A3. Fresh spring roll with charbroiled beef
John D.

I started with Arthur's recommendation of the A3 fresh spring rolls with charbroil beef. This is served along with an amazing fish sauce. For my entrée, I did the number 16 charbroiled pork with vermicelli noodle bowl. This is served with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, radish, pickle, bean, sprout, onion, and a generous portion of fish sauce on the side. Again with Arthur's recommendation, I added a little hot chili oil to the fish sauce for a little extra heat. Will be

Cute small vibrant restaurant! We enjoyed a few different things off the menu, the potstickers, steamed, we had the pho with brisket and beef, shrimp fried rice on our first visit, 2nd visit we had a rice plate & spicy soup which was tooo good!

Table service: quality bowls, and metal utensils at a clean and comfortable table.

My wife and I visited for lunch at 1400, plenty of parking in the lot outside. Inside the restaurant there are comfortable booths for customers, three other booths were occupied this afternoon during our visit. Air conditioning is effective, noise level was low in the seating area we chose. My wife, ever the adventurer, chose yet a different selection this time, the "# 19 Saigon Special with beef". This was a generous portion of grilled beef strips, grilled shrimp, an individual egg roll, mixed greens salad, cucumber slice, a sunny-side-up fried egg, and steamed rice, with nuoc-cham on the side. She thought this was the most pleasing of all the meals she has eaten here. I also give it an "up vote". I decided to stick with my favorite, with a variation that includes an egg roll on top: The "# 18 Vermicelli noodles with egg roll and grilled pork". Today this item was prepared in a superior fashion: There was more emphasis on the greens and herbs, bean sprouts, cucumbers and carrots, with a slightly reduced quantity of vermicelli noodles. I like this balance of ingredients better. The nuoc-cham was more on target today, as well, but I still asked for a plate of lime wedges which our server, Calvin, brought without delay. I think both my wife and I were most pleased with the food today, there is simply no reason for anything but a top rating on today's performance.

Murals add to the upscale vibe

The fragrance of pho hits you as soon as you enter, the friendly greeting (there is a host station) adds to the efficiency of the service. It's an upscale place - this is near the Villages- so it's both fast and friendly. The pho is served with the basil and sprouts and there is always too much broth left over-- and they provide a container for that - so I can have it at home!

Shrimp Spring Rolls

Return visit with family (1 vegetarian). Holiday season and they were busy at lunch but we were seated promptly. After reviewing menu we ordered meals. App of fried tofu came out followed by bowl of wonton & bbq beef. A bit of a wait and the fresh spring rolls arrived at table. (Wonton & rolls were 1 persons meal choice, but brought during appetizer round, not with other 2 entrees) entrees of special combo w/vermicelli and soft chow mein w/tofu. All food was good, hot and plentiful. Two of us shared parts of vermicelli dish, ie, egg rolls, shrimp, pork. Delicious ! The murals on the walls are nice, love the blue sky & cloud light fixtures on ceiling. Parking lot shared with other small shops, but easy to find space. Additional paring behind building. Located on northbound side of 301 in Oxford, immediately before lights at Hwy 446. Very busy intersection so pay attention to traffic as you enter and leave.

Chicken pho

Been coming here for years and the best pho restaurant by far in Florida . I have always been particular about my pho and any Vietnamese food. All of the food is good, the pho broth is flavorful. A guy in the kitchen Staff makes their chili oil and it is the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit. I have a friend who's very picky and doesn't like a lot of things and she enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and they remember me when I come in and know what I want every time.

The food was amazing and loved the hand painted walls. If want authentic Vietnamese food this is the place to go in Oxford FL. We will be back!

How much pho I'll be wasting today.

Called a to go order in and walked out with the most translucent, clear watered down broth I've ever seen in all of my pho journeys. The bean sprouts were wilted and turning brown and had brown dots on both ends. I won't be able to finish this and that makes me sad because I hate wasting food. Accountability is needed here

We were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in Ocala and came across this small, convenient place…read more It's just east of I75 off College RD between SE 27th AVE and HWY 200/College. It's a small, unpretentious but pleasant atmosphere. The staff is great. It doesn't have Banh mi sandwiches, which I was hoping for, but we ordered the bun tom nuang (vermicelli BBQ shrimp) and it was fantastic, and for a decent price.

We came for dinner and being a small place, had to wait about 5-10 minutes. That's a good thing…read more Anyhow, I ordered the veg. Pho and my wife had another that was with meat. For her it's good as the Pho's are gluten free. We also ordered the veg. Spring rolls with tofu (extra $1.50). We each had an order and they were very good. The dipping sauce for my wife was GF and tasty as was the peanut sauce. This all being said, we both felt that the Pho's were ok. We were hoping for a bit more flavor. The server didn't write the orders down and very typical as when not written, something is incorrect. She left off the fried onions from my Pho and had to request them. The goodies of basil, bean sprouts and items were a bit shy for us and after asking for more, the server brought more at no extra charge. Very nice! The food was sufficient and filled us up! Would we come back? Maybe not for a while. We were hoping for a bit more Pho flavor. We would give them 3.5 stars this time. Sorry....

The boa buns were soft, the pork was cooked perfectly, and the hoisin sauce at the bottom of the bun was amazing. There were vegetables on top, including cucumbers that tasted sweet and carrots. The vegetables were fresh and tasted great with everything else. We also ordered the crab Rangoon which I personally really liked. I don't like fish, and this crab Rangoon must have had a large amount of cream cheese base. I personally really enjoyed it since the crab wasn't very prominent. The filling was creamy, the Rangoon was crunchy, and the sweet and spicy sauce it came with made a perfect combo. For our meal, we ordered the chicken pad Thai. Unfortunately, it didn't really meet our expectations. The pad Thai was sitting on top of a sauce at the bottom, which tasted like a hoisin sauce base. The taste was very minimal, which was disappointing. The noodles were soft, almost like they were overcooked. The chicken was cooked well and lightly seasoned (which worked perfectly for the pad Thai). The vegetables on top of the pad Thai were also very fresh and you could tell they were freshly cut. The lack of peanut/pad thai taste was the most disappointing part that unfortunately lost it for us. The service was good. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and were able to select our own table. The inside is decently small, with around 8 tables.
