I really love this place, their banh mi, spring rolls, plates, and drinks are fresh and every bite is good. I was happy when they opened years ago now, because I was desperately hoping for a good deli. There is no indoor seating, expect to be in and out! The prices are reasonable and worth it. Not the quickest experiece, nor the best in terms of quality and flavor, but the most solid grab and go option for vietnamese food around West Seattle/White Center that I know of. My old spot closed down so this was the next go-to spot. They've got an array of options for banh mi's as well as some hot meals and pre-packaged food such as spring rolls, fried rice, etc. I've gone quite a few times for the convenience, although today's lemongrass beef banh mi was lacking a lot of flavor & sauces (barely any mayo, pate, etc.) and there was only a touch of lemongrass flavor in the beef (and very undersalted) - and it was also slightly cold even though it took 15 min to prepare. Nonetheless, it mightve been a one-off. It does generally take 10-15 min to get an order though, but usually the food doesn't come out this cold. Will update review if this changes when I go again next. read more

The space is quite small and packed with a lot of items, which makes it feel tight and a bit overwhelming. It was hard to tell how clean the place was because of how cluttered it felt. That said, the food was very tasty and had a fresh, authentic flavor. The dishes were well-seasoned and clearly made with care--definitely the highlight of the visit. Today I stopped by for a Tofu (Vegetarian) Bahn Mi! It was so good. Well balanced flavor, good bread that didn't scratch the roof of my mouth, and warm! I hadn't ate for some hours so I forgot to take a photo before eating, it was worth it though. The location is a small space, I only noticed one table, not much of a dine in spot. They had a hand full of yummy looking food items "ready to go". But I love that they made the sandwich fresh. It is a tight fit if there's a couple people waiting, so if you'd prefer to not wait with others maybe call ahead. I had no issue waiting inside, it smelled great. We went with the latter but the premade stuff looked good too. Got a #1 grilled pork banh mi and it was great. Fresh bread, flavorful grilled pork, crisp vegetables for crunch and some shreds of pickled vegetables make for a simple yet bright sandwich. The jalapeños aren't too spicy and adds floral heat. All in all great, especially for the price and convenience. In any case, if you're looking for a quick bite, picnic, or something to take to the airport, this would be my go to. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it is quick, convenient, and has a parking lot, but the Nem nuong cuon was extremely disappointing and although the banh mi had food flavor, I wish there was more filling inside. I came here straight from the airport so I could grab a bite to eat before heading to work. I am giving this place 3 stars instead of two because I do like that parking is easy, and they are quick to get your food out. I got the combination banh mi, Nem nuong cuon, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was good and was not watered down. The banh mi had good flavor but I wish there was more filling. The Nem nuong cuon was extremely disappointing and I actually ended up throwing it out. It was a shame because I love Nem nuong cuon and it looked really good, until I bit into it and saw that it barely had any of the meat patty and only tasted like noodles and lettuce. All in all, if I do come back due to convenience, I will stick with the banh mi and pass on the grab and go spring rolls. read more

I have been here so many times. Not only me but my coworkers also love their food. My favourite are Bánh Mì Chả Cá, Bánh Mì Heo Quay, Cơm Chiên, Gỏi Cuốn, and Mì Xào. Taste is just right to everything. Their Vietnamese coffee is very good as well. Their service is super quick and nice. The store is small but has a lot of things for you to order. Everyone working here is very nice and will help you decide if you're not sure what to get. I've seen them assembling some party platters, will likely come here for our next big party. read more

A quick Vietnamese grab-and-go. There was a decent food selection, but I was expecting a bit more from the photos. My family all ordered a banh mi, and the best one seemed to be the thit nuong, or the grilled pork. I asked for simply pate and asked for a bit extra pate and mayo to make up for the lack of meat. They agreed to my request, but when I tried my sandwich, it was so dry! I opened up the sandwich, and there was a lack of both mayo and pate. I could not finish it, so that was pretty disappointing. My family's banh mi's seemed to be overall better with the addition of meat, but I don't see why they would take my request if they could not fulfill it. The dessert che and the smaller snacks proved to be better, but I probably will not be returning. read more

A perfect last meal in West Seattle. For $6, I got a delicious banh mi filled with tender, juicy grilled pork, pickled daikon and carrots, very spicy jalapeno slices, cucumber, lots of cilantro, and a great combination of butter, paté, and whatever sauces they put on the sandwich. The bread was super fresh and wonderfully toasted with a shatteringly crisp outside and soft interior. I really don't think this banh mi could be improved upon! A decent number of folks were there when I went for lunch; be prepared to wait a few minutes since they prepare the sandwiches fresh. Best bánh mì in White Center with a great selection. Takeout only. They also do complete meal "lunch boxes" that often include Vietnamese specialties that you don't see everyday. There's a wide variety of smoothies and coffees, and "chè" (sweet "puddings" that they put together with coconut milk and ice) that are wonderful in the summer. You can also find Vietnamese specialty ingredients like their own pate, fried shallots, pickled mustard greens and more. The owners and employees are very nice and will remember you if you come back! For catering orders be sure to call or come in to place your order at least a day ahead. They are very popular on weekends. My favorite lunch stop ever since I started working in white center. I usually call ahead and place my order and it's always done within 10 minutes or so. But if you go in and place an order it shouldn't be that long a wait either! They have so much more than just bomb banh mi and cafe sua da, but those are my favorite items off the menu so far. They put a lot of jalapeno just FYI for those of you who don't eat spicy! They also do catering, and I've considered this heavily for upcoming family parties. Cute little Vietnamese deli in white center. Don't make it down in this neighborhood often but wanted to make my trip more worth while and found this little place for some snacks. Seemed like they had a lot of standard Vietnamese deli options like banh mi, egg roll, etc - I opted for the pate chaud and banh bao with pork and quail egg. I am giving this 3 stars just based on the two items I sampled. Both were salt bombs - it might be great for those that love salt but it was a lot for me to take in and needed to split them up across a few days to ensure I wasn't going to have a salt overload situation on hand. I had high hopes for the pate chaud as the pastry itself was great! Flakey and light but the filling was far too strong. I'd like to try their other offerings next time I'm in white center neighborhood but I wouldn't come down this way based on the items I sampled on my first visit. read more

