I was a little let down by this place. I have heard good things. I ordered from Grubhub, the food was made really quick and was delivered fast. The flavors were lacking though. The steak and veggies seemed to have not much flavor at all, the rice on the bottom was really mushy. The pork meatballs were alright, but somehow lacked flavor as well. My favorite part of the meal was the fresh salad rolls, I ordered mine with grilled chicken. These were good! Came here on a Saturday night because I've been congested for a few weeks, and my man suggested we get pho, since we both love it. The atmosphere was pleasant, the interior is clean, nicely decorated with lanterns and cozy touches, and it feels much more spacious than a lot of Vietnamese spots. He ordered the ramen, octopus balls, and a Thai bubble tea, while I got the chicken pho, pork gyoza, and a lychee bubble tea. The gyoza had a nice crisp to it, but the chicken pho broth felt lacking in flavor, and the lychee boba tea was disappointing, it tasted way too milky, almost like just milk. When we finished eating, service was also a bit slow when it came to clearing plates and taking payment. Overall, the food just wasn't as flavorful as other pho places we like, so I personally wouldn't come back. read more

I love pho and this was a spot i haven't been to. The restaurant looks really nice inside with the traditional colorful decor hanging from the ceiling. We got a table quickly and we're served just as fast. I ended up getting the black garlic ramen. It was really good and hearty. The broth was very garlicky and had a slight peppery after taste. I also had the octopus balls. It had a smokey after taste to it. It wasn't really my thing even tho I love octopus. But over all I had a great time and I would come back and get some pho next time. read more

This place used to be amazing. The previous owners paid attention to detail and the food was authentic, fresh and flavorful. My family and I would eat here 2 times a week sometimes. We couldn't get enough. We had high hopes for the new owner and her family. For a while it was good. The portion sizes shrunk and the prices went up, but it was still good. The summer rolls were changed for the worse and the Thai peanut dipping sauce lost all its flavor, I'd just doctor it up. They started offering free delivery and it was perfect. The slight decrease in value and quality was well worth the convenience of having it at my front door. That has now stopped, the prices went up again and quality has decreased further. Yesterday we ordered Pho and summer rolls, picked it up and when we arrived home we discovered that all the Pho accompaniments were missing. The summer rolls were all lettuce and when we called to explain the issue, we were told they would give us extra next time. Pho isn't Pho without the sprouts, jalapeño, hoisin etc... It was broth,noodles and meat. Mediocre. Very sad. Will have to start looking for another Vietnamese spot. read more

Reasonably priced, good portions, delicious food. We tried a few different apps; edamame were cooked well, pork egg rolls were tasty (would benefit from more fixings), and the viet crepe was so good. We moved on to tonkatsu ramen which was hearty and flavorful with delicious pork slices. Chicken wonton noodle soup was a big hit with the kids, as was the chicken pho. The pho broth was mildly flavored, so if you prefer a heartier spiced version, this wasn't it. Lastly, the lemongrass steak cubes, nicely marinated with sautéed sweet rainbow peppers and onions. We decided to try this Vietnamese restaurant for the first time. Nice experience too. Upon entering, you'll notice a train attached to the restaurant. We thought it was an area to dine but it isn't. Onto the food and service. Food was delicious especially the Pho entrees and service was on point. Wait staff was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience there. Bathroom was super clean along with the rest of the restaurant. We'll definitely come back and yes we do recommend. Only downside for us was not too many beef/chicken appetizers but more pork selections of which we don't eat. read more

Love love TD Vietnam Palace. You are greeted with a sidecar out front and beautiful lanterns scattered around the ceiling inside the restaurant. We came here for Pho specifically as my wife and I love to eat it during the colder months. We started out with the pancake scallions and an order of the pork potstickers for an app, both fairly priced and delicious. I love the dipping sauce that it comes with, it's both savory and sweet. We each got a bowl of Pho with beef. Good size portion of pho, I love mine spicy with they accommodate. The meat is tender and juicy and I love the broth, believe me it does not go wasted. Kudos to our server Kate, she is attentive and willing to make flood recommendations, you can tell she loves her place. Next time we come I want to try the Bahn Mi, saw many folks getting it, I am enticed. This is our Pho staple! read more

