The spring rolls were good, but read the menu closely because it says $2.75 (each) but the picture shows 2 so I didn't know I was paying for each (oops) hahah I knew that price was too good to be true for 2 ;P the beef stew was good, the meat was very delicious although a little too fatty... also, it says "beef and carrot" stew on the menu but it only had one carrot :( The chicken vermicelli bowl was very good and refreshing so I would definitely recommend that :) All in all I would recommend this place for an affordable and tasty lunch. read more

Let's rate this by service, food, and quality. Start with food, the most important part of a restaurant. The pho noodles are delightful and I can't stop talking about it! It's not that far from my house so I do come here about once or twice. But I don't like the fact they literally give you soda! I mean for kids! If you give your kids soda they can get fat and they can't fall asleep. 8/10. Then comes quality, so it's clean but it's quite small, not a big problem. The service is good. To be honest, everything is good. And I LOVE pho so this is great if your the type of person who doesn't care if small things about the pho is bad and you just want to eat it. read more

Have been craving Pho for a couple of weeks and I must say, I wasn't disappointed when I went to Pho Tai for lunch. The service was fast and welcoming despite being extremely busy. I ordered the Meatball Pho and a Thai ice tea while my brother ordered the Grilled Pork Noodle Salad. I'll start with the Thai Ice Tea, it's by far one of the best Thai Ice Tea I've had since moving up to Bellevue. The portions of the Pho and the Noodle Salad were both very generous for the price and the broth of the Pho was flavorful. According to my brother, his Noodle Salad was also delicious. The only nitpick I have was that I wished they added more meatballs. I understand that you could request to add more but that would also require you to pay more. Very good Pho. Not terribly salty like many places. It appears as thought they make their own broth from scratch which is the key to great Pho! Many restaurants use a beef bullion which just doesn't cut it. I come here a few times a month, especially during the cold months and when I'm not feeling up to par. The amazing thing about this place is it's location relative to my j-o-b. I can get there, place an order for a small(trust me its plenty) pho tai, and be back at work w/ my bowl of happiness in 15 minutes.* The service is efficient. Especially the to-go orders. I think they send their employees to a special assembly class in the mountains of Germany. You get your broth in one container, sprouts/chilis/sauces/lime in another, and then in some miracle stolen from bubble tea...a vacuum sealed package w/ your steak, noodles, and onions. The Pho is good, not mind-blowingly good, satisfyingly good. It's pho on the Eastside. Do you expect much? I don't. However, it's cheap, fast, tasty enough to suffice and they open early enough to have pho for breakfast. Yay! This place is across the street from both my jobs, so I end up stopping in when I want something filling in broth form, and I have yet to be disappointed. Prices are a little high compared to what pho SHOULD be, but I attribute that to the Eastside Tax [which is really just a price hike]. I am surprised that I have yet to review this place considering I come all the time! I would have to say that Sunday is the best day to come its mellow and All the servers on Sunday are awesome! When I eat Pho I always like to look at the Bean Sprouts, Jalapenos, and Lime to see if they looked like they are recycled! I am very happy to say the veggies are Very fresh and there is never any suspicion of anything getting reused from one customer to the next! The Pho is always piping hot and large portions of meat and noodles (Very Balanced), usually I order the #27 with noodles and it is consist and good every time. I would say you can order anything here and I am pretty sure it will be good because I have yet to order something I don't like! It's like the cheap fast food version of an already cheap fast food kinda cuisine. Meat quality is meh, noodles are kind of clumpy and took a lot of massaging to loosen them up but it's kind of delightfully cheap and gross in the way that MacDonald's is. Sometimes it's easy to forget reviewing a wonderful eatery when you consistently get great food and this place is one of those times! This is a quick close lunchtime eatery for me and my office colleagues when we are hungry and on a time crunch so I am overdue here! The Pho soups are outstanding. Piping hot, extremely flavorful (not watered down), the ingredients are fresh, the meats always the best cuts, and the veggies always crisp and thoroughly cleaned. If you are craving something else I would recommend the Beef Stew with rice. Hearty, fragrant & unbelievably tasty. If you are really hungry or in a group, grab the meat egg rolls or fresh shrimp/pork rolls for starters, both of which are substantial enough to act a meal filler. The rest of the menu I am almost 100% sure is quite good too because I see different dishes going by and they always look amazingly delicious. The restaurant itself is always clean, cozy, friendly staff, very attentive (since most of these places are slow to refill your waters, check back, etc) and they have a large HD television on the wall if you are dining alone and don't want to read. This place is not vegetarian friendly. I came in on a cold rainy day excited for pho. Ordered the tofu and veggie and asked them to make it with veggie broth. They were unable to do that. I've lived in the Seattle area for 3 years now and frequently eat out. This is the first pho restaurant that has been unable to make it vegetarian. They had one item on the menu that was vegetarian, but it didn't sound appetizing so we left. Very disappointed. The one good thinks about this place is that it shares the parking lot with many other restaurants to choose from. It's almost 2019, you should be able to choose from more than one option that's veggie friendly, esp for this type of food. I've been here about five times and each time my experience has gotten worse. The first time was when I moved here and this was the first place I had visited, loved a big bowl of soup on a cold day. Then I started realizing how dirty the place was, how bad their customer service (couldn't get a drink refill to save my life), etc. The low lights were: 1) ordering a "large prawn" soup to find out it was the same small shrimp they use for every other dish and 2) being asked not to come in at 9:45 because they closed soon. If you have low expectations and want a big bowl of adequate soup for cheap, this place will get you by. How did my sister and I end up in the ghetto of Bellevue? It doesn't really matter. I was falling-down hungry and hoping for fast as well as healthy and my sis is a vegan which is why we chose Pho Tai. Entering the establishment, I noticed that the place was set up a bit like a cafeteria. We were seated by a harried-looking young man and given some menus. Since I was so hungry, I had already decided that I needed an appetizer. I chose the gyoza, thinking, "you can't really mess up gyoza, right?" I wasn't pleased that they showed up with my meal (I was F$%@^$ hungry! I wanted an APPETIZER). They were not greasy, but the filling was......interesting. To quote: Sis: "How is it?" Me: "I'm not sure. They smell a bit funny." Sis: "Funny-bad or funny-ha ha?" Me: "They taste funny too, but not like they smell..." *giggling ensues* Me (wiping giggle tears away): "They smell like pork and taste like....old shrimp. What is this filling? Shork?" Sis (thinking hard): "I think they must have filled them with pimp!" *dissolve into more giggles* The spicy chicken and mushrooms were suitable. The sis had veggie yakisoba; but she made sure to tell me that they hadn't used "real" soba noodles, just cheap noodles. I had to post just so people can ask for the "pimp gyoza". Please do. I am giving it 4 stars based mostly on how the staff is. The food selection is good and prices reasonable. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 kids. The staff greeted us promptly, cleaned and pulled a table over to accommodate us. 2 people asked us what if we were ready but I attributes it to trying to be helpful. By far the best pho in the Bellevue area. I think it's Korean owned because the broth is a lot clearer and less greasy, which is the way Koreans like their soups. Hence I do see a fair amount of Koreans sitting around me. My parents are picky eaters when it comes too salty and fatty foods. Close to my work. The service is great. They greet you and seat you promptly. If it's a soup dish, it's served to your table fairly quick. I literally ordered and a little after 5 minutes, it was brought out to me ( i actually timed it ). The broth is regular like a majority oh the pho stocks. I could taste the stock and a little bit on sugar in it. I didn't mind it. Sodium wasn't crazy, even though i wouldn't mind the extra sodium on my current low carb diet. They really hooked me up. Extra steak and flank is really extra, you actually notice it. I don't eat noodles as well so they hook it with broccoli, red cabbage, and a little bit of sliced up carrots. a little over 7.80 for a small, which is really a medium. not bad. not perfect. but just great. read more

