    Tofu vermicelli

We went for dinner but towards the end of their closing hour. Food was ok, nothing wowed me. While conversations were flowing, I have yet seen a customer dine in. Again, maybe because it was past dinner time. I might give this place another go during the day time around lunch and order something else. That might change my perspective on their food quality.

Fried quail was so good. The service was okay. I kept having to get someone's attention to order something.

Customer service was ok, and pretty straight to the point! Although I was a little sad that I forgot to ask for egg noodles and my hu tieu came out with vermicelli noodles (the waiter didn't ask me which noodle I wanted). Food came out pretty quick! Hu tieu dry: I would probably like this more with egg noodles for more texture and mixing the sauce in. The liver was a bit chewy. But overall I liked the other components and the broth was very good Rare steak and brisket pho: broth was good, served with the usual veg, and the meat was pretty tender

    #12 Tumeric Noodle soup

My friends and I were visiting Seattle and settled on Vietnamese food for dinner. We were recommended Da Lat Quan because of their turmeric noodles. This place has a shared parking lot and was located in the corner of the plaza so you may miss it the first time around. Walking in, we were warmly greeted by the staff while a soothing song was playing in the background. I did like the authentic Vietnamese decoration theme. The establishment was empty so we were quickly seated. I ordered the #12 which was the tumeric noodles. It was definitely something I've never tried before but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. In fact, I thought it was good! The cracker was on the stale side though. The shrimp and spare ribs were delicious. The tumeric noodles itself had a good consistency and was complimented with the soup. Overall, I would come back to try a grilled pork dish if I'm ever in the Seattle area.

Goi Cuon, Shrimp Spring Rolls, now $9 (was $8) - 4 Stars

Da Lat Quan, aka Dalat Vietnamese Noodle on their receipt, is located in the same plaza as Hung Long grocery store in White Center. Parking is easy and plentiful, especially since some of the other businesses are closed by dinner time. We went on a hot day and opted to skip some of their more popular (and unusual) noodle soups. (Next time!) Anyway, the restaurant itself is showing its age, but not rundown or anything. Service was swift, and we had no issues. We visited in May, 3 months ago, and their prices had a jump according to their website. They seem to be higher than Little Saigon in International District now. Unfortunately The Food: Goi Cuon, Shrimp Spring Rolls, now $9 (was $8) - 4 Stars This is a shrimp or tofu option. We chose shrimp. It was standard fare and meets expectations. Bun Dac Biet, Vermicelli Combo, now $20 (was $17) - 3.5 Stars This is the combo version with grilled pork, short ribs, and egg roll. Both hubby and I ordered this. For me, it was a lot of meat. Other restaurants tend to include grilled shrimp and/or the shrimp meat around sugar cane for their combo version. But theirs have the short ribs, which is less common. It's still meat-meat-meat and not enough variety to be called a combo, in my opinion. In terms of cooking quality, it fit the bill. 4 Stars from hubby. 3 Stars from me. Thai Tea, now $6 (was $5) - 1 Star Their Thai tea tasted like it came from the can. It was perfectly pre-stirred and don't have the typical cream on the top and tea on the bottom look. It was already spendy at $5, and now it's $6. It was dumb of me to order Thai tea from a Viet place. Definitely won't do that again.

A good friend highly recommended I go here whenever I stop by West Seattle and I came here with a friend on a hot Sarurday evening. This place shares parking with a suoermarket and several other restaurants amd businesses nearby but parking surprisingly doesn't get too full. Otherwise, tight street parking is advised. There's many tables that seat bigger parties the deeper you get inside, and there's bar seating too. There's also a small stage at the front. My friend and I happened to come here during this place's 6-year anniversary, so there was live music while we ate. I got the com suon bo (beef short ribs with rice) with Thai iced tea on the side, and my friend got grilled pork vermicelli. Extremely solid taste and food, and beef was flavored so well! I was actually disappointed when I finished my dish, there isn't a better way to desribe how satisfied I was after eating, and the live music definitely added to the somewhat fancy vibe the restaurant gives off! I'll most likely order the same thing when I come back since it was one of the best I've had, but I'll alsp try the other stuff too!

Parking is a little challenging and run down, but once you're inside it's great. The food here was delicious. The space was open and they even had a bar. Get three soup and winds! It is great. The manager/owner is very sweet! Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation.

Ordered from Uber Eats. Food was packaged well, pho was good, and the spring rolls were delicious. I wish the broth had a little bit more flavor, but it is okay, this was still very good and well worth your money! Thank you

    Less noodles.

Not the first time you asked fir specific things and the kids who work there do not care. Most of the staffs are young and they dont care too much when the orders are wrong. Maybe stop hiring international students .

I don't eat vietnamese food often so I can't say I know what is authentic, but I thought the food here was really yummy! I thought that prices were reasonable and portions were pretty big. Our server was friendly and was happy to give us some advice on what to order! I would definitely come again to try their other dishes -- there are a lot of dishes I had not heard of before.

My friend and I were exploring a nearby restaurant due to a Kpop event. We were excited about trying Vietnamese food! I ordered the Seafood Pho, while my friend had the Quang Nam Noodles Soup and Shrimp and Pork Egg Rolls for our appetizer. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was excellent. A happy tummy and a wonderful memory for today!

