Cute little spot. Upon entering we were promptly greeted as we approached the counter to order. The young lady serving us, was very polite and assisted us with making our selections. We ordered 2 bulgogi Banh Mi, 1 chicken Banh Mi, the chicken tacos, the chicken Summer Rolls and a Thai iced tea. Everything was good. I thought the bulgogi would be my favorite but to my surprise, it was the chicken. The chicken was extremely flavorful. Back again before I posted this review. This time I ordered the tacos again both chicken & beef, honey glaze salmon, lemon grass beef & rice, and lemongrass chicken vermicelli. Oh and I got the veggie spring rolls. Glad we finally tried our local pho place! We ordered the shrimp rolls, beef pho, and chicken banh mi- all were very good. I gave the tripe a try with the pho but was not a fan of it, so the next time we came I got the P3 with just eye of round and brisket and was very happy. If dining in, you order at the counter and they will bring out the food to you. In that situation I don't normally expect the employees to check in and see how you're doing after starting to eat, but this restaurant did and I was impressed. The interior is large with a decent amount of seating, so good for small and large groups. read more

It's a solid dining option. I actually prefer their subs and would rate that a solid 5, but the menu overall with various dishes I have tried is ok. You will not leave hungry! I enjoy their coconut water a lot as well. Definitely the best dining option in the immediate area. This is a casual dining option where you order your food and then grab a seat for them to bring it to you. Do not expect a full service with a lot of touching in on water etc. I wouldn't change the concept, but I think reading past reviews it helps to know the type of experience they offer. Great pho and banh mi! I've been here several times and had the beef pho ($13 for a small), beef bulgogi banh mi ($9), and summer rolls ($6) which have all been super good. Everything is reasonably priced, pretty average for pho and banh mi. There is plenty of seating and it's very spacious. It is newly remodeled and very new with a cool bar area but I've never seen it open. You order at a counter and then sit. It is usually pretty quick but it does get pretty busy around lunch time. So you were aiming to go to the Chinese dim sum restaurant a couple of doors up in the same Shopping Plaza and they were kind of dismissive so we left and went here instead. They also have chili sauce squeeze bottles at the table in addition to the usual hoisin and sriracha. Another restaurant with the annoying tip screen which they turn around and make you enter. This place was really nice inside. Very spacious and I was shocked when I saw a whole hand washing station in the back (completely separate from the bathrooms). But it's nice to be able to wash your hands right there before seasoning your pho (handling limes, basil, etc.). The pho itself was a bit pricey but very good. The spicy broth was very flavorful. First time trying this place out, walked in, seeing 2 staff just sitting at a table, I stated table for 1, and then one of the girl didn't say anything and just walks to the register, I'm confused because I wasn't taken to any seat, and then she just points to the register. She then says you order here, so I asked you want a customer to stand there holding everyone else up while they're trying to explore your menu...This is a service restaurant I thought, not a fast food or take out Chinese. I then said can I not sit down and take my time to go over the menu? But she didn't try to seat me or anything, once again I've never been to a Vietnamese restaurant where there isn't a server taking your order at the table, so now I can tell she's starting to get irritated, but instead of clearly explaining that it's pretty much a self serve establishment, she just points to a basket of menu and tells me to sit at a table. I didn't know if there was any particular table or area she wanted to be, otherwise I would have already sat myself. If this is a self serve establishment, the staff needs to be able to clearly and politely explain to patrons, not get rude. I ended up grabbing a menu from the basket and sat myself, but I just couldn't bring myself to support an establishment with 0 management of how to treat customers so I just had to walk out. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to their Bun Bo Hue based on some reviews. read more

