Second visit for Beef Pho! Prices are quite reasonable especially for what you get Love the beef pho broth. So flavorful We ordered # 2. And a large, beef, flank and tripe pho It really hit the sport on the cold winter evening. We also ordered a pork Bahn mi to go Was so disappointed. Won't be ordering a bahn mi sandwich here again. It was small, no cukes and spare on meat. Service was right on! Restaurant is well maintained

P1 Steak Pho

Just happened to be in the complex during lunch time so decided to try this place out. Was decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here specifically. I generally get the Pho Tai at any new Pho joint to just try out their steak and broth. They call their rare steak just 'steak'. So that happens to be their P1 offering on their menu. P1 Steak Pho (3): Broth was pretty good. Very drinkable and good flavor. The noodles were standard. The steak was in fact rare and thinly sliced. Not the best quality but good and tender enough. They offer small and large bowls. I got the large since it was only $1 more. It was still $14 for the large bowl though. Wasn't really enormous or large though. I'd say it was a normal size. I remember when a bowl of pho ran you a few bucks. I mean its pho. It's supposed to be the cheap stuff. At $14 for a bowl you better put some amazing steak in there or something. Pretty standard fare here if you ask me. Staff was super nice but I can't justify it unless you're really craving some pho. Overall, OK!

Best Pho I've ever had! I got the Beef Pho. The service is also great and we got our food in like 10-12 min. Definitely my new favorite spot.

Side order of Extra Noodle, two full bites at most $3

First time ordering from issaquah pho and overall, solid pick we ordered the brisket combination pho (p16 large $14), steak pho (p1 large $14), tempura shrimp (5 piece $9), extra noodles ($3) and 2 bubble teas ($6 each) Their pho broth is rich and deep in flavor, you can tell that they slow cook it for hours possibly. The side order of noodles probably amounts to about 2 full bites, a bit disappointing and had I known would have definitely ordered 2. Also the steak for the steak pho is INSIDE the broth. Upon first opening the noodles I thought they had forgotten the protein (as the combo protein was inside the container with noodles) and I whipped my phone out so fast to open a ticket with Uber eats but, luckily I glanced at the broth first and found the steak at the bottom of the container Their shrimp tempura was crispy and came with a fish sauce. For their bubble tea we picked one taro and one green apple, both very heavily flavored (they likely use a powder as they offer nearly a dozen flavors) and very creamy. The boba was cooked well and had a nice texture to it. Overall good food, good portions (smaller than what we get at square lotus in factoria bellevue), If you are in the area, would recommend as a solid pho spot!

They didn't include vegetables in their pho other than the sprouts. And their banh mi vegetables were extremely sparse. Noodles were slimey and too soft. Broth was decent though. Condiment Chili oil was good too. Love their service where they don't constantly dote on you. I like being left alone when I eat.

Amazing grilled tofu banh mi.

I'm officially addicted. These sandwiches are so delicious!!! I have to stop myself from getting one daily.

Gluten free pho, however broth is watered down chicken broth with little to no flavor. We were disappointed overall.

My friends and I stopped by Danji Korean Cuisine for dinner and I was honestly blown away by the…read morequality of the food here. As visitors from the Bay Area where there are a bunch of Korean restaurants, I can confidently say the food here is far better than your average Bay Area Korean restaurant. Between the four of us, we ordered a 12 half-and-half piece wing set, a seafood pancake, a tofu soup, and a beef bibimbap. Although food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen, the food is worth the wait! The seafood pancake was some of the best seafood pancake that I've had. The pancake had generous amounts of seafood in it and the crispiness could not be beat. Although the bibimbap comes in a large stone pot and is sizzling hot coming out of the kitchen, you unfortunately aren't able to extract any burnt rice from the bottom. Perhaps a little bit more oil is needed to achieve this? Despite this, it's still a really nicely constructed bibimbap bowl with a solid variety of vegetables. The chicken wings are crispy on the exterior and juicy on the interior. The wings are on the larger size, so once you get past the thin layer of crispy skin on the outside, I recommend dipping the wing back into the leftover sauce on the plate for more flavor. Last but not least, the tofu soup had a deep kimchi flavor, and was very mild in terms of spiciness. I thought the rice cakes included in the bowl were cooked perfectly and had a nice bounce to them. Overall, if you're looking for Korean food in this part of town, I don't think Danji Korean Cuisine can be beat.

If…read moreyou're willing to drive a little further away, you can get equally good or better Korean for less. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap. The display was beautiful but the rice didn't crisp up against the stone pot the way I expected, and that may have been because of how it was plated. I also ordered the six piece mixed fried chicken - the chicken was super hot, freshly fried and flavorful. I can definitely see why they advertise the chicken on the door. It's not my favorite Korean place but I'll definitely come back here if in the area.

