Deep Fried Pork Spring Rolls, Salt and Pepper Squid, Well Done Brisket Rice Noodle Soup, Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup and Avocado smoothie
    Richa R.

Today's gloomy weather calls for some piping hot pho! Got me reminiscing about this delicious spread I got the other day with my sister :') We got the following: - 13. Deep Fried Pork Spring Rolls - 30. Salt and Pepper Squid - 213. Well Done Brisket Rice Noodle Soup - 227A. Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup - 979. Avocado smoothie Everything was so yummy and comforting, the portions were very generous. Our food came out quick and the service was great! Pho Mi 289 is definitely a well known family restaurant, you could tell they knew a lot of the people walking in whether it was takeout or dine in! They're definitely a hidden gem and I'm glad we stumbled across them, if you haven't tried them before make sure you check them out y'all :)

This restaurant is great for quick gatherings during work lunches with small or large groups. The prices are very reasonable, you will not spend more than $15 and you will leave satisfied. There service is really fast which is great if you're in your lunch break and can easily only be at the restaurant for 30 minutes if that's all you have. I like the selection of food offered, there's your typical pho, noodle bowls with BBQ meats and fried egg rolls and lots of Thai and stir fry available too. I do wish however that they would have more vegetarian options since I'm sure it's easy to BBQ some tofu and put in bowl. So far the only vegetarian dishes they have are the veggie soup, stir fry and fried noodles. There's probably only 4 options available. When you pay, note that you have to go to the front cash to pay and you will not get a receipt at your table.

Ordered today from Uber Eats because sadly we have no food at home and everybody is tired to cook. So I ordered my staple order which is beef with tripe pho and I also ordered a side of pork chop and a fillet of fish as we have cooked rice at home. As for the serving size, I am starting to think that we have shrink-flation now as the sizes or the serving sizes are shrinking. I did she that there was an ample amount of rice noodle however, the amount of beef and tripe was lacking. As for the taste, it was okay and tasted what you would expect from pho. The order from the store was $20.91 however since I ordered from Uber Eats. As I was tired from work and it was rainy, the order totalled to around $30.89. I should probably save more of my money but my stomach is happy and I think this is an okay purchases. The food was filling and it was a necessity. As for my recommendation, I keep saying now that I should just go to the store and buy in-store but buying from a delivery app is so convenient and I have to be more proactive in saving my money. Final thoughts is that my stomach is happy. However, improvements could be made on the portion size which might be impossible because of the increase in prices of everything. Update: review i ordered again the goat curry and although the taste was a little gamey, it was a good serving and it was good to try it out!

The quintessential place to get Vietnamese cuisine in Meadowvale at an affordable price. Price: The price point is good. A medium sized pho is $8.50 and it fills me up without making me feel bloated after. The dishes normally range in the $9-$12 range. Service: Service was okay. The service is only transactional but the food is always hot and comes out fairly fast. Food: The pho is delicious! Not too salty but still flavorful. The additional bean sprouts and lime help change up your palette while you eat. I also enjoy ordering their rice dishes. Atmosphere: The restaurant is inviting and is a fair size. There's enough space for big crowds to a party of two.

An extremely hot and muggy day today so we had to get out of the heat. Awhhhh, we were presented with a tall flask of cold water! Dinner was delicious and service was good. Food prices and portion size was very good. The metal ceiling amplified the customer conversations as the place filled up with patrons; somewhat deafening. We kept a great conversation going so that was a terrific distraction! All in all 4 stars.

I loved this place compared to most Pho places it was huge with lots to choose from. They offer you tea and the spring rolls were exactly the yellow ones I wanted. Service was good staff was friendly. Didn't gave to wait much for the bill just had to Pay at the front.

I quite enjoyed Pho Mi 289! I have been to the meadowvale plaza a few times but never tried this pho restaurant but I'm glad my friend and I. The interior is quite spacious, renovated and new looking. On a week day evening, there were quite a few occupied tables. Similar to other pho spots, there are like a million things on the menu and good thing the first few pages had some recommendations. I settled for my usual bun bo hue and my friend also had the same item. The difference was my dish had beef tendon in it and we both had medium rare beef and brisket. The soup was flavourful and satisfying especially on a cold day. The noodles are not the same pho noodles but the rounder rice noodles- I love these noodles, they were chewy and not overcooked! Normally with this dish at other pho places, they serve fresh purple cabbage but this one had regular cabbage and sprouts which was fine. We also shared the grilled pork fresh rolls and it was tasty. The only thing was the rice paper was a little harder than usual but our noodles dishes made it all up. No complaints with the staff, we were seated and served quickly. Also I was catching up with a friend and were never felt rushed to leave. We also were served more tea/water. I will be back when I am in the area!!

Pho mi pho you! My favourite pho chain in the mississauga area, but this one in particular is my favourite one! The moment you walk in this place is huge! This is one of the biggest if not thee biggest viet restaurant that I have ever been to. It has a very nice decor at the front and everything is nice and simple and very clean. One big reason that this is my favourite pho mi, it's the people that work there. All the employees there are great, they are very friendly and easy to talk to. There are two employees there that will always have me coming back; the one being the big boss, or the asian super mario as my one friend would say, is really friendly he makes really great suggestions when you have no idea what to eat. As well, when it's not busy he will come and sit at my table and talk to me and my friends for a while. The 2nd guy, is a younger guy, very friendly as well and he likes to tell jokes. On to the food, most people who come to this place its all about the vietnamese soup or pho. This is the biggest reason why most people come here, but if you don't want soup, the great thing about here is that there are so many options; from vietnamese, chinese, and thai food. One lil thing that I've noticed with the pho soup, is that the small and medium size soups are not that much different. The only difference I see is that the medium soup has more broth but the same amount of ingredients as the small. Am i right? Let me know.... Items to definitely get - fresh shrimp roll (12) - seafood soup (113) - pho house special (201) - vermicelli w/ grilled chicken and pork (423) - grilled chicken and pork on rice (506) - satay beef on rice (513) Yes, I know the number items on the menu. Kinda tells you how often I go here. :-p

It's your typical pho/Asian restaurant... 1. Walk in. 2. With a show of fingers, you tell them for how many people. 3. They point to a table for you to sit at. 4. They place menus on the table. 5. They serve tea. 6. You order. 7. Food comes. 8. You eat. 9. You pay. 10. You leave. Simple. There's very little interaction with the server unless you want something or if something is wrong. All they care about is you eating and paying lol Food was good but been to better pho restos. I ordered medium rare beef with beef balls and rice noodles. There was a good amount of meat and noodles buttttt still had better.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, and within five minutes it was completely full. My dad ordered the specialty beef bone rice noodle soup. A second bowl came out just for the bone--holy moly! His only complaint was the noodles; he didn't care for the wide noodles. My sister got the bún bò Huế. The broth was excellent and approved by my parents, and it came with a generous amount of meat. My mom ordered bún cá and really enjoyed her meal. Each soup-based dish came with a plate of fresh vegetables. I ordered the grilled specialty platter. It was a lot of food, but everything was delicious. I also tried the salted iced coffee, which was just okay. They accept cash or debit only.
