I visited this restaurant with my son and overall the food was good, but the service and some details could definitely improve. We both ordered the chicken pho as part of the lunch combo, which includes a canned soda and two rolls. The pho was very good and the rolls were tasty. However, when they brought the food, they gave my son three rolls and I didn't receive mine. I had to call the waitress over to ask about it. She apologized and brought the missing roll afterwards. I also ordered a lemonade, which I thought was very expensive at $5.99. It comes in a sealed plastic cup and is not refillable, and the cup was about half full of ice. Considering the size of the cup, it felt overpriced. Later I ordered some food to go: orange chicken with steamed rice and beef with Chinese broccoli, and both portions looked well served. One thing I did not like was that the waitress never came to check on us even once during the meal. Each time we needed something, I had to call her over myself. Another issue was the table. It was extremely sticky. I'm not sure if it was from the cleaning cloths they use, but everything stuck to the table, even the plastic bag with the utensils. The restaurant is small and the tables are very close together, and you also have to wait for the waitresses to seat you. It seemed like there were only one or two waitresses for the whole place. The jalapeños served with the pho were extremely spicy, and that says a lot because I'm Mexican and used to spicy food. One thing that was also unusual is that they don't bring the check to the table. Even if you ask for it, they tell you to go pay at the front counter, and when you ask for the receipt they only show the total amount, not the itemized charges. Overall, the food tasted good, but the service, table cleanliness, and billing process could definitely be improved.

The broth was sooo delicious, the meat was tender and lean, the noodles were spot on, overall an amazing experience I devoured the whole thing. The service was fast and attentive, they delivered our food to the table pretty quickly after ordering. I had the P3 and my boyfriend had the P6 we both got large bowls and we both ate absolutely everything. He had the passion fruit tea and said it was sweet and refreshing. Very calming music inside and there's plenty of parking. They have a bunch of orchids lining the windows which I loved. 10/10 experience in every regard. If you're wanting something to soothe your stomach and soul this is it!

20/10 experience! Delicious food! I got the Pad Thai with chicken, shrimp, and tofu and it was satisfying and a very generous portion. My friend got the Seafood Stir Fry and I couldn't stop picking off her plate too - soo yummy and also a generous portion! Service was as good as you can get and then some. Bryan was incredible! He had jokes on deck, very knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. He is the son of the owner and had great recommendations. They were out of dessert rice balls so we got what he recommended, the Grass Jelly Dessert and omg. I'm still thinking about it the next day. That dessert changed my life! It tasted like the best parts of the end of a brown sugar creamy boba drink. It takes 15 minutes to prepare and is worth every minute. The perfect way to end a warm, hearty meal is with the cooling, creamy, balancing Grass Jelly Dessert. The shaved ice and little taro gummy balls in there were my favorite! The ambiance was beautiful as well. Gorgeous, orchids dressed in elegant charms decorate the windows and counter tops. The overall vibe is very cozy, welcoming and relaxing. Perfect lowkey place to enjoy a comforting meal. Incredible experience, we will happily join the club of regulars as we have so much more to try. Run don't walk to Pho Old Town!

Food was so good, and the service was A1 and attentive! I loved the art inside the restaurant and the pleasant jazz atmosphere. Will be coming here again.

Very good restaurant! I've tried pho in the past and it was very good vegetarian pho! Definitely recommended for veggie lovers! Since they have good amount of varieties I got to try more options! I enjoyed the service and I like the modern classic vibe there! Lovely place to be! Cheers

This location is very nicely decorated. I was greeted upon entry. They had some smooth music playing and a very nice wine selection. I ordered to go and my food didn't take long at all. I love supporting local businesses.

