A cold, snowy day called for some pho, we were in the area and this place satisfied the cravings! The menu is minimalistic - just variations of pho and some drinks. Our online search for somewhere to eat said this place has vegetarian options but it did not, something for vegetarians to note. I got the "Delight-Pho" (side pet peeve, as a Vietnamese speaker, it irks me when places try to make a play on words with the word Pho in a way that promotes its mispronunciation...) which had the fixings of a Pho Tai Nam - the rare sliced steak and brisket. The broth had a good depth to it, the meat was tender even if there wasn't a ton of it. The prices were on the higher side of what a bowl of pho typically goes for. Service was friendly, the pho came out very quickly, but our hot phin coffees, which are made to order, took awhile and came out about halfway through our meal. I wish they timed it so our food and drinks came at more similar times. I'd stop by again if I was in the area and craving pho, but probably won't go out of my way to come back. read more

Oh my god, first real pho experience and it was insanely good!! The broth was so flavorful and rich and not too sweet or too spicy, it was perfectly meaty and complex and beautiful to drink. Lowkey wish it could be bottled up and sold to drink. All of the different add ins didn't take away from the broth but rather added more to the beautiful flavor of the broth, enhancing it. It was like ascending after each bite. The service there was very nice, we had a good conversation with one of the guys. The vibe in this spot is very chill and lovely, and seating is comfortable. The Pho is a very small portion for the price with very little meat or noodles. They also portion out the condiment sauces in a little dish (as opposed to having a separate bottle for each) which makes it very difficult to use. I would not eat there again. Pho Station has finally opened in Wellesley Hills, in the former Crepeberry space across the street from the Wellesley Hills Commuter Rail stop. The place has a cozy inviting atmosphere with seating for around 20-25 people. The food preparation area is an open concept. I stopped by Pho Station for their soft opening and I sat myself at a table in the front window. The menu was very limited on soft opening. They offered three kinds of beef pho soups and a kids sized beef pho soup. The prices for the beef pho starts at $20. I went with the Delight-Pho ($20 plus tax) which came with bean sprouts, jalapenos, hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce on the side. My big bowl of Delight Pho was served very hot in about 11 minutes, which has two different beef cuts: thinly sliced steak and beef brisket, served with fresh herbs and vegetables-basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, red onion, scallion, jalapeño, lime, hoisin sauce and Sriracha. The broth had nice flavors and the thin slices of beef was very tender. After I was done, I was presented the check on a portable Square digital pay cube, which was $21.40 with tax and before tip. The restaurant is starting out slowly with very limited options and they plan to expand their menu as more staff is hired. I suggested a seafood pho should be added to the menu, which is my all-time favorite pho soup. read more

Cute bright restaurant in Wellesley with whimsically named choices like "delight-pho" and "power-pho". A great place for traditional pho, broth and noodles are delicious and they provide lots of bean sprouts and fresh herbs/lime on the side. I hate to leave any negativity and I dont want to get the worker fired necessarily, maybe trained more. But I walked into pho station, and was greeted by who I think was the owner. Very sweet woman, ended up leaving to pick up her daughter. I saw and heard her say this to her worker. The minute she walked out, things went bad/weird. The worker was on her phone, after a man came in and sat and ordered, she goes to him for him to talk to whoever she had on the phone? Idk it was really bizarre. He left annoyed once that happened. The entire time I was here, the business phone kept ringing and the worker was ignoring it. I think the owner has a great restaurant. Pho is really good quality and I have tried many phos around the world. I think the owner just deserves someone who will care for the customers and create a similar experience as she gave me. The price is doubled here and portions are small compared to real pho places. I guess that's what you get when you have no competition in town. My husband is Vietnamese and we get pho regularly, the broth is ok but it doesn't taste like the traditional broths that have been cooked for over 8hrs. If you're in a rush and need a quick pho fix, this will do the job. But for the price I would find something else. My wife and I had Take Out From Pho Station on 8/14/24 We Got two of their dishes: Joy Pho, and Delight Pho. As takeout, you will receive a container of broth, a container with noodles, beef, cilantro, red onion( it was easy to remove if you did not want it) and scallions. Then a clamshell box with an array of fresh, crisp, wonderful vegetables. These included, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and lime. There were small sauce containers of hoisin and sriracha. Take out included chop sticks, soup spoons and napkins. When you add the broth the noodles spread out. The meal was fabulous. The broth is complex and delicious. There is a remarkable array of tastes, smells, and textures. It was a real treat. I would strongly encourage a try. It would likely be even better having it in the restaurant. This place has one of the best pho I've tasted across multiple cities in China towns. All the vegetable trimmings are super fresh, and the broth is very tasty and deep while being light. Despite the hours listed online and the hours shown on the sign on the door (Weekdays, 11:30 am - 7:30 pm), when I drove to the establishment for a 2:00 pm lunch I was greeted with a shrug and told that the staff was on lunch break and that I should come back in 30-40 minutes. I do NOT begrudge staff lunch breaks, but if the staff are going to be taking lunch breaks at that time, list your hours as 11:30-2:00 pm and 2:30-7:30 pm or 3:00-7:30 pm. Very frustrating experience for a first-time visit, "hit or miss" is not the way to run a restaurant. read more
