After a year later coming back, the food is still excellent! If you don't have time to wait, go to McDonalds. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet. It is the combination Pho with rare steak, tripe, brisket, and meatballs. The most important aspect of Pho is the broth and noodles. The broth was flavorful and not overpowered by MSG. The noodle was made fresh when ordered. Unlike some places.. the noodles are sometimes made early in the day and left sitting until someone orders. Their noodle is made fresh to order. Broth was good! Pho came out steaming home. This place is as close as Vietnam as you will get being out here in the Village. Love it!! read more

This place knows what they are doing when it comes to making the broth, which is the basis of a good Pho. The place is bright and very clean inside. The artwork on the walls is very good. Service was also good. We got the A2 spring rolls for a starter. They were really well put together, and the peanut sauce was on point. We had the #4&5 Pho dishes. They were really loaded with meat! The Pho condiment plate was well stocked, as well. All in all, this place deserves the 5 stars I gave it. We will be back! read more

We were looking for something different for lunch, and discovered this gem. The seating was comfortable and the restaurant was spotless as was the ladies room. I had not had pho before and thanks to suggestions from my companion and the server, we chose 3 dishes. The fresh shrimp spring rolls were amazing! Incredibly fresh, and the homemade dipping sauce was perfect. As we waited for our entree, a couple next to us gave enthusiastic compliments and asked to see the chef. When he came out, the lady took his hand and told him that she thought she would never have her ethnic food again like her mother had made. When your in a vietnamese restaurant and an older person who grew up in Vietnam was floored with the dishes, I'd say that's a pretty great testimonial. The chicken fried Rice was hot, loaded with chicken, and the serving size was large. My friend had pho with shrimp in beef broth. Again piping hot, large serving and he commented it was one of the best he has had. This is definitely a new place that will become a favorite! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this authentic Vietnamese spot in (seemingly) middle of nowhere central Florida. We ordered two types of pho: the classic one and the beef flank.The broth was rich, flavorful, and tangy in all the right ways - could rival some of the hot spots in New York for sure. The Thai tea wasn't sweet enough for my taste but maybe I'm used to it being overly sweet (my fiance enjoyed it and he typically doesn't like Thai tea). Overall, there are only a few Asian spots in a 15 mile vicinity, so definitely come here if you're craving pho. read more

Im sorry to say.. this is just not a good place to eat vietnamese food We ordered crispy noodle with chicken and veggies . Waiter ( older guy) brought soft noodle in a watery tasteless sauce . He was very unfriendly , unlike the younger guy working there. Summer rolls have no flavor and were dry. We eat a lot of Vietnamese food and this place is no good. service bad, food not up to par. Utterly wonderful cuisine. Food is fresh, fragrant and full of flavor. The pho soups with the aromatics take you to another world. The flavors are vibrant and varied. The food is not greasy at all and the noodles are tender. This is the only place I have been where I want to try every item on the menu. Perfect rainy day visit for a big steamy bowl of pho. I had a big tasty bowl of rare steak and flank pho. The broth was delicious and plenty of condiments (fresh basil, bean sprouts, fresh cilantro, jalapeños, lime, hoisin sauce, chili sauce) to add per individual taste. Good quality beef and lots of it. A big pile of rice noodles filled the bottom of the bowl which was big enough to cover my huge head. One serving would be plenty for two grown men if I was inclined to share. She Who Must Be Obeyed had the rice noodle dish with grilled pork and egg rolls which was delicious too judging from the spoonful I was allowed to taste. The fried egg rolls were loaded with chopped meat and vegetables and each the size of a swollen thumb. The fresh rolls with shrimp and chicken were two fingers wide (I have big fingers) and filled with wonderful fresh noodles and vegetables. The accompanying sauces and pickled carrot and daikon radish made the rolls delightfully yummy. The dining area was squeaky clean. The owner and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. They treated me as if I were their rich old relative. I highly recommend this place and will be going back whenever I crave a satisfying Vietnamese repast. read more

Fantastic food and friendly service as they work out the kinks in their new business. I stopped in on a Saturday to check out this new Vietnamese place. Initially upon sitting down, the server seated us with no menus. After 25 minutes I got up and got us menus, and 10 minutes later we finally ordered. I could tell something was up with the waitstaff, but the owners were doing a great job to keep their cool and were working as hard as they could. We ordered tofu summer rolls, chicken pho, shrimp rice vermicelli, and shrimp and veggie fry noodles. As our food started coming out, the owner sat down at our table and apologized for the wait. 4 people had called out "sick" and 2 people left early for personal reasons. The whole restaurant was being served by the 2 owners and 1 woman cooking in the back. We were in and out in just under an hour, so even with the wait and the circumstances, it wasn't too horrible. The food was amazing! So flavorful and fresh. We took home a meal to go and had leftovers the next day. The summer rolls were my favorite- so fresh and the peanut sauce was so delicious I dipped my rice vermicelli in it too. Other comments at the table were that the meat was a great quality and that the food was extremely flavorful. We will be back for sure, just hoping they find some more reliable staff! read more