The peach tea is so refreshing, I swear It taste like summer if summer is a flavor, bottom line, it was phenomenal. The fry twisted dough stick (banh giò cháu quảy) is so fresh, you can tell they just fry it. Some place would premade it and then refry it over and over hence the twisted dough would be very dry, but not here at Pho Old Town! Their twisted dough is fresh and you can tell it fry in new oil. I save the best for last! Omg you HAVE to order the combination pho! It so flavorful... I have no words to describe it. The noddle texture is just right, still chewy but soft; some other pho place would either over cook or under cook it. This is just perfect all the meat in it is soft and fresh, especially the brisket, it so tender it almost melt in my mouth. Right after that the grass jelly dessert came out and wow it took our breath away, the texture is fun to chew and the light sweet milk flavor really helps cool down from Texas heat. You really should get one in the summer to try, trust me you won't regret it (). We were told they were understaff at the moment, but I wouldn't even realize it, if they didn't say so. We were greeted at the door by two lovely angels, who so sweet to patiently wait on us as we indecisively go back and forth on the menu. We will be back for sure, the ambience is so chill and relax, the inside is clean and spacious; the art inside is another extra for Insta customer who want some pretty selfie. It so nice inside I upload some picture for all to enjoy.

Children's plate is $7.75 for pho. It literally has the noodles and 3 pieces of beef. Nothing else. No vegetables, no condiments. What a disappointment. Not even a piece of lime with it.

This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

We saw on the door that they're BYOB? Thai Green Tea (4.5/5): Really sweet but with some pretty unique grassy/herbal notes! (Pandan??) Would recommend if they can adjust the sweetness down a notch. We let the ice melt a bit and it made for a great palatte cleanser. Banh Xeo (4.5/5): Definitely one of their signature dishes. I read the reviews on how large it was and it was still shocking! See my hand for reference. It's crispy and delicious. Two downsides: Not enough protein, and not enough lettuce to make wraps with how big it is. But overall, definitely one of the best I've had outside of homemade. Banh Khot (4/5): These little flavor explosions are a perfect bite size and are also a signature dish. Would definitely recommend. A few of ours were light on the pork. Banh Bot Chien (3.5/5): I was dying to try this since there is really one famous spot for it. Their version is very good, but misses on the crispiness. The inside texture and pairing sauces and radish were all very good, it just needed a little more crisp. I love that they give extra garlic and spice and basically let you customize the intensity of your fish sauce to your preference. Paid with no issues via inKind at the counter. We definitely left stuffed and would come back!

We've always loved the atmosphere and the flavors, and being on InKind only makes it even more worthwhile. We came around 8:10 PM, not realizing they closed at 8:45 PM. We felt really bad, but they were very accommodating and reassuring nonetheless. Nước Mía và Tắc ($7) - Very sweet and refreshing--one of my go-to places for this drink. It reminds me of Vietnam every time I have it. My mom said it still isn't quite as good as the fresh sugarcane juice back in Vietnam, but both my brother and I love it. It's probably about as close as we'll get with the importing. Bún Bò Huế - My mom and I both agreed that the broth wasn't as rich as we'd like, and I don't think it's their highlight dish. That said, it was still a delicious and filling meal. Served with the traditional red cabbage. Phở Đặc Biệt - Still one of my favorite pho places because of their light broth. I always feel like I get great value here for the amount of food they give you. The meat cuts were especially good today. Bánh Mì Bò Né - My brother's go-to order. I've had it multiple times and have always enjoyed it, but today was definitely soup-energy. Bún Thịt Nướng - I didn't have this one, but the person who ordered it said they enjoyed it! Overall, this place continues to be one of my family's reliable Vietnamese spots. The meat in both broth dishes was especially good this visit, and despite us coming so close to closing, they never made us feel rushed. We'll definitely keep coming back.

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better. Plus we dined in around Fall time in 2025 so I think the place would have so change with out last experience

My go-to order is the Bún Thịt Nướng (B2) -- the grilled pork is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the noodles are light, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh. I also love the garden rolls with pork or shrimp. What really sets them apart are the sauces: tangy, balanced, and flavorful without being overly sweet.
