Expect a bit of wait during peak hours since the restaurant is small with limited seatings. We waited roughly 15 minutes so it wasn't too bad. We were craving pho after a long drive and was excited to try Pho Real because of all the great reviews. The shrimp spring rolls were great. Perfect portion. But the excitement didn't last long when the pho came out. I can tell by just looking at the broth that it was going to be a letdown and I was right. The portions were great but the broth was flavorless. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk to go and that was a waste. I took two sips and tossed it away. It was watered down with barely any condensed milk. Maybe I came on a bad day.....but Pho Real didn't live up to the hype for me...for real.

Food was good, but a little less spiced than I expected and prefer. Serving size is pretty large. It looks like a take out place where you order at the counter, but they do table service, and the waiter was good.

Egg rolls. This is all it came with; I would have liked some lettuce and other greens to wrap them in.

Given the great reviews, I was hoping for authentic Vietnamese food. However, nothing we ordered seemed that authentic. The pho noodles were of the dried variety. The plate of bean sprouts that came with it only had literally 3 mint leaves on it. The vermicelli for the bun thit nuong was slightly hard. The egg rolls and spring rolls were also somewhat lacking in size and taste. It was fine to fill our stomachs as a meal, but I would look elsewhere for "pho real" pho.

Friendly customer service, looked clean and tasted excellent! My family and I will be definitely coming back.

Shrimp and beef skillet with an egg and rice. My husband likes the pork best, but I haven't had that one yet.

All the food here is good. I usually get either chicken or tofu pho or the vermicelli. But I got one of their skillets the second to last time I visited, and it was delicious! I really recommend one of their skillets. Their taro bobbas are also really tasty. While the building is small, I never feel crowded. The restaurant is very clean. I could use more frequent water refills though. The staff is friendly and give off the "family restaurant" feel which I really like. (It IS actually family owned and operated.)

Pleasant atmosphere, small and local "mom and pop" shop vibes. The Pho was excellent. I had the thin sliced steak and the coffee. The workers were really nice and attentive. Felt like they were paying attention to the people in their restaurant.

We were traveling from Tallahassee to New Orleans on Wednesday and found this place by chance. What a lucky find! The food is delicious, all homemade (we even saw them filling each egg roll by hand) and super fresh. Plus it's a family business which is so great! Everyone is super friendly and we tried so many things that we loved, including the beef strew, fresh summer rolls, taro boba, egg rolls, sesame balls and bun (vermicelli noodles). We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stop again today on our way back to Tallahassee. This time we tried the pho which was as amazing as you would expect with a name like Pho Real! Go support this local gem!

This place is definitely a must try! I decided to switch it up a bit and see what this place was all about. I must say that I was blown away with the customer service, very friendly and attentive. I ordered the short rib and pork. Both were seasoned to perfection and had authentic flavor. The short rib was my favorite, meat just fell off the bone. Highly recommended!

Great prices and really great food and authentic! If I can't have my mother in laws cooking then this is a good substitute.

This chef in Pensacola clears it. What separates this place is discipline. The broth is layered and deliberate--clean yet deeply expressive--showing patience rather than shortcuts. Every garnish serves a purpose. The waffle egg rolls deserve special mention: the balance of textures, from the crunch of the patterned exterior to the flavored softness of the interior, shows a craftsman who understands restraint as well as flavor. What's most impressive is how the chef elevates ingredients that aren't flown in daily. Through technique, timing, and care, he extracts excellence where others would settle for adequacy. That's not luck--that's mastery. Pensacola is fortunate. This restaurant isn't just good "for the area." It stands comfortably among the best I've had anywhere. A true jewel, quietly operating at a world-class level.

The bathroom was truly so gross. The floor and walls were filthy and there was no toilet paper. There were literal feces paper towels in the trash because of this. I literally almost puked by seeing the state of the bathroom and wished I hadn't eaten there. This prompted me to take a look at their health inspection rating and it wasn't on display. That is pretty concerning.

As long-time fans of Vietnamese cuisine, we missed our usual Pho and Vermicelli bowls, but the fried rice and Bahn Mi more than made up for it. The owner is incredibly sweet and personalizes every order. We loved the convenience of grabbing our food. We decided to go all-in on their fried rice, ordering both the Chicken and Shrimp versions & Banh Mi. Since they don't do Pho or a Vermicelli bowl, the Bahn Mi is their absolute superstar. The bread has that essential light, crackly crust, and the roasted red pork is incredibly tender with just the right amount of sweetness. The rice had that perfect flavor without being greasy. The shrimp were surprisingly large and fresh, and the chicken was tender and well-marinated. Vietnamese Iced Coffee was the highlight. It was thick, syrupy, and bold with a strong caffeine kick balanced by sweet condensed milk. It paired perfectly with the savory fried rice & Bahn Mi. Di Da is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates authentic, home-style Vietnamese cooking. Whether you're a local or just staying nearby, it's a must-visit.