Lu rou fan bento - "Braised Pork Belly" (4/4) The portion size is generous and includes all the elements you'd expect from authentic Taiwanese lu rou fan, or braised pork rice. The fresh vegetables, including pickled radish and cabbage, are tasty and pair nicely with half an egg, tofu, and corn. The dish lacks some of the bold Taiwanese flair I was hoping for, but it's still a solid meal. Popcorn Chicken (4/4) Freshly made and served piping hot, the popcorn chicken has a nearly perfect batter with a light, tender crust. However, the chicken itself is slightly dry. Traditionally, this dish is served with fried basil and optional chili powder for extra spice, but neither was included. Iron Buddha Milk Tea (5/5) I ordered this with 50% sweetness, and it tasted amazing! It was slightly creamy, with a well-balanced milk-to-tea ratio, a wonderful aroma, and a subtle tea aftertaste. Milk tea can be quite pricey these days, so it was refreshing to find such a delicious one for only $5.25.

I got it at 75% sweet because the last new place I visited had lower sweet, but this one I could've done 50% I think. It's really too bad this spot is so far from me (I live in Bellevue)... or maybe it's a good thing because I'd get it too much. Maybe better for my health and wallet. X_x This place also serves a lot of food, actually. I ended up getting a tea and chicken combo, and the chicken was fried but not overly oily and spiced flavorfully. The meat itself also isn't too fatty, which makes me feel like I'm not making the WORST choices by eating it........ You can get you own water at the counter, and if you order for here you need to put a table number, which I found out is already on the table, not a placard you grab near the ordering tableau.

However,…read moreafter we placed our orders, the space gradually filled with customers which gave us some comfort. The service here was quick, the ambiance casual, and the food is very satisfying! The roast duck was very tender, and the rice and bok choy well cooked and seasoned. The Singapore noodles had a stronger curry flavor than I was used to, and was good. The true surprise was the salted fish chicken with eggplant. I've never had a dish like this before, and the fish smell was a little pungent. However, the taste wasn't fishy at all and had a great umami flavor. The eggplant was also tender and cooked beautifully. This is the type of food that is very comforting and makes me want to eat more even though I'm full! I wish the portions were bigger considering its price point. Of the three dishes, I can only find myself justifying the eggplant to be worth its price because it is so unique. The Singapore noodles and roast duck I believe I can find for a better value elsewhere. Though I won't be a regular customer, this was a nice find with good food!

I read some positive feedback about Famous Kitchen in the past. While I was in Issaquah, I decided…read moreto dine there. The place looked new-ish in a small plaza; several other restaurants are within sight. I yelp-checked every single one of them. All of them hover at about 3.5 stars, plus/minus some. Hmmm. Anyway, I kept the original plans and entered. They have a Chinese BBQ area that was being cleaned for the night, which makes sense. It was nearly 7pm on a Sunday. The menu had mostly ordinary Cantonese varieties with several less common ingredients like fermented bean curd, salted fish, and bitter melon. Always a good sign. When I fished recommendations from the server requesting good 'uncommon' dishes (and I spoke in Cantonese), he still pointed to the 'normal' dish. Fine, I stayed along those lines, too. The food is alright. The prices are at Eastside level. This place is worthy if you don't want to drive out of Issaquah (to Bellevue or CID). If I wasn't in Issaquah, I would not purposely drive here. The Food: Curry Beef Brisket Rice 咖喱牛腩饭, $17.99 - 3.5 Stars Tender-enough beef brisket and daikon cover a massive amount of rice. The curry is thick and pooled just right. The flavor of the curry met expectations. I wish Chinese restaurants understand it is okay to give an appropriate amount of rice instead of a massive amount to avoid waste. House Special Fried Noodle 招牌炒面/粉, $20.99 - 3.5 Stars This noodle dish surprised me that it is closer to 'soy sauce king chow mein' 豉油皇炒麵 that happens to have additional ingredients. Few restaurants serve it this way. Not a good or bad thing per se. The ingredients tend to heavily absorb the soy sauce, and the flavor profile becomes a bit too uniform. On the contrary, some may find this method more flavorful. Salt &Pepper Chicken Wings 脆皮炸鸡翅, $18.99 - 4 Stars These wings ended up being my favorite dish. They have an excellent crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Good flavor, too. They are closer to 3.5 Stars. Nothing in the overall experience stood out to round up the overall rating.

We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. We were impressed enough to stay for dinner afterward. We ordered the burger and the Greek salad with chicken after learning they were out of prawns. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size. Service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive, and by around 7 p.m. on a Friday, the restaurant had become quite busy. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great patio ambiance, solid food, and warm service.

You can taste the crunchiness of the cooked broccoli and the tender pork was soaked in this delicious garlic sauce. The curry dish was also super good. So if you like some medium low spiciness to your meal, ask for just one star or none. Haha The waitress lady was very nice and accommodating. She brought my meal in about 12 to 15 mins and that is everything. Quick and convenient. As for the ambiance of the place was nice and plenty of lighting. It is on the small side with not to many tables. I noticed they had a lot of their extra stored drinks displayed and laying around the restaurant. It is possible they do not have the extra storage, so they had to put them in the restaurant, who knows. Overall very delicious and good Thai food, despite the spiciness level being too high for me. I would definitely give them a try and I also plan to return to try their other yummy dishes. :)
