I don't know where to start. The gluten free pad Thai was full of a bunch of oil in the container and was not good at all. I also got the moody street Thai which was also not good at all mostly watery and I truly wish I could return it cause it ended up in the trash not eaten. Tried three different entrees and two were horrible - Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was drenched in a very sweet sauce and the pad see ew was also drenched in an extremely salty sauce and both were pretty much inedible (and I never day that). My most recent delivery was terrible. Items that I have bought in the past (pad Thai and Thai rolls) were not edible. The pad Thai shrimp were dry, no veggies and no flavor. We stopped in around 4:00pm to grab a super late lunch. The atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant was super clean. It smelled amazing! The service was super fast and friendly, we had a bunch of complicated requests and they were all accommodated. I had a vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious, I was able to sub half the noodles for more lettuce, which was perfect. The food in general was really good and the portion sizes were perfect. None of us got the pho, but it looked and smelled amazing. Life is short....F it up! Family, Flavor, Friends. Walking down Moody Street we were in the mood for some nice warm pho. We opted to go to this place as it was recommended from one of my friends. When we got there, we didn't realize that they were about to close. The owner was very hospitable and took us in. This is the first time that I've had for over here. As you know, awful places are different and their soup is what makes them different. The soup was very soothing and had a different twist as it had a thicker bone broth base very simple, very clean and good. We also picked up a few other appetizers, chicken wings, fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls, and some chicken on a stick all were pretty good very simple again it's cooked like it was it would be at your house. Give us four stars there's always room for improvement but definitely worth checking out. read more

Looking for some inedible pho? Need somewhere to waste $20 / $30? Try Pho and Spice. After a long day I was really looking forward to a bowl of hot pho. My usual Pho Pasteur was closed to I gave this spot a try. I ordered Pho Tai with extra Tai. The order arrived in a little container that had the broth at the bottom and the meat and noodles held above it. Would have been cool if the steam from the broth didn't overcooked the rare meat before I even opened the bag. I could have looked past that but the extra meat I payed for was nowhere to be found and the meat that was included was thinner than a sheet of loose leaf. Rare eye round is already a cheap cut, do you really have to be that stingy when you're charging over $20? No scallion or Thai basil was provided, which are pretty standard and also pictured on door dash. Worst case scenario, at least I get a pleasant bowl of broth right? Wrong. The broth was cloudy and like nothing I ever smelled before. So much star anise it smelled like potpourri and was genuinely sickening. Even the single condiment packet of Lee Kum Kee Hoisin couldn't save it. Straight to the trash. Hopefully the Thai food is better but I'll never know after this experience. read more

My wings seemed to be straight from the butcher to the fryer. No seasoning or marinade, just some sweet and sour sauce on the side. My pad thai was so saucy it almost tasted like a soup. I went home for a visit in my niece and nephew took me to this quaint little place I have fallen in love with. We started out with scallion pancakes in crab rangoon the flavor of each was unique in its own. My nephew suggested the beef flank soup with rice noodles onions and bean sprout it was absolutely delicious. When coming here you don't you know to either use a spoon or chopsticks I suggest both, to get the last bit of deliciousness out of the soup. The menu is very detailed with so many amazing choices it's difficult to choose so I suggest you go and try a little bit of everything. Vermicelli Bowl: 4/5, very good but pretty standard. I would definitely recommend this place. It's pretty small, but had such a cozy and fun ambiance. The yellow walls projected such a happy mood and the jazz music had bopping along a bit. They had a pretty wide selection of food and served boba! We went on a random Monday for lunch. This place used to be our go to place for pho for the last 8 years or so. The pho used to be delicious and banh-mi, bun and drunken noodles the standout dishes. We dined in recently after a long time and sadly this place has gone downhill. The prices have increased and quality of the food has tanked. The pho broth lacked the depth of flavor, the beef tough and the noodles were over cooked. No jalapenos, mint leaves and the sprouts were given in a sad little plastic bag. Hot oil and sriacha was given in tiny plastic cups like they were gold. The portion sizes have reduced drastically too. I understand business right now are struggling and need to hike up their prices. But when you start compromising in quality and quantity your business is going to loose customers. I dont see myself coming back here which is sad because we really liked the food in the past. read more
