New side Entrance to Chin's Cafe..
    Cheri Y.

Bien Dong Market was for Sale for many years, I posted about it years ago on yelp with photos of the "for sale listing". Anyhoo, it's apparently changed hands, looks completely brand new inside, has had a complete remodel & now, lucky for us, this new fab "Chen's cafe" has been built in the rear of the store. Also, two new parking lots have been built beside the store & a full parking area behind the store with a new side entrance that goes directly into the new Chen's Cafe with a new checkout just for the cafe. Every time we have visited, door dash drivers are coming & going out the new Cafe side door like a frisky stampede of delivery drivers on overdrive. Anyhoo, there is a lovely amount of mixed indoor seating arraignments, clean updated bathrooms & and a whole new fabulous menu posted online. They even have boba teas! We love the unsweet coconut milk with the boba. So hydrating & refreshing :) Chinese BBQ Banh Mi is superb as well as the whole roasted pig (only offered on weekends). Pork & Shrimp egg rolls are a must order. Yum Yum Yum :)... NOTE: A lot of the menu is not available yet as they have just opened. We are so excited about the new Chen's! The old business that was here was always my favorite till it went downhill & was put up for sale. Now I'm happy to report this new place has been totally updated & the New Chen's cafe menu totally slays with all my favorite dishes! They even have PEKING DUCK on the weekends! yay!!! :).... Happy Chinese New Year!!! Year of the Dragon! :)) Will return & often! Queen of Pirate'cola Approved!

    BBQ Pork Banh Mi Sub

1.$6.99 BBQ Pork Sub, (Banh Mi BBQ Pork) is worst Compare to Saigon Market. No Taste, very plain, no sauce, yet loaded with white mayonnaise-no taste mayo. Meat, BBQ Pork no marinade flavor- only look like seasoning-No Taste. Bread, no crunchy crust, look under bake, and something is off. BBQ Pork Banh Mi Sub at Chen's Bien Dong sum up on Word: FAKE Best is at Asia Market-down side is only Friday and Saturday Morning, and store is really small and tight walkway. Or better yet get Ham and Swiss Sub at Walmart near you. 2. Roasted Pork, taste plain-NO Flavor too 3. Meat Bun Bao, highly not recommended 4. Mung Bean Sesame Ball pastry is good to try.

The price is good. You just wait a little bit for 10 or 15 minutes.

I've been meaning to try this place since it opened and decided to check it out for my birthday…read moredinner this year. Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

First time trying this restaurant. There was 4 of us for a late lunch early dinner. The restaurant…read morewas not that busy. It was decorated like a Chinese restaurant would be. Nothing too fancy though. The prices were a bit high. I ordered a curry dish. I was not too thrilled about the taste. Everyone ended up taking the majority of their food to go. I ended up paying for the 4 of us,and it was over $100.00. no way was this considered a top class place , more casual. One dish was a seafood one and it had imitation seafood in it. For the price it should have had some real scallops or lobster. It was fake, and a couple of pieces you had no clue what it was supposed to be. Everyone agreed when we left that there were better places in the Pensacola area and much cheaper. The food I'm sorry was not exceptional or anything I'd have to go back to get. ( Rating due to the service)