I'll start by saying this is a nice, clean, nicely decorated restaurant with ample dining room, which I love in a world which is increasingly takeout only or just a handful of shabby tables. However, the booths are a bit weird as the gap between the seats and table is unusually large - I'd see how you feel about it and grab a table if it's unworkable. The food I would give a B/B+. The menu is a bit limited but covers the favorites, there is ramen also. I had vermicelli beef noodle salad lunch special, rare beef pho and pork barn mi for dinner. No complaints about the bahn mi it was great. I was not a fan of the beef in the vermicelli - it was a bit hard and chewy, the nuoc cham was a bit weak (ask for extra). They do get props though for a very generous and affordable lunch special! The pho beef was ok. I'm used to seeing large, lovely half-cooked slices of rare beef atop my pho. The beef in my pho was already cooked and mixed in. I went twice in one week and its was mostly deserted. The first time for lunch I had outstanding service from one server, but dinner later in the week the other server seemed more interested in their phone. Some friends of mine just moved to Stratford and they were sanding floors at their new house, so when I visited I picked up some lunch from TD Vietnam Palace. I had heard some great things about them already, so here was my chance to finally be in the area to check them out! I met one of the owners Kate and she was so nice and helped me with all of my questions on the menu. I ordered and highly recommend all of these items- 1. Jicama Rolls with Jicama, carrots, Chinese sausage, herbs, lettuce, hoisin sauce and chili sauce. 2. Beef Papaya Salad with fresh papaya, homemade pickled carrots and grilled marinated lemongrass beef, served with TD Soybean sauce. 3. Curry Beef Rice- Stir-fry marinated beef with chili, curry, onion, and lemongrass. (Spicy and DELICIOUS!) I also ordered a Boba tea with almond milk and honeydew- it was so refreshing! It didn't make it out of the parking lot it was so good! Next time I go, Kate recommended that I try the Chicken Pho and the Bahn Mi. I can't wait to return and try those next. TD Vietnam Palace was the perfect dinner spot for me while I was traveling through CT for work. I knew I had a lot of talking ahead of me on this trip and really wanted something warm and comforting on a cold January Connecticut night. The Pho Dac Biet was flavorful, filling, and came out so fast. The family running this restaurant were so attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed the summer rolls and hot tea, but the pho was the highlight. Plenty of parking outside which was nice. Safe area too. read more

I didn't get the opportunity to try them out. They were closed for something for a short time. Might have been for remodeling or something like that. I came here to finally try them out on February 12th 2020 but was disappointed that they were closed down. So my family used to go to TD Vietnam Palace all the time. We came in tonight and noticed a difference in music, lack of decor like before and the staff was different. When we ordered in Vietnamese, they didn't understand us and referred to the menu by item number. We ordered our usual Pho Tai and today it was completely off. Lack of flavor, not full bodied like before. Then we realized that the owners retired and sold the business to a Chinese group. Even the receipt was in Chinese now. While I have nothing against Chinese, this was not Vietnamese Pho like the past. I would rather they rebranded and offered chinese cuisine. Such a shame. Time to find another venue for Pho. This place looks like a hole in the wall but their food is amazing. I recommend it high. The service is excellent.

They finally are back, and open after a too long Pho-less season in Stratford. The location is spacious, bright, and... new. The menu is the same, as the quality of the food. Give them some time to readjust, and have patience with all the new workers. It will take a little while before food is served fast enough according to our high standards. Remember it is Vietnamese food, not fast food. It is good to have them back in Stratford. I'm looking forward to be here more often to enjoy some good Pho & Banh Mi. read more

This place is a cut above most Vietnamese places I've tried. The food is great. I found this place when I had strep throat and needed soup. Pho is the ultimate soothing soup to have when you are sick, definitely try it. Everything else on the menu is great too. The prices are so low, and you get so much delicious food for your money, I almost feel bad. The booths are large and very comfortable for dates, family outings or just going by yourself. Super cute family run pho place with two sweet elderly couple managing it. They were so nice and so accommodating. We were served delicious pho, packed with ingredients. Everything is made by hand, so your order might take a little bit of time; you'll have to plan accordingly. The server filled two takeout orders and took over 10 minutes to finally take our orders. We kept it very simple since it was a new restaurant for us. We've now been waiting for over 45 minutes and we just got our papaya boba! The couple that arrived after us got their order first and their order was wrong. The couple that arrived after us are just about done with their dinner and we have yet to see our food! Should we stay or should we go? We literally were about to walk out of the restaurant when the server finally arrived with our food (60 minutes) the Pho Chay followed by my Bun dac biet...was it worth the wait? I would certainly say no, because we've had way better at other places in Bridgeport for far less. My grilled food was cold and tasted pre-prepped. The soup was hot, but nothing more. The sauce for the vermicelli bowls lacked flavor (no chili flakes at all) and was just sour - not appetizing to say the least. Where were the ground peanuts?