The Skinny: It's cheap, it's decent and fast. The service here is lightning fast if you're ordering the Pho Tai. It's probably less than 3 minutes to get an entree. It's by no means the best pho i've had, but it's fast and near Microsoft campus. The staff is fast, courteous and really efficient. My husband and I have been going here for years. Tasty, cheap, and fast. We've had the pho, which is our favorite. They always get it right, even when we ask for changes. Less noodle, more vegetables, etc. Their gyoza is always really good and always comes out super fast so when you're incredibly hungry they are a perfect appetizer. We also sometimes get the spicy chicken and mushroom which is so so good. And their avocado smoothie, the one made with fresh avocado is AMAZING. I've gotten avocado drinks at many places, but this is my favorite. The interior is fairly standard, you're not going for the ambiance. The staff are usually friendly, now and then you have someone that you know is either having a bad day or just doesn't want to be there. Which is understandable, I've felt that way when working in food service, it's hard to hide sometimes. No one has been flat out rude or anything though. Take out is really easy here too, since their food is ready so quickly it's easy to just pop in and take home a nice bit bowl of pho if you don't really feel like sitting in the restaurant. Oh! And if you can't finish all your broth and you want to take your pho home, they always give us fresh noodles for it, or the opposite too if you have a bowl full of noodles to take home they will top off your broth. When we've had people in town visiting, we've taken them to Pho Tai and they've loved it as well. My brother asked to be taken here every few days when he was staying here for a few months.. haha I love this place and it will be missed once we move. :c read more

I am really shocked at all the bad reviews of this place so I thought I would put in my two cents. Every time I go to Pho Tai I am greeted with friendly and very quick service. This is one of the more cleaner Pho places around especially if you have visited ones in Seattle on Rainier so I am not sure what people are referring to when they says its not clean. I always try to hit up pho places because it is one of those things that you can depend on when you are hung over. I have been to I love pho, Pho Hoa, Saigon City on the Eastside of Bellevue and this is my current favorite location on the Eastside. Just so you know Pho Bac on Jackson and Boren in Seattle currently holds my #1 ranking but if you thought Pho Tai was "not clean" you probably should not go to Pho Bac. The meat quality is good and tender, the vegetables like the bean sprouts and basil are fresh too which I appreciate. Some places they are all wilted or discolored which I run from. They are open pretty late 7 days a week. Mon-Sat 10pm I think and 9pm on Sundays They serve teriyaki and curry dishes too. This is good to know because many teriyaki places do not open on Sundays.. and if they do they close pretty early. Only reason it does not get 5 stars is that it is a litttttttle bit pricey for Pho, but its Bellevue and Bellevue always add a premium everywhere you go. read more

Just straight forward and simple, Pho broth was on the salty side, nothing special with their meat and also on the lacking side in my opinion. Very small plate of sprouts, basil and the driest limes I've ever seen in my life. It was like if they've squeezed the limes before they gave it to us. Pricing was okay. Service was on the rude side.
