Large rare-beef Pho all dressed up and ready to enjoy!!!
    Peter M.

A busy little Pho place in Brampton. Got there shortly after 1PM but the place was still packed. It looked promising! YAH! Ended up in one of the most awkward seats right in front of the entrance. People waiting for seats. People coming and going and I really don't think it's easy to eat at crotch and butt level. Typical place. Lots of menu items. Something to please everyone. Noodles, rice, soup, snacks, drinks...you name it, they make it. I had the usual - pretty sure if you know me, you know what I had. Rare beef Pho with spring rolls. Ha! This time, I went with the fresh rolls. My friend does not eat pork so shrimps it was. Let me tell you...stick with the spring rolls. The fresh rolls was nothing to talk about here. Lacked everything! Some pieces of shrimps and lacklustre fillings. It was so not ready for serving as it stuck like glue to the plate and it was a challenge to get it off without tearing it to shreds. The Pho fared better. Needed lots of spices and add ins to get it where I needed the flavour to be. Nonetheless, the broth was surprising pretty good. The noodles were decent too. Minus the misfire on the rolls. This is an OK spot for a lunch. Just avoid the front table - they really shouldn't have a seat so close to the door. Maybe a fire hazard. Cheers.

Pho mi 66 is my local spot for great Vietnamese take-out. They're not on Skip or Ubereats, so I always order directly through their webpage and pick it up. They have great packaging for their pho, with the rice noodles, meat, veggies and broth all in seperate containers. Literally all I do when I get home is reheat the broth a bit and add in all the toppings. I've also ordered their rice dishes, smoothies/milkshakes and thai curries and they were all wonderful. My only negative comment would be on my last visit the broth was pretty plain-tasting, not like their usual flavorful taste. I'm hoping it was just an off night, because honestly they've always been great.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this little spot! As you first walk in, you will notice that the decor is a little outrageous for a little pho joint in a commercial plaza. Banquet hall chandeliers in a quick-bite pho spot? Umm... The unnecessary grandeur aside, the quality of the food is pretty great. We ordered the House Special XL bowl of pho ($10.75) with some Spring Rolls (2 for $6.00). I initially couldn't understand why the pho was so cheap, while the spring rolls were so expensive for only two pieces. Take a look at the picture--it speaks for itself. The House Special came with beef, beef balls and tripe. The broth itself was flavourful and not overly salty, which is always a plus. The spring rolls were definitely the highlight! They were generously filled with pork & taro and served with some fish sauce. The service was also quick and pleasant--as it should be. The food came two minutes after we ordered. We were in and out within 40 minutes. My biggest complaint is that the spoons smelled like bleach. Every single one! I ended up with a dozen spoons on the table, just because I was trying to find one that didn't smell like bleach. No luck! I get that the utensils have to be clean, but BLEACH? No, thank you. Would I return? Maybe. I would just have to bring my own utensils.

Interior. Chandeliers are so pretty! Everything is so clean and nice!

Always excited to try a new pho place, especially when it's local! The place is actually really pretty. I guess that fact that it's still new and everything is still clean and pristine helps too. First of all, they have a WIDE selection of food on their menu. It was almost TOO many things. Despite that, my friend and I both ordered the pork chop and chicken on rice (R7). This came out in record timing. I'd say it took about 7 minutes for the food to come lol, no joke. The food came with a side soup aka pho broth. I liked this touch. My usual pho place doesn't do this, so this was a one up for Pho Mi 66. The pork chop was good and the chicken was even better! Again, the chicken here was better than my usual spot. The meat portions aren't pinch either. I was definitely full. Will for sure come back! This will be one of my regular pho joints. Prices are on point too! So cheap!

Came here to grab a quick lunch and boy did the food come fast! I ordered the medium pho sac biet ($8.75). Now I usually would order a small but I was feeling extra hungry! However when I got my food I noticed the portion is quite small compared to other pho restaurants it looked more like a small. Not much noodles or beef, came with 2 ball beef balls but lots ifThe broth was flavourful and doesn't seem like there was much or any MSG as I didn't have to drink a lot of water after eating it. Restaurant looked nice and appeared to be clean but I did see some dirty spots at my table.

I've probably driven passed this place over 100 times and finally gave it a shot. The interior is one of thr nicest I've seen for a pho place, and it does make the dining experience a little more interesting. The food would hold up regardless imo. Came here on a Thursday evening around 7 with four adults and a baby. Happened to be seated in the corner booth which was nice. Menu has a lot of choice and pho comes in different sizes (can't remember which one we ordered but it was huge and we were able to share). I tried the Beef Stewed with Egg Noodle Soup - Mi Bo Kho (but subbed rice noodles instead). Broth was flavourful, had a bit of spice to it, but the best beef stew noodle I think is from Pho Pad Thai in Markham. The Special House Beef Rice Noodle Soup - Pho Dac Biet "66" is as good as many other pho places around thr city, and we tried some grilled pork and chicken vermicello dishes. I really liked the grilled pork, moreso than the chicken, which is surprising because I find that some places overcook the pork and it ends ul being dry - not here though. If you're unsure, I'd go with the Grilled Pork Chop and Chicken on Rice or vermicelli to see what you like the best. Spring rolls are worth a try too!