Average pho place! We were craving some soup after our flight so decided to stop here. I got the Tom yum pho since it was the only Vegan pho option from what I saw. It was a big portion for sure! I only ended up finishing half and taking the other home. I wish it was spicier but flavors were there for sure. Since it's close by we definitely plan to try it a few more times to see how it is. This place has elevated itself over the years. It's been a family owned and operated business since 2014. Back in 2014, it was a rather dull, decluttered and spacious restaurant (about 4200 square feet of just tables and chairs) serving up some bomb a** Pho and bánh mi. Since then, the family has upgraded the entire planogram of the restaurant--adding a large lounge area and bar. The menu has also extended to include rice and noodle dishes, rice paper wrapped rolls, steamed pork buns, tacos, fried food and bubble teas. They have even added "farm-to-table" ice cream! On 20 October 2023, I ordered takeout from Pho One. The lady who took My order was very friendly. After she took my order she invited me to wait the lounge or to come back in 20 minutes. We had the opportunity to visit recently and enjoyed what we ordered. The pork vermicelli was tasty, with a lot of tender pork. The noodles were a bit overcooked, which isn't usually the case at other restaurants. The pho was quite good, with a lot of meat. We also enjoyed the summer rolls. Will definitely return. read more

Do not come unless you have to...When you opder a large Pho, there is NO bean sprout, hot pepper, basil leaves unless you ask. Not to mention the soul of my Pho soup gone wild...it taste sweet...I would not recommend this restaurant if you are look for authentic Vietnamese food. Went for lunch today with my dad because he heard the tacos here were great-- and they were! We got the chicken tacos and they were amazing. Very colorful, fresh, and tasty. They come with jalapeños, but easy to remove yourself if you don't like too much spice. What I really wanted to write a review about, though, was the service we got. I didn't catch their names, but the three girls that were working today were amazing. They were extremely friendly and welcoming, gave very quick service, and were very patient with us taking some time to order because we hadn't been there before. I appreciate that last part so much. I hope the owner takes care of these three girls in particular because they were AWESOME and made our lunch experience fantastic. Thank you ladies so much! read more

This is my second visit to the restaurant and am new to trying Vietnamese cuisine. I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere was decent with TVs playing sports stations and low music playing. I came solo on an early Sunday afternoon and was assigned a seat in the corner next to a large table (10+ guests). This didn't bother me much initially but there were other smaller tables open as well and the larger table was noisy. I live 3 mins away so the location is ideal. In search of a good Pho restaurant, Pho One-O was recommended by a friend. Pho is soothing comfort food at it's best, and finding a restaurant that makes a good stock isn't as easy as you might think. This was a different experience from all the other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to; though my understanding is that it's much more (lounge, night club). They have a full bar and small lounge area in addition to a large dining area. They are close to Fort Mead, so there were a lot of military men and women. The restaurant was full, and they kept a steady flow of patrons, which was promising. First, you order and pay at the counter, then sit at a numbered table where a server will bring your drink and food. The drinks were being served as we were being seated. There was a buzzer at the table to call for a server if needed. We didn't use it, so I don't know how efficient they are at responding to it. The spring rolls with peanut sauce came out pretty quick. They were cool, fresh and meaty, but the peanut sauce was a little salty, which was disappointing. The soup comes in small and large. I ordered a small Pho Ga (Vietnamese version of Chicken Noodle Soup). The broth was pretty good; light and clean with flat rice noodles, and the chicken was moist and cut in small bite size strips (my favorite size). The side of fresh herbs that they serve for the soup was a little skimpy for two, but we made it work. read more