Not just typical bar food. It seemed like the perfect happy hour place! I had some questions about spiciness of one of the entrees. But he didn't seem to know much about feedback about it. I ordered it anyway. It was a little more spicy than I'm used to but it was delicious. He stopped by to check on us more than halfway through the meal. I asked him for some ice and he promptly brought two cups. The patio was lovely! Not much of a view as they had a big fence blocking it, but it still felt very open and breezy. Very intimate and nicely decorated. I would have given five stars had the waiter been a little more welcoming and there were a few more dishes offered. The menu was paper and a bit worn. It made me wonder how many had touched it. Perhaps a QR code would work for them if they don't wish to laminate their menu. Or just put specials on a blackboard. Not just drinks.

These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. The seasonal veg was brussells sprouts which could have been roasted a bit more to crispy for me but that's a personal preference. This is way more satisfying than the food you'd get at your typical local bar. I've been to The Bridge a half dozen times and every time has delivered. Solid food. Good service. Great outdoor patio. Neighborhood vibes - the type of place where the bartenders know and recognize the locals, and the locals are regulars. I like that. It's a welcoming place, casual, laid back, and though I haven't been there during too many sports games, even when it's on, it doesn't seem to get too rowdy. Brunch is a must do, with options like the Benny flight. Definitely one of the less known brunch spots in my opinion, but even so, can still get busy so go early. Only reason I've done 4 stars is I've had a few times where service was a little slow. Would absolutely return again and again and have recommended to many friends. Keep up the great work team, may you be successful for many years to come.

The pasta was amazingly tender, cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor and depth in each bite, more of a deliciously earthy mac and cheese as opposed to maybe a velveety smooth creamy type. The jalapeños were fresh and soft to the bite, easy to cut with the side of a fork, loaded with components such as cashew cheddar, crema, avocado sauce, sweet pickled jalapeños, pico and cabbage slaw - all coming together perfectly in each bite (i'm utilizing their menu description) For the main dish, Sandi ordered the "Smokey Barbecue" which came with a complimentary side of chips and I ordered the Portobello French Dip and upgraded my side to a Side Salad for an extra $4. Each dish, every bite was delicious, even something as simple as a side salad was elevated with their Ginger Tahini dresing. Dipping the Portobello Sandwich into the Dip was just .. magical. I'm updated my review to reflect a recent takeout dining experience…read more A couple weeks ago, we ordered 2 salads, and 2 sandwiches. We ordered pickup. Upon arrival to our house, the order was incorrect, whoopsie! We called back and the waiter who answered mentioned that we had accidentally taken a staff meal home. None of our to-go boxes were labeled. How could anyone know? This is a rookie mistake. It's been a while since this Goblin worked in food, but that's a non-negotiable. Especially given a place that prides itself on catering to restricted diets and lifestyles. This is exactly how you let a pumpkin seed slide into a seed allergy order. Instead of letting us keep the meal, she asked us to bring it back to the restaurant. We were happy to do so. Everyone deserves to eat. Should we have kept it for ourselves? We bring the food back, and the waiter explains that there was a mixup, and apologized. They handed us another to-go box (which wasn't labeled) and tried to end the conversation. "Have a good night!" We had to then explain to this waiter that our wives demanded something in return for the error, which was true. The waiter/bartender had a puzzled look on their face. Customer? Demanding I make something right? In my workplace?! A direct statement void of passivity about the quality of my service? With conditions? The audacity! We live in a world where we, the customer, bring back your incorrect order for you, waste our time, and we just get a, "thanks, have a good night!" This goblin had to claw his way up the ranks pillaging for gold which doesn't come easy. Everyone knows food cost in Seattle went up ~%46 since 2019. Wages haven't. We told the waiter our wives wanted a slice of cake. The waiter was shook by our audacity, and moved towards the fridge behind the bar to consult with two chefs who were shutting it down. We were arriving near/at close on a Monday. The other two chefs body language exuded "just give them the rest of the cake". There was a couple moments of pause and hushed conversation. The waiter pulled out a large serving plate with only a small chunk of Chocolate Mousse Cake left. Instead of putting that into a box, apologizing, and fixing the problem. They conferred about the legitimacy of our claim with the chefs. Hesitantly, they cut the cake into a small slice, put it in a box (which wasn't labeled) and handed it to us. What's hilarious is that they would leave such a small piece going into the next day of prep. Why not just 86 it right there? Why was it so hard for this person to acknowledge they made a mistake, and do something kind for us in return? The chefs clearly understood these fundamental building blocks of customer service, had they not been there in the front of house, I'm sure the waiter would've made an excuse to not remedy the situation. From all of my years in food service, if something is wrong, you make it right, end of story. By owning the error, you keep your integrity. Even a small gesture like 10% off one item, between the hours of 7:35pm- 7:45pm every third Monday, however inconsequential and trivial, makes people feel like you've made things right. These basics need to be addressed with FOH staff. With food cost nearing the price of rent each month in Seattle, customers should feel empowered to speak their mind respectfully. My only reason for going into excruciating detail is the hope that this can be a teaching moment, and more people can eradicate passivity. Passivity is a threat to community, culture, service, and so many other integral parts of our society. It's OK to disagree in public. It's OK to check someone. It's OK to tell your server "No, honestly, it wasn't that good, here's why..". When we deny the truth about our experiences for fear of disrupting the status quo, we withhold an essential part of building stronger, more diverse and resilient communities. "Goblin D, don't you think this is a bit too deep for a food review?" No, and if you've made it this far, the two stars are for the two chefs who made sure we got our cake.
