I'm finding myself struggling to write this review. Pho Mimosa has been a long time loved spot of mine and my family's since it opened way back when. Their staff, who were all family, was SO kind and knew us all by name since we were regulars. The veggie pho, spring rolls, papaya salad, and avocado smoothies were all favorites of mine! I always had an incredible experience. Maybe a year or two ago Pho Mimosa was taken over by new owners. There wasn't any change in the restaurant that indicated new owners, so I think it was a shock when the quality of service and food had diminished a little bit. My first visit in with new owners, part of my order was forgotten and we weren't tended to for a really long time. I was hoping that they just needed time to get into the swing of things. I visited again a few days ago, awhile after my initial visit with new owners. It was better! My food was good, but service was okay. It used to be my favorite spot in Snohomish but I think they'll need to step up a little more to live up to the old owners, which I feel bad saying, but to consumers, the restaurant looks the exact same so they need to be exceeding expectations. read more

Since quarantine we order from here all the time! We're vegetarian/vegan so I can only speak to the vegetarian dishes, but the service is always very fast and very friendly. We always get the tofu banh mi, and veggie pho and it's always delicious! Haven't had a bad experience at all. :) read more

Not a good experience We walked in the door of the mostly empty restaurtant and we're ignored for a good 5-10 minutes. When we finally got our menus and water, we watched our waitress talk on the cell phone. In fact, she was on the cell phone through out our entire visit. She sat in the dining area, not too far from our table talking away, ignoring us. We finally got our order and it tasted terrible. The food wasn't even the right color. On top of that, we didn't get our tea until we were ready to leave. We went to go pay our bill and she was STILL on the cell phone. I miss the old owners (the sisters). Too bad the new owners are ruining the reputation of the original Mimosa. We are definitely not coming back. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Pho. I had one of the best meals of my life just a few moments ago and had to leave a review. I had the pork gyozas and beef pho and it was phenomenal. Never in my life have I had a meal effect me so much, I almost cried while eating I was that happy with everything. The gyozas were crispy and crunchy with a delicious flavor, the pho was spectacular. The meat was so nice and tender; I could not stop drinking the broth it was all so amazing. I am from out of town so the only sad part of this experience is that I won't be able to go back. Please everyone go here!!! Best pho place ever of all times. I spoke to the owner & she explained to me that unlike other pho places, that only do it 8 hours or less, she soaks the beef bone from Wednesday to Saturday. All the veggies are super fresh. The noodles are cooked in room temperature (like they are supposed to be). They also use a wok instead of just a regular frying pan. 100% on every detail, no other place can do it better. read more

They recently changed owners and their pho recipe changed, not as rich with flavor anymore, just taste a lot of salt, no real "pho" seasonings that you can taste. Service has gotten really slow as well. The new owners are really nice and try to be accommodating, but I think they need to look at their ingredients they use in their Pho and perhaps hire another person to help during busy hours (lunch/dinner) read more

My family has been eating at this pho restaurant for years. Recently the management changed and we have been noticing differences in overall quality. In summary our recent visit went as follows... on a Monday night, after a long day at work, we decided to stop for a quick bite. We had out 13 month old with us. We arrived at 8:15 PM thinking we would have enough time to dine in. The scheduled closing time was 9:00 PM. The lady behind the cash register greeted us by saying "To go?" We just agreed at this point. When we were ordering we felt rushed. The food took 10 minutes to get to us, witch was quick. When she handed us the food over, I asked about condament (the normally stuff like housire and siracha) in the bag. She said it was in the bag. When we got home they definitely were not. I sent a family member back to pick some up and they closed early before 8:30 PM. At this point my soup was cold. We also found a thin small curly hair in one. It is safe to say they lost our business and we will be telling our friends and family about this experience. We have family members that have also found a fly or hair in their soup. I would avoid this restaurant and eat somewhere where they have better infection control and customer service. The one star is for the taste. read more