Found this restaurant while wandering to find authentic food, almost went to Lima until I saw them. Their name was familiar as grub hub had just delivered their pho to my house. I was excited I could now get pho delivered. It was properly packed and it was a good amount. I was elated. I approach, still reluctant that this was what I wanted for dinner, but a signed stopped me. They had a seafood boil. A SEAFOOD BOIL?! But wait. I take a Chance. This place is in a strip mall so I'm expecting a lackluster funky dink outdated spot. Ohhhhh nooooo. Ummm... this place is hip. I looked around like, "oh Todo, we are not in Kansas anymore." Oh it's nice. Like really nice inside. It's got a mini lounge area, a bar tons of seating. You can dine in & carry out. Staff is super friendly. Owners do walk through a a few times to make sure you are satisfied AND to suggest preparation after you've ordered. I was impressed. So, I order. I got iced Thai tea and told my waitress... keep them coming. Spring rolls (I actually never got this but I'll explain why). 1 lb of snow crab legs and 1lbs of crawfish w/ lemon pepper sauce (never got this either). Lol The boil bags come with 1 ear of corn & 1 potato per bag. I wanted to add a boiled egg but they didn't offer that. So HOW now brown cow am I giving a restaurant a 5 star when you didn't get your order. Let me explain..... so, I'm by myself. It's me, my AirPods & my iPhone , that I have propped so I can watch a movie on Netflix while there. I order and am now watching my movie but I'm interrupted. The owner mosies over with: I see you ordered XYZ and you may want to get ABC, more bang for your buck and trust me you want the special pho sauce. Get your other sauce on the side. I agreed. I said, you know best, bring me whatever. I hadn't eaten all day. You could have served me a wheatgrass popscicle at that point, I would have agreed. They prep my table for eating the boil, serve me my tea and I'm swinging my feet watching my movie, happy as a clam until...... the owner comes over with this massive pan of food. I'm confused. What did I agreed to. This pan vs me... other patrons aren't prepared. I mean we ARE in a viatnamese restaurant and I've got a pan full of a mound of seafood. It literally stopped people in their tracks. They stopped, took pics, made comments. Per them, "I must really love seafood, this must be my best day, I'm living my best life, I'm a lucky duck". People marveled as if I was sitting in front of gold. In my pan was: corn, potatoes, shrimp, andouille sausage, crawfish, snow crab legs & whole crabs drenched in butter sauce that has orange slices mixed in the boil I got upgraded. I ask for extra lemon and I dig in. I'm having my own non IG mukbang. I later learn, this is only day 2 of this being offered. Did I finish? Heck No!!! All that food how would I? I left satiated, not full. I got tired of eating. I was eating for over an hour straight lol. Service was personable, the seafood boil addition to the menu was genius, food hit the spot. There's no seafood boil place nearby. This is the only one unless you do yours at home. I'd come here solo, on a date, with friends. I'd definitely come back and you should come to. We walked in and we were greeted super friendly staff and the ordering is super easy! you walk in order at the front and then have a seat. They bring your food and we were checked on a couple times ensure that what we had was what we asked for and that we were happy with our orders. This location also has multiple TVs with different sports channels playing. This was perfect for my hubby and I. My husband and I also really enjoyed the spring rolls they were chicken and delicious! As you might've noticed from my review history for Pho One O, I've been a customer for quite awhile, and the lack of consistency & shrinking portion sizes are huge pet peeves of mine. Now that they're available via a local food delivery service, I've been ordering more frequently. There were some issues at the start of that, particularly with changes to the sauce portions and an initial order or two where they didn't read my requests to remove the tripe & include additional sauce packets. I'd like to note that they've been getting *much better* about consistency, portion sizes & including the extra sauce packets. Ideally, though, they should include at least two of each sauce packet as standard, because they play a pretty large part in pho flavor layering. The protein portions are now also large enough to warrant ordering extra noodles, so you can enjoy their pho at least twice per order. Unless you're really, really hungry. My only nitpick with my most recent order is that the richness & depth of flavor was noticeably absent from the broth. It tasted very much like standard boxed or canned beef broth with a smidge of additional flavoring. Hopefully it's just an anomaly, because the broth *is* the rich base that all of the other layers of flavor and texture rely on. read more

Ordered 2x in one week. That's how good it was. My first time ordering, I ordered every single "roll" on the menu and the Thai iced tea. I took no pictures because they were inhaled by my SO and I. My favorite was the grilled chicken roll. The second time ordering I ordered combination fried rice, chicken & broccoli, and the Thai iced tea again because it was delicious. The fried rice came with Chinese sausage, egg, beef, and shrimp. The beef was tender and the shrimp were huge. I didn't not taste the chicken and broccoli but it smelled Devine. This place is a lot bigger then I expected. I did take away only and my food was ready. We did shaking beef, vermicelli lemongrass chicken, and did pho too. I know this should be a good pho place but maybe I stink at making it at home, or something but it was just kinda meh. I would however give them another try because the rest of the dishes seemed good. Also the pork bun was really good and reminded me of my food in Asia. I come here at least once a week or on the day's I don't feel like driving to Thai of Waugh Chapel. We ordered the beef, tofu and veggie Pho (large). I will say it was great even though I had to go to Food Lion to buy bean sprouts since they ran out. We enjoyed the soup as the rain came down..
