Haven't been here in a while, but the food is just as good as I remembered! Great flavorful broth, good texture on the noodles. Piña colada smoothie is good if you like sweet like me. Service was great they always came to our table to make sure our waters were full and they were really friendly. Restaurant is clean and updated with all the needed sauces on the table. Great selection on the menu. Prices on the higher side for a pho place but its okay its all worth it

Excellent service! They were slightly busy but we were still seated right away, ordered fast, and our food came out fast as well. We were seated and done eating within 30 minutes. The prices were very reasonable as well. It's located on a semi-busy street but there is parking near. I highly recommend coming by!

There's a small parking lot so you can park there! People leave quick whether they're getting takeout or eating indoors so there's usually plenty of parking. There's only one waiter working who basically does everything but clean, since another older employee does that. Be patient! If you order a drink, it'll take a while because he was the only one making them. However, I got an avocado smoothie and it was definitely worth it! It is not too sweet! The pho came out within 5-8 minutes after I ordered. The chicken rice noodle in beef broth was the perfect temperature because I love my broth HOT! There was not a lot of chicken pieces but that's ok. There was a good amount of rice noodle and I was pretty full! You walk back up to the register and pay. They accept credit card. There's a restroom in case you need to know. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area!

The pho was good only reason I'm giving 3 stars but this is my second time and the chicken wing are so dry and the batter is so thick you don't get to enjoy definitely serving old chicken or need to change up the recipe and rice looks good but no flavor what so ever

There food is so good and delicious and they have good drinks too and the engross are so delicious

Pho Tai has always been consistent. I remember when they first opened a while back. When my family is in town, we usually go here. I ended up getting a number 6. The broth is good and the noodle portion is decent! The meat portion is a little small, but it doesnt matter because it's overall decent. Inside is small, but the windows make it feel hella bigger than it is. The place gets pretty hot, but they usually open the doors for the breeze to come through. All the servers there are pretty nice and I think they're cool. Parking is a bit rough, but you should be able to secure a spot.

We got here and we were hungry, but everything we ordered was not good. Noodles are so hard, even the shrimp eggrolls are hard, meat are hard w the Pho soup, the lobster were so hard too! Like what is going on w this place?, the first time we came here was last year and it was decent so that's why we came back. But tonight, will be the last time we will be here. And strongly don't recommend for any of u guys to come here, it's a totally and completely Ripped off and waste of ur hard earned money! Smh, very disappointed.

I don't have much to say about the place, the food was good and service was quick. The portions were alright, the place is clean.

Pretty good for a Vietnamese restaurant near my house. We ordered pickup and doordash. We had the combination beef pho, bun rieu, beef stew, chicken fried rice, and bun Bo hue. The bun Bo hue does not taste like legit bbh so don't get it. The broths are just a bit salty but just add a bit of water and it'll be good. The condiments seem fresh. They also have fresh wide flat pho noodles, but are pricey and they don't give much noodles. Will try other items from their extensive menu.

Fast and easy pho fix. Got the pho tai. It's decent when you're in a rush. Staff is nice and friendly.

    Barely anything and old lime

Wow this what you get for a large three meat balls and barely any meat and noodles. Barely any bean sprouts. The lime was old. I even called but she she said yeah thats what you get. For total 18.82 im never coming back. You cant even share it.

The food is exceptionally fresh, and you can tell each dish is prepared with care. The Salmon Mango Salad is outstanding--one of the freshest salads I've ever had. My partner and I usually come for the basic comfort items like Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, Lao Sausage, and/or their sampler. Occasionally we'd get their papaya salad, Tom Yum soup, or other entrees to share, but I do feel that they don't execute those dishes as well as the basics we frequently return for. I may be critiquing them harder than others on their papaya salad and Nam Khao because my mom does it best (no bias...). However, their portions are large and the flavors are great all around. I think they do some items better than others, but I have yet to be disappointed by any of their food. It's always great to try something new on the menu and be pleasantly surprised. But aside from the food, the customer service and ambiance encourages us to come back every time. They're kind, patient, and attentive all around. Whether we're just picking up food, dining in at peak times or during the quiet hours, they always deliver a great experience. Their dining room is fairly large and they have a softer lighting that compliments that TLC decor well. Through and through, Chai Thai is consistent and reliable.

We stumbled upon this small shop in a seemingly sketchy, empty parking lot and honestly wondered if we made a mistake at first. But once we walked in, the place was almost full at 5 PM--mostly with Korean-speaking customers, which is always the ultimate green flag. We were so blown away! This was easily one of the best Korean meals we've had in the Bay Area. It's authentic, salt-of-the-earth home cooking. The Soups: The Seolleongtang and Galbi Gomtang were totally legit. The broths had amazing depth and were incredibly flavorful. Seafood Pancake: One of the absolute best I've ever eaten. Super crispy and crunchy on the outside, and soft and tender with tons of flavorful seafood on the inside. The Banchan: They serve 10 different tasty dishes for banchan! Total score. Portions are large and the pricing is very decent. It's a bit out of the way if you're coming straight from SJ, but we are absolutely keeping this place in mind whenever we're heading up north toward the East Bay! Highly recommend.

I was going to get Pho but the Bun Rieu looked pretty appealing and it's not a usual item to be offered so I opted for Bun Rieu. My daughter got garlic noodles with beef instead. Both items were very good and filling. I like the fact that I can choose the size of my Bun Rieu as most places only offer one size and it's usually for Pho rather than Bun Rieu. Might try their Bun Bo Hue next time. The place gets pretty packed around lunch time so it's a good sign that it's a popular joint for lunch. We arrived just after 12pm. The staff greeted us with a smile, answered our questions, and were friendly throughout the visit. I ordered a bowl of pho with a side of spring rolls, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and the portions were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to choose from a small, medium, or large bowl. It's a nice option whether you're looking for a lighter lunch or a hearty meal. There are still several menu items I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion is to be patient if you're driving because parking can be a challenge during busy times. The staff told her we wouldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. About 4 people were late, but they still seated us. The restaurant kind of felt old and somewhat dirty. But hey, it was my dad's birthday. I wasn't paying for lunch. We occupied three tables and ordered from both the lunch and dim sum menus. I enjoyed dishes like shiu mai, pork buns, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fish, and fried noodles. The sesame balls were tasty, but the service was slow, and I had to follow up on our order. I didn't care for the bun with the hot dog or the other noodle dish. Later that day, my daughter mentioned she had found hair in a pork bun and that her cousin had eaten it. She also said every item he picked up had hair on it, which was disappointing. I didn't confirm this with my cousin, but it would have been helpful to have someone inform the staff. Fortunately, no one at our table found hair in their food, which was a relief. Overall, the food that I ate was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip from San Jose to visit again...unless it's a fambam family treat.