I was surprised by the number of reviews that said this place was bland, I've never felt like it was at all. I generally get option 13 I believe which is your basic beef pho, or Bun Bo Xao which is rice noodles with some veggies, egg roll, and sometimes meat depending on what you specifically order. Portions sizes are what you'd expect, the pho is very customizable and I usually can't finish my Bun Bo Xao. For the pho you can pick between small, medium, and large, (and maybe x-large) and you can also add extra noodles or extra meat. Everything is always plenty flavorful for me and I never feel like I have to add anything besides what is on the veggie plate for the pho. Their spring rolls are also good and pretty standard. I've gotten the Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea here and been pretty happy. The iced coffee takes a bit of time since they brew/frenchpress/whatever it fresh for you. Service is always really nice here. It's clean and very laid back. The menu isn't the most extensive for a Vietnamese place but you have your basics. They also have pad Thai and stir fry noodle dishes that aren't necessarily Vietnamese but good options for a varied crowd. The wait staff doesn't bombard your table or hover. Prices are very reasonable. I'm never disappointed and I feel like this place never over promises, and totally delivers. I'd recommend it! read more

I'm a huge lover of Vietnamese food, and this place does not disappoint! The fresh rolls (they call them summer rolls) are seriously the best I've ever had-- order the barbecue chicken in them and your mouth will thank you! And don't get me started on the peanut dipping sauce- super delicious! Five stars for the fresh rolls! The lemongrass noodle bowl and lemongrass chicken/tofu rice dish are also mouth watering! The pho is honestly not my favorite here, but it is a decent bowl. The broth seems to be lacking some seasoning and falls a little flat for me. But the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. Three stars for the pho. Overall, this place is one of my favorites- especially for the amazing summer rolls! read more

I really love pho and I know everyone uses a slightly different recipe for the broth but the pho I ordered here today didn't taste like it should AT ALL. It was too salty and no flavor. I threw away the two large orders I bought. I have ordered here several times and felt the quality of the soup went from good to terrible, which sucks because it's the only pho restaurant in town!! This is not the same Pho Mimosa and shouldn't have the ratings of the old management combined with this current restaurant. Pho Mimosa used to be a great place to enjoy Asian food. This current restaurant is under new management and unfortunately is not very good at all. Since this is the only Pho place in town I go here often. I always get the beef pho and my boyfriend always gets the chicken pad Thai. The pho broth I think is delicious and not bland at all. The chicken pad Thai can get super spicy so unless you like your mouth on fire order it with a spicy rating of 1. Our family favorite! the only Pho place in Snohomish, and their broth has great flavor, good portions and perfect for our climate. ..You must try the papaya Thai salad or the combo noodles with pork, shrimp, and rolls in the summer! YUM. We have been coming for 8 years and this family never dissapoints. Word of warning....their hot scale is definitely on the HOT side, tongue be aware. Well I can't speak for the rest of the food, but the pho leaves something to be desired... The broth wasn't that flavor-able, the noodles were undercooked, and the mung bean sprouts were bordering brown I normally go to pho than na in Monroe, Wa and it is insanely delicious!!! But they are closed on Monday and I was really craving pho, so I went here off a recommendation from someone else. It was good maybe for someone who hasn't tried other recipes, but I haven't found any as good as Pho than na in monroe anywhere and I'm glad I love close to so I can get it often. read more

NOTE: This review is only on the iced Vietnamese coffee w/milk (also known as ca phe sua da or cà phê sa á) Tasted like watered down Folgers instant coffee with watery milk! Complete opposite of what every other Vietnamese restaurant serves. I really enjoy the treat of iced Vietnamese coffees and have been getting them at various Vietnamese restaurants usually in Lynnwood, Everett, Edmonds areas. ...and they are all the same: wonderful small amount of thick dark coffee with condensed milk over ice...and delicious. But don't expect that at Pho Mimosa. I was handed an iced drink that LOOKED like, and TASTED like they filled half of the container with water (Normally, when you order a Vietnamese iced coffee, the drink is very small and doesn't really fill up a glass/cup...small and strong is how they always are). I asked the waitress if this was the correct drink and she verified with me twice that is was. Ughhhh...I tried drinking it but it was so nasty I had to pour it out. I ordered two of these drinks to go (to bring one back to my husband). What a waste of money. I poured mine out in the street and after my husband tried the other one, he poured it out into our kitchen sink. This makes me appreciate all the OTHER restaurants that make the Vietnamese iced coffee correctly. I am really surprised that their iced coffee was nothing like what it should have been. Too bad, as Pho Mimosa is so close to my house. I won't be going there though. read more

