Another great lunch at Pho Ocean . I ate many pho's and Pho Ocean is by far the best. Real mom and pop atmosphere and the restaurant is always very clean . The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I visit the place for many years and was never disappointed. Thank you .

Love this place! This was my second time here, needed something healthy and delicious! This family run spot is a gem! Looking forward to going back soon! Thank you.

My experience at Pho Lavie was subpar. Our server was rude and slurping up her soup at the table next to ours while we and other tables waited to order. My soup was beyond greasy and the egg rolls were chewy and stale. Thr only redeeming quality were the veggies in my soup were crisp and fresh.

I've been coming here for about 7 months religiously now, the PHO is fantastic !! SUPER CLEAN !! Veggies always fresh. Service AMAZING. I love that it's family owned & everyone helps each-other out. The wife just had a baby in august and is back at Work literally in September... truly remarkable! The husband who wears a black hat all the time is really nice as well, I added chili oil to my pho one day and nearly died at every slurp I took and he educated me that it's best to sip it or else... it'll burn

Great service and the food was fresh and tasty. Big servings. The Chicken pad tai was flavorful. And the chicken Pho was delicious too with the fresh condiments on the side.

Not always easy to find vegan food. We lucked out with this restaurant. They offered at least 10 vegetarian entrees and all but 1 was also vegan. Portions were generous and extremely. Flavorful. There are about 10 tables. The owners are a husband and wife team. Vi (the husband) does the cooking and his wife Quyen served us. If you are in the Pompano Beach area definitely try them out.

A friend of mine is Vietnamese and recommended this authentic family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Off the beaten path, Pho Lavie is tucked away in the Bealls strip center on Sample Rd and Federal Hwy in Pompano. There's plenty of free parking. Staff at this family-owned restaurant is very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We ate in the dining room. There were only 2 other tables, and they were spaced far away from us. We were seated immediately and given menus and water. Started with an order of Summer Rolls. 4 large shrimp in each roll with pork, lettuce, noodles, and a hint of mint rolled in rice paper. Served with homemade peanut sauce. Amazing way to start the meal! They were light and packed with flavor. Pho was delicious and the portions were huge! #19 Seafood Pho - was packed with shrimp, squid, scallops, rice noodles and vegetables. The broth was rich with flavor. #15 Pho Ga Nuong - Grilled Chicken Pho was fantastic. The aroma from the broth was delicious and it came packed with noodles and broccoli. A plate of grilled chicken accompanied the dish as well as a plate of fresh crisp bean sprouts, basil, cilantro and lime. Hot chili oil is also on the table to give it a little bite. Large menu with lots of other dishes to try and a nice vegetarian selection. Delicious food...I will be back.

Stopped by here last night to enjoy some hot pho. The place was nice, very quiet place with low lights. There was only 1 server attending everyone but the food did come out fast. I ordered a number 17, grilled pork pho and my boyfriend ordered a number 12, beef mix pho. They were both delicious full of flavor. I will definitely recommend this place to have pho. I'm not sure about the rest of the menu so that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Really is the best viet food in Fort Lauderdale. Fair prices. Delicious food. Exactly what we were hoping for when we vacationed in Fort Lauderdale. We came in around 3pm and it was empty so we were seated immediately. We placed our order and it came out so fast like in 5-7 minutes. So amazing. I miss it. We ordered pho tai, bun thit nuong, bo luc lac, and spring rolls. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee ca phe su da. Yummy. Highly recommend the bo luc lac not many places I've been to put potato in it and I love potato so much so I was so happy to have that included. The beef is so tender and the flavor is amazing especially paired with the refreshing cucumber. We got fried rice instead of white rice for a small charge but it was so yummy. You can't go wrong with ordering anything overall so definitely stop by if you have the chance. Probably was the best place we ate in all of Fort Lauderdale in our little vacay. Most satisfied with that meal. We had no leftovers after.

Now this little Hidden Gem is a Hidden Gem. I took my friend who is a Vietnamese food virgin for lunch today and he really enjoyed it and of course I did too we had number 25 he had all shrimp I had shrimp and pork , the dish could have been hotter in temperature but still tasty at room temperature . and they're fried spring rolls are egg rolls or whatever, everything was good. everything is clean and neat when we walked in nobody was eating in the restaurant at the time then three tables filled up. the owner who is very nice wearing a mask seem to be doing everything, cleaning the tables, waiting on the tables, taking the cash, he's a nice man and a hard worker. it's a great little restaurant in the shopping center on Federal Highway where where Bealls is Angel Nails and a cross from the Dunkin Donuts and Duffy's as well.

Even the small was pretty big and more than enough for one person. They also have an extensive menu beyond pho, plus a good selection of bubble teas and drinks, so there are a lot of options depending on what you're in the mood for. I will say -- it didn't have quite as much seafood as I'm used to seeing in the bowl. And the plate of greens looked a little tired, like it had spent a bit too long in the fridge uncovered; some of the leaves and sprouts were starting to brown. Even the two slivers of lime were brown on the edges . They were also out of Thai basil. But then there's the broth. Deep. Rich. Layered. Whatever small shortcomings showed up today disappeared the second I started eating. It was absolutely delicious -- complex, savory, and exactly why I keep coming back. The place was packed on a Wednesday night. Lights too bright and noisier than usual. My server - a very sweet young guy - seemed overwhelmed and he never checked back in. I had to flag him down to get the bill. Still... when the broth is that good, the rest is inconsequential. Even on an "off" day, Pho 954 delivers where it counts. Not all Vietnamese restaurants in this area offer Bò Kho on their menu. So, I often make a special trip to Pho 954 for the Bò Kho. This is Vietnamese Beef Stew, served either with rice noodles or with crispy baguette. I always order mine with rice noodles. Bò Kho is a dish with complex flavors made with lemongrass, fresh ginger, five star anise, and cinnamon. It takes a while to cook. I made it once: it turned out great, but was more work than I'd care to repeat! The wait staff is courteous and friendly. Service is very prompt. Finally, I love the fact that there are some nice Vietnamese beverages on the menu, such as iced Vietnamese coffee and salted lemonade.

When I called, the woman at the counter answered. I asked for Mi Bo Kho, but she had trouble understanding what I was requesting. Maybe my pronunciation wasn't perfect, but I'm pretty sure it was close. I repeated "Mi Bo Kho" three times. Right after that, she was about to hang up, and I said, "Wait, I'm not finished with my order." She replied, "Ok, go ahead." I asked for extra noodles and extra meat. She then asked me what meat. Since Bo Kho only comes with one meat, I said, "The same meat that comes in Bo Kho." She said, "Ok, see you soon." I drove over to pick it up and told them I had ordered the Bo Kho. The guy asked, "3 items?" I said no, I only ordered Bo Kho. He handed me the bag (my mistake for not checking the receipt), I paid, and then I drove home--about 24 minutes. When I got home and opened the bag, it wasn't Mi Bo Kho. It was Pho Bo Vien. Totally different dish, not even the same soup. I called and asked for a refund. The owner told me he can't do that, but he can give me another soup next time I come in. I don't WANT to come in another time--I wanted Bo Kho TODAY, which is the whole reason I ordered from this place specifically. He also suggested I come back to swap it, but I explained: you're 25 minutes away, and it was already 8:45pm. They close at 9pm. Needless to say, I won't be back. Also, the Pho Bo Vien came with NO cilantro, no culantro, and no sriracha or spicy oil. C'mon... that's a staple with pho. And lettuce was substituted for culantro... yes, lettuce.
