every other time I've ordered a plate with a fried egg it comes over easy and basically runny. I brought it to the attn of the waiter and said if I had wanted it runny, I should have let them know ahead of time since they always do it over hard. That was weird to me and they were adamant about it, so I ordered another egg and came over easy at $1.50. I was a bit peeved but whatever, I guess they do it differently in Seattle. Great pit stop after landing at airport and needing to be brought back to life with hot soup! I consider anything over 5hrs a long flight so I needed a pick me up. This place nails it! I've tried the combo pho, pork bun and a pork banh mi. The pho is basic, the broth is on the oiler end. They use vietnamese bbq pork, it's moist and flavorful. The banh mi i got didn't have pate (which i love) and they cut their jalapeños in coin shapes versus long. They are really expensive for vietnamese food but it's arguable that in the area, there doesn't seem to be many vietnamese options. The service was decent, they were pretty standard in terms of checking in and cleaning. I probably wouldn't get their pho again, nor the banh mi because it's way too expensive and i'd rather go further. The bun is good enough to get again though! read more