This place consistently surprises me. I've had their pho in the past which has always been pretty good but today I decided to branch out. I tried the #37 house special fried rice and the #42 Vietnamese crepes and again, surprise! The fried rice was recommended at 2 star heat because I asked for something in the middle. I don't think I've ever had spicy fried rice before, it's great! And at 2 stars it is actually spicy without being too hot to taste/painful. Essentially it's just hot enough to keep me from eating too much all at once ;) the flavor is really nice too, no soy sauce required. The Vietnamese crepes were good too, they don't travel super well (they get soft in the to-go box) but that was expected. And the bacon mixed in along with the shrimp and other good stuff? Yes please! Definitely a win. This place has consistently been good every time I go in, they're fairly quick for takeout orders, friendly, and not too expensive. This review might even be upgraded to 5 stars once I try more stuff on their menu. read more

Ordered take out here after leaving a nearby pumpkin patch. Ordered the house special fried rice with chicken and #27, the combo noodles. I personally thought the fried rice was a bit salty. 3 stars because they charged me $1.75 for take out?! I understand restaurants are charging take out boxes due to the pandemic but $1.75 for two boxes? I was charged 50 cents or $1 for 3-4 orders before, but sorry I will not come back again. read more

We came in at an embarrassingly late time in the evening and the servers/hosts were unbelievably accommodating and friendly. Not once did we feel unwelcome or that they wanted us to leave, which is rare for restaurants towards the closing hours. I eat at Mimosa probably twice to three times a month. I love the Pho, Buhn, fresh rolls and Pad Thai. It is nice to eat healthy and not greasy. Noodles are my comfort food. If you ever have a bad cold, pho is a great medicine! They have also been very flexible with my families allergies. It is very clean and I appreciate the clean bathrooms as well! read more

It was some of the worst food I can ever remember eating. All 6 different dishes were almost un-eatable. Phad thai was watery, ketchupy, not spicy at all. Pho was straight out of a box and tendon was rubbery and absolutely disgusting. Peanut sauce was bland and oddly colored. And the deep fried shrimp tasted like it was frozen before for sure and straight from a microwave. I'm not the one to not finish food but I absolutely could not finish my phad thai. And to top this all off, the servers took forever to take our order and everyone else's order, had head phones in and never refilled our waters. I would never recommend this place to anyone and would highly suggest to not waste your money and go literally any where else to eat. read more

I work near here at night and each time we're there an hour before closing. I like Pho but, it's the only place in Snohomish. Each time I've gone, I try to give it a chance and hope it'll be better (just want some good pho) but, I don't get that. This is now my favorite restaurant in all of Snohomish county. Really. Everything on the menu is very, very good and extremely fresh. The pho is pretty good, and so are the curries. The green mango salad is divine (I never use that word, but nothing else will suffice here) and pretty cheap too - you've gotta try it. The crispy chicken is one of my favorites and the fresh rolls are very good too. There are Vietnamese noodle bowls that include a skewer of grilled meat, and egg roll and some veggies - these are a great lunch choice if you are having trouble deciding what to get. I've never ordered anything that wasn't good at this restaurant. If I lived in Snohomish, I would come here even more often. The ambience of the place is very pleasant and the people are quite friendly too. read more

I drove up then drove away as I could not stand the horrible colors on the walls. The glowing green against purple is an insult to the food served here. Don't make the mistake I made and not give this place a shot. The green curry is awesome as is the Pho!!! Now if they can repaint this place to a peaceful color scheme then this would be a 5 star.