Loved everything about it. Food came fast. Loved the pickled Habanero sauce. Pho is decent. Didn't see bun bo hue on menu. Spring rolls are fantastic. ---------update------ Came to this place again. Really loved it again. Clean, high ceiling, really attentive servers. Found Bun Bo Hue this time. It is soooo good. Had the grilled pork rolls A1 and they were so fresh and flavourful. Almost had half jar of picked Habanero. Very authentic dishes. Officially my favourite pho place in GTA!

Service was good. Phõ was tasty. The fresh roll was big but not great. Fried roll was good. Clean place including the washroom.

    Great hot sauce selection!

Had dinner here last night and the food was warm, flavorful, and quick! I couldn't believe how fast my Tom Yum Noodle Soup came out of the kitchen. It tasted like it had been cooking for hours. The menu is extensive and so is the hot sauce selection. Pickled chilies, sambal, sriracha, homemade garlicky chili oil. My friend got the curry chicken and that was flavorful, too. I'd definitely come here again if I was in the area.

V4. BÁNH CANH XÀO CHAY THÁI LAN Vegetarian Stir Fried w/Udon Noodle "Thai Style"

The inside aesthetic is non-existent. The food looks delicious but is lacking in taste. Ordered the veggie udon noodles which had a weird smell. The menu also didn't state the udon noodles came with egg, whereas for the other dishes it was specifically stated. Food comes in very large quantity however. Tea was complimentary, but one of the tea cups was dirty and didn't look like it was cleaned after prior use. Would not recommend for vegetarians.

Pros. -Food was good -lots of parking -everything was clean and tidy -quick service -washrooms were clean -quick checkout Cons. -the server was topping off the condiments while I was eating. Reaching across the table -the serving for the drinks were a bit small. 3 bean dessert

Front desk, typical of pho joints.

Hello fellow foodies today I bring you an outstanding review for this Thai restaurant…read more Today during this horrible snow storm I 1/17/2022 I was reminiscing about my travels to Thailand, how nice and warm that country was and how amazing Thai food really is!!  So I had to get me some Pad Thai today! And ladies and gents was I ever glad I stopped into this place to grab some takeout today. After reading great reviews on Freshly Thai I had to drop in and grab some of their authentic Thai cuisine .They sit in a  free standing building almost in the downtown part of Brampton just on the north side of Queen St and the Main Street crossing. They have a huge patio for summer and plenty of seating on the inside. They do dining-in and takeout but under the current COVID restrictions there are some limitations. They claim to be fully authentic, gluten friendly and vegan friendly for those that require those options. There menu is quite authentic loaded will many options, from appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, curries, and some of their specialty dishes. Food 5/5 The "Pad Thai" was just phenomenal, just absolute fire! As authentic as the Pad Thai I had in Thailand! Rice noodles were freshly made not from dried frozen stuff you typically get, I mean this dish tasted fresh made to order, not reheated. It had a slight perfect sweetness to it with a hint of pepper heat, you could taste the sweat onions the green onions, the crispy bean sprouts with hints of basil, it was seasoned to perfection, I opted for the chicken Pad Thai, The chicken was very generously mixed into the rice noodles good thick cut pieces, perfectly tender and seasoned chicken. Just delicious, it was a decent size portion for one person but it was so good I probably would have fished two portions of it. It had a wonderful balance of flavour and textures from some of the crispy veggies and bean sprouts to the soft perfect rice noodles. Great dish! Service 5/5 The food was made fast, the service was very friendly and the price was within reason for this quality of food. Presentation was also very nice. Guys and gals if you're in the area and you want the best Thai food Brampton has to offer this is one of the places you must stop in to try.

We arrived shortly after noon and the place was pretty full, but we managed to snag a table near the back. Neither of us was especially hungry, so we opted to share a couple of dishes. We started with one of their specials, the Shrimp Donuts. My dining companion assumed they'd be actual donuts with shrimp flavors, but this is definitely not that. It's essentially shrimp pieces shaped into a deep-fried donut. And it's good, real good. It arrived to the table piping hot, and I took a big old bite right away. The flavors are right on point, and the whole thing is enhanced by the accompanying sweet sauce. It's a terrific appetizer (although awfully expensive at $12 for four of them). For our main, we went with the Khao Soi ("Soft and crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, spring onion, red onion, crispy shallot, lime, pickled veg") and we got that Spicy. It's a really solid version of this iconic dish. It's maybe not up there with the best adaptations I've had, but it's quite good. The broth is super flavorful and rich, while the other components are right on point. The spice level was perfect, too. The service was top notch, as well, so I have no doubt we'll be returning to Thai Barn Na at some point.

The satay chicken is a pass, pad thai is kind of sweet, and the khao soi is just fine. I will say these are on the slightly cheaper side compared to spots in Toronto (khao soi was ~$20?) Verdict: I think this place is alright for Mississauga, but being on Dundas Street, you're close to Toronto and you might as well go to a better Thai spot downtown haha.