I love this quick Vietnamese take-out place for sandwiches and drinks, but they have other good things to eat such as rice and noodle dishes, spring rolls and desserts. I also like that I can grab a can of Cafe du Monde coffee there in a pinch. The women who run the shop are welcoming and super fast with service. My banh mi was made before I could get my card out to pay. They really live up to their name! Nice spot in Burien to pick up some food. I came in after work (around 430om) and there wasn't much left of the grab n go, I was hoping for a honey comb cake but the cards were not in my favor. I got a banh mi instead and it was good. They had my favorite rolled ham and fried egg, so I was super excited. Everything was fresh, my only real qualm was that the bread was a little too toasty and hefty. Overall, service was fast and friendly and the ambiance was reminiscent of other Vietnamese delis. I generally LOVE this place however, I had an odd experience. There was 1 dessert left on the table and no one around it. I picked it up and started looking around when a man from the kitchen came and told me that what I was holding was his... I had literally picked it up from the sale table and NO ONE was within 3 feet of it. So... to recap, an EMPLOYEE came and took product out of a customer's hands to claim for himself and NO ONE said anything to him. If I owned a business and an employee took product from a customer, he might not be working for me anymore. I've been meaning to write a little review for this since it opened and took over the old Xuan deli. Services here is quick and efficient. Has a ton of Vietnamese food/ snacks. I had called in a take out for 2 banh mi dac biet and 2 banh mi thit nuong. Picked up a Vietnamese coffee and some spring rolls while i was there. The banh mi were so good! I'm usually really picky about where I get it from because I've had nasty/ bland ones before. The banh mi here are loaded with veggies and tons of pate, mayo, and soy sauce. I love how much pickled carrots and daikon there were in the sandwich it was so delicious, I also ask for extra jalapenos and lordt was I dying in between bites. They were spicier than the ones I've had before. All brownie points hit for me. I did have a spring roll and thought it was good but i can honestly make it at home. I'm just need to stop being so tired haha. OH and honorable mention goes to the Vietnamese coffee that kind of had me cracked out. I normally have like 3/4 cups of black coffee a day so when this one cup of coffee had my hands shaking and my brain running at 100 miles per hour instantly took a liking to the place. delicious banh mi, noodles, and fresh rolls! Been waiting for a place close to me that is more deli style. I got the tofu Banh mi, roasted pork mini Banh mi (yas...it's so cute!), tofu fresh rolls, and shrimp fresh rolls. The roasted pork was actually pork belly and even had the crispy bits. The Banh mi bread tasted like Q Bakery which is a compliment cause I love their bread. The tofu was the shredded kind, not my favorite but that's just my preference. Really liked the thicker cut pickled daikon and carrots and extremely clean and fresh veggies. Fresh rolls were wrapped nice and tight and had mint. I'm a huge fan of some herbs in my rolls. will be coming back!! read more

Those familiar with the area know it used to be another deli now under a new ownership. I'd say it's an evolution up and I couldn't be happier to see they're getting more traffic. This gives off the traditional Viet Deli shop you'd see in Northern or Southern Cali to Houston, TX. Got yourself ground deli meats, premade grab and go meals, boba, authentic snacks and seasonings directly from the Viet Nam motherland, and of course Banh Mi. Folks there appear to be family and are always pleasant. Food is quick and I've found the seasonings for their Banh Mi (I got the grilled pork or thit nuong) to be just right. Not overly salty and their baguettes are crunchy and fluffy. Of course, you're also paying White Center prices so it's super cheap. I'd say they can't get away with this if their location was in Capital Hill. Even then, I'd say they should be more expensive for the portions you get. They're also COVID conscious so eat with confidence. read more

The chicken bahn mi is my usual at these delis as pork doesn't agree with me and I don't agree with other meat from a loaf. This new deli is very clean and organized, a lot of viet style snacks, spring rolls, etc. At $6 for the chicken bahn mi, it was adequate. Plenty of cilantro, jalapeño and cucumber. The pickled daikon and carrots appeared to be just daikon and not pickled so the sweet and tart contrast was missing from the savory sandwich. But it was much better than the sandwich from the deli previously occupying this space. I will be back to try some of the other offerings here. While I was waiting they loaded up a delivery van with catering for at least 30 people. I believe they were delivering, looked impressive. read more

Came upon this deli when I was running errands during my lunch break. I haven't had banh mi in a really long time and was suddenly having the craving for one. When I walked in, I was greeted by the cashier and she gave me time to explore and look at what they had to offer. All of the ready-made food looked so delicious! I ended up grabbing a shrimp spring roll and ordered a special banh mi. The service was excellent and I received my food quickly, which was perfect because I had to head back to work soon. The food was also very delicious! The spring rolls were super fresh and packed full of veggies and shrimp and the banh mi was perfect. The right amount of pate! For some reason I always forget banh mi is served with sliced jalapenos and the spice surprised me. I swear I've had banh mi before!
