Very, very good! Everything was fresh. From the carrots in the banh mi to the shrimp in the spring rolls. They were slammed when I came in for a take out order on a Sunday, and I only had to wait ~15 minutes. I recently reviewed another Vietnamese place nearby (essentially the same order) and I think Pho Real comes out on top by just a hair. The portions were a little smaller, but what was inside the portions was just that bit much better. Will have to try more of what is on the menu! 4.5 stars rounding up. read more

It's... ok. The Pho itself is just meh. The broth isn't very flavorful, and they're not particularly generous with the amount of meat they give you. Everything here is just.. edible. I tried the Boba tea, and it tasted very strange, almost chemical-like. I asked my husband to taste it, and he immediately dumped it into the sink. What was left behind was boba pearls, but also a big chunk of plastic that had been chewed up in whatever machine they use. When we called, not to complain but basically just to tell them they need to check it as someone could get hurt, they literally could give two cares and were extremely rude. They will NOT be getting another penny of my hard-earned money. They're not very good, and don't care about safety? Quintessential Pensacola! read more

Without a doubt, Pho Real does it right. Every time I come in, the staff and owner are prime examples of great customer service. I make it a point to drop in monthly. Any time I remotely feel under the weather, their pho bowls are such a wonderful remedy. I highly recommend the Shrimp spring rolls and Tofu pho. Very tasty! Ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli and the grilled chicken, and we also ordered the Steak Pho. Next time I'd have them leave the lettuce out of the bottom of our bowls...that's the only thing we didn't enjoy. Everything else was great. It came with a little cup of sauce...half red(hot) and half dark (Unami) it would be better if the sauces were separate so we could choose. None of us wanted the red and there wasn't enough dark sauce to go around. Soy sauce would be nice too if the have it. The grilled bowls are very sweet and need something salty. read more

This place was so great! Me and my husband stopped by for a warm bowl of pho and were very impressed by every aspect of service and food. My husband got ribs and rice, they were perfectly seasoned and tender (they also came with an egg, an orange sauce for the rice and a bowl of pho broth, all of which were delicious ). I got beef Pho with steak and it was perfect and came with an array of different toppings (bean sprouts, cilantro, green onions, mint, lemon) so that I could customize my meal. The staff were gracious and welcoming and the premises were very sanitary and clean with food handlers wearing gloves and masks. Hand sanitizer was also offered to us as soon as we sat down. The owner and waitress were super welcoming and friendly. I ended up getting the egg rolls and banh mi. The egg rolls were okay. I really enjoyed the banh mi, the bread was warm and crispy. While speaking to the owner he mentioned that he had a terrible review about the banh mi and had asked for my opinion. I personally loved it , I could see why someone would complain about the pate paste and how it can be overwhelming to them. It's a normal ingredient in a banh mi so I wish people would educate themselves before complaining that something is not to their liking, but to each their own right? I really enjoyed the homemade "butter-mayo" and the over all flavor. I'm excited to come back and try the pho when ever it gets a little more chilly outside. read more

They have a few issues that they still need to work on, and being a new restaurant I am sure they will address these few problems. Everyone has different tastes so do not just focus on my review, read others too. Most of the staff was nice and easy to talk to, there's a number of them. The pricing was a bit on the pricier side of things but not breaking your wallet. The food, is were I had most of my issues with. Now for paying the amount we paid, some of the dishes were underwhelming but I am not complaining about that. My concern is with the flavor, or lack there of. I won't go into too many details but mainly, the dish I had was... a bit off putting but I ate it all regardless. The pickled carrots and radish that was served with my dish today jolted me awake, it was so tart, I had to steal some fish sauce from my uncle for my dish and it was just as tart. Unfortunately the pork on my dish was very dry and very tough, I gave up and pushed it to the side, I felt guilty about it but my jaw wasn't gonna last any longer. The noodles in my dish and the spring mix under it was nice and fresh so I give them that. But other than that, it'll be a while until I'll come back to give them another try. I'll let them settle themselves in more. I try to stay positive about this, and I hope that everyone else has a better experience with this. read more

I've been to Pho Real more than once since they've opened and won't be going to another Pho place anytime soon. The noodles of the pho/bun noodles are uniquely bouncy and chewy goodness. The fish sauce is not diluted like other places and all of the starters are fresh. The rice is not dry and the meat is juicy each time I get it. The atmosphere is a cute mom and pop shop. This place is such a hit or miss for the pho. I've got to go pho from this establishment 3 times now and everytime I did I felt nauseous and had a tummy ache after eating everytime. also the broth is pretty bland and isn't too good unless it's piping hot. Review Time: Pho Real We all knew this was coming; and with this being their opening weekend, the restaurant should put the best foot forward right? Let's see what this new Pho restaurant has to offer. I'm fully aware of how these new restaurants function during their first few weeks. As we all know, not that great, but I will tell you the owners and staff are super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our appetizer came out after our soup. I'm not one to lie; and if you want my honest opinion I will tell you. I truly hope my review and my discussion with the owner helps them. Unfortunately, no tea was brewed at the time of our visit, which was at 1:30 pm. It's ok, I took a sprite and my other half had a Vietnamese iced coffee with cream. As you can see it wasn't full, but this Vietnamese iced coffee hardly had any cream in it. I love strong Vietnamese iced coffee, but even one sip for me is going to keep me up past midnight. Now food, the egg rolls were really good; and the fish sauce was amazing. I have a very hard time finding good authentic fish sauce around here; and this was pretty spot on. He had Pho Tai; and I had the Bun Bo Hue. The Pho Tai broth had some flavor to it, but it is missing something? The noodles were different, not what I'm traditionally accustomed to. They were larger flat rice noodles and very starchy to me. I'm still convinced that Seafood Station is still number one in my book for pho. Now the Bun Bo Hue was extremely bland. The broth had no flavor, even adding the chili oil after didn't help. I will say the beef selection was amazing in the soup, but we have some work to do with this soup. The owner asked; and I gave him my honest opinion. He seemed very receptive and thanked me several times, so they can work on it.
