If you are anything like me and have had Filipino food on very rare occasions, you'll be as confused as I was. I wanted to try everything. I asked the cashier what was the most popular and she suggested the Pancit & 5 pc Lumpia. So I got that and the Halo Halo. The pancit is a glass noodle stir fry w/ chicken, pork and veggies. The lumpia is pretty much like a spring roll. The Halo Halo is a dessert/ drink that consists of beans, jello, potatoes, corn, condensed milk, shaved ice and topped w/ ube ice cream. Both were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more. Komida is located inside Marley Station Mall next to the movie theaters and across from Auntie Annie's.

The customer service was great. The lady who was helping me out at first was very sweet. They were all very nice and were patient with me since it was my first time. They recommended a lot of their popular dishes. I decided to get the pork menudo and chicken adobo with a side of garlic rice. I loved the menudo it taste just like a beef stew, it was very flavorful and taste like something home cooked. The adobo chicken was good as well it was a safe first time try. Since I got the combo platter it came with the choice of rice or garlic rice, egg, and a side of soup. The soup was a nice side, it has cabbage, carrots, and celery. I really liked the simplicity and it paired well with the rest of the meal. The lumpia and pancit had pork in it and it was good as well. Reminds me of Singapore noodles without so much sodium. I really enjoyed my meal and I look forward to trying more things on their menu. Location of the store: next to movie theater and right infront of auntie Anne

A taste of the Philippines right here in Glen Burnie Maryland! If you are looking for authentic Filipino Food - this is the place to go. Bring your family and friends here to enjoy the food and amazing service.

We saw the ads for this small Filipino kitchen in a facebook group and went out to try. Friendly staff and tasty foods make a great combination. The filipino spaghetti was better than Jolibee. The lechon , crispy, and the adobo full of flavor. We were too full to try desserts and will have to go back for Halo Halo. You'll find this kitchen in the mall near the movie theatre.

I'm Filipino and I love Filipino food. Disappointingly, this place did not do it for me. The food was too greasy and too salty and not flavorful. We ordered several dishes to try and none of them were satisfying. Maybe we went on an "off day" and the cook wasn't feeling it, but that's hardly an excuse for a restaurant that wants to succeed. I have read more recent reviews that say that the food is good. I did go shortly after they opened, but not sure if I'm willing to go back just yet.

chicken adobo and garlic rice which was delicious. Beef steak was a little dry and the beef mami was just mediocre. Halo halo could have been a little more sweeter but it was a decent size treat.

Location: It's inside the mall next to the movie theatre. Staff: Super friendly, which makes me want to go back. Food: not sure what the negative comment guy was talking about but food is amazing! The pork belly and fish was juicy and tender. It was my first time trying the halo halo and it was really good! Highly recommended. Overall: we will be going back!

Friendly staff. Adobo pork was tasty. Lechon was on the drier side. Garlic fried rice was mashy and bland.

The restaurant has simple seating, buffet style views of some of their food items and features grocery items. It's nice to have a spot to grab different items to try while also sitting down for a little meal. In restaurant I tried the bbq chicken skewers with garlic fried rice. For my to go order I grabbed pancit and lumpia since those are my husband's favorite. We all enjoyed the flavor profile in each of these items and cannot wait to come back to work our way through more of the menu.

This time, the pork barbecue looked a little dry. Missing some of the "taba" (fat) at the end which would have been nice. Taste is still ok and just dipped in vinegar so it's not too dry. The grilled fish we got was a little on the burnt side which made it difficult to eat on account of the bitter taste and it was in a place where it was difficult to separate the burnt part from the meat. Also, my one beef is that there was an added credit card surcharge of 3% which I was not informed of ahead of time. This is big as my bill before taxes was already over $135! If I knew beforehand, I would have prepared to bring cash because that surcharge was big and this was not even verbally offered at the time of payment. I have been a loyal customer for many years now but we don't come as often as we don't leave near. It used to be bag fees, and I brought my own bag in for groceries, but this surcharge left a bad taste. if this is to be standard, please put up a sign at the counter or on your website. Otherwise, I like the variety of food and grocery items offered, but there has to be better communication with customers.

Content removed This content may violate our usage policies…read more It sounds like you want to turn this into something you can post publicly or send as a formal complaint. I can help you make it clearer, more focused, and more effective so it's taken seriously. Here's a revised version that keeps your core message but presents it in a more structured and credible way: I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at H Mart last night while shopping with my family. We came in simply to purchase a popular fruit-shaped ice cream, but almost immediately we felt unwelcome due to repeated staring. What escalated the situation was the behavior of a middle-aged employee wearing a burgundy shirt, who appeared to follow us around the store. This made us feel singled out and unsafe. When I confronted the situation by turning my cart around and moving toward him, he abruptly walked away and avoided further interaction. As a person of color, this experience felt discriminatory and unacceptable. No customer should feel monitored or profiled while simply shopping with their family. Because of this incident, we will not be returning. I also intend to report this experience so it can be properly addressed. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews staff behavior, and ensures that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. If you want, I can also: Tailor this for Google Reviews, Yelp, or a corporate complaint form Make it stronger/more formal (for escalation) Or include specific details like location, time, or receipts to support your claim Let me know how you plan to use it. Tailor for Google reviews. Include Catonsville location Here's a version tailored specifically for a Google Review, with the H Mart Catonsville location included and a tone that's firm but more likely to be taken seriously by both customers and management: I had a very uncomfortable experience at H Mart in Catonsville last night while shopping with my family. We came in to pick up the popular fruit-shaped ice cream, but almost immediately we noticed people staring at us. What made the situation worse was a middle-aged employee wearing a burgundy shirt who appeared to follow us around the store. His behavior made us feel singled out and unwelcome. At one point, I turned my cart around and began moving toward him to address the situation, and he quickly walked away and avoided any interaction. That response only reinforced how uncomfortable and targeted we felt. As a person of color, this experience came across as discriminatory. No one should feel like they are being watched or profiled just for shopping with their family. Because of this, we will not be returning to this location. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews staff behavior, and ensures that all customers are treated with respect. If you want it to hit even harder (or sound more neutral/"corporate"), I can adjust the tone depending on whether your goal is impact, escalation, or just warning other customers. Hit harder. Warning other customers If your goal is to warn other customers and make the impact unmistakable, you can lean more direct and forceful--but it still helps to stay specific and grounded so people take it seriously rather than dismissing it as just anger. Here's a stronger Google Review version: I am a person of color, and my family and I had a disturbing experience at H Mart Catonsville. We came in just to buy the viral fruit-shaped ice cream, but almost immediately we were met with constant staring that made it clear we were not being treated like other customers. The situation escalated when a middle-aged employee in a burgundy shirt began following us around the store. Not assisting--watching us. It was obvious and uncomfortable. When I turned my cart around and approached him, he quickly walked away and hid in the men's restroom instead of addressing the situation. That alone tells you everything. We were made to feel singled out and unwelcome the entire time. As a family simply trying to shop, that is unacceptable. Be aware: if you are a person of color, you may not be treated with the same respect as others at this location. We will not be returning. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated in this store.