I just ate here recently, as it is new to this area. The Pho was excellent and the service was good. It would be nice if they closed a little bit later - maybe as they get a more established clientele. Please give them a try! I know how difficult it is to keep a restaurant open with such a small profit margin, but I really want more than just the chain restaurants the Villages currently has. read more

Uh, I can appreciate solid efforts in any kitchen...Pho Sai Gon, isn't one if them. I got Pho (FUH) with tripe, brisket, $12.95...easily 2X the price of Otown restaurants. The broth lacked any appreciable depth, no hint of star anise. Noodles were coarse instead of silky. The sides were very skimpy...2 sprigs ofThai basil. 4 paper-thin slices of jalapeño but worse of all, they were out of limes?! Fresh, fresh, fresh herbs and spices in delicate soups and noodle dishes. Specials daily. I love the chicken curry. Not too spicy, but heavenly smooth and so fresh. Lots of seafood too. I had their shrimp previously and it was cooked perfectly, not over done like other places. We come here 2-3 times a month and I have yet to get something I don't love or like. Excellent chef. I think this is healthier than fast food and so full of flavor. We feel so good after. read more

I find the young female staff (young American girl) very rude to our group. I'm not sure about her position but she stayed at the cash register and was instructing the male and female servers. First, I told her I prefer if she can sit us in a corner so we can have a birthday celebration for a group of 7. She said we can't and must sit in the middle. The corner has been reserved. Then when those people who reserved came, the rude female staff came to our table along with our female server and another Asian male server. They probably thought we're done because we finished most of our meals but still have some in our plates. The rude girl / staff demanded we finish up so they can move our table to the other group who reserved and just came in . Our celebrant just said ok and we just started putting our food in the container. It's embarrassing to be rushed by the staff. Im sure nobody in our group wanted to spoil the birthday celeb by making a scene and when there are also kids present. We would have stayed a little bit longer if not for this rude staff member who has no good customer service skill. Her approach is reprehensible. Why would they pressure us to give up our table and cut short our celebration when the new party came? They should have set aside the exact number of tables/chairs for that party. The serving sizes of the meat also have become smaller and prices have gone up. I told another friend about this bad dining experience which happened last month, and my friend who went in another occasion , also has a bad complaint against this same employee. I will not likely come back to this place again. If I'm looking for soup or Asian food, I prefer to go to Yummy House. Ambiance and service is way better. read more

We had the Ga Hoac Bo Hoac Heo Nuong (grilled beef and noodles) and the Mi Xao Don Thap Cam Special (pan fry crispy chow mein egg noodle with shrimp, squid, scallop, chicken, and vegetable). The grilled beef was good but not much beef and a lot of noodles and very good fresh bean sprouts. Dipping sauce was excellent. The fried chow mein nest was very bland. you'd have to hire a private investigator to find the seafood and chicken. This was our second visit. Food on our first visit over a year ago (e.g. Covid) was excellent so this was a disappointment. Probably won't be going back. read more

I love Pho, especially on a rainy evening. There's something comforting about a bowl of noodle soup. As a first time patron, we were pleasantly surprised to find this out-of-the-way Vietnamese restaurant. With family in tow, we sat down and put in our order: two bowls of Pho (one beef, one vegetarian for the wife), an order of shrimp/chicken spring rolls, a side of meatballs, and iced tea, and a Thai tea (for me). Total cost: $42. Great value for the amount of food. As expected, it was delicious and totally hit the spot. I'm fairly sure I've never left a Vietnamese restaurant hungry. Today was not exception. So sad. I drove 30 minutes to eat here. I sat myself and daughter down and the server (an American young girl) was very rude the second she spoke to us. I wanted to order gyoza and she was very nasty acting like she didn't know what I was ordering. I told her I always order them when I go there and she goes "oh potstickers". She definitely needs an attitude adjustment. I got up and left. The older couple next to me where leaving as well and once we got outside they told me she was rude to them as well. Everybody deserve a second chance. The waiters are just overwhelmed, maybe the kitchen too. The appentizer plates were on our table when they surfed the main dish. The food was good but warm not hot. We had no silverware. The waiter didn't know what kind of brand they offering from the wine list. It needs a better training. And a better coordination between the appentizer and the main course.
