When my husband and I crave the fish combo, we come here. It's soooo good!! It has been our favorite for years. The kids usually get their pho. It's pretty good. We just haven't tried anything else beside those. We always come back for the combo. It's a large place with plenty of tables. The service is quick. No complain from me.

This place was packed on Friday night, however they had quick and good service. I really appreciate it that they offered vegetables in place of noodles since I'm on the keto diet. It was very filling and yummy.

We ordered for take out from the phone. I told them no peanuts, and I am glad they were able to switch out the peanut sauce for fish sauce. They had a lot of tables and were clean. We got the grilled pork& shrimp vermicelli, fresh spring rolls, and the grilled pork chop rice plate. They also have che! We were able to add a fried egg to the rice plate.

Right off the bat- amazing service I called in on July 4th to order food for my family My family is very particular so they wanted all of the orders and their veggies to be separated into individual bags Tuan/Thuan was super quick and attentive on the phone while I made the orders When I got there, even though the restaurant was busy with walk-in customers and online orders, he and Vinh helped me out They labeled each item and separated each "family's orders" into separate boxes Don't get me started on their food, its delicious Thats why my family chose to have a bulk order from here for our holiday lunch ** Highly recommended!! 10/10 amazing staff, yummy food, and very clean restaurant

During these chilly days, noodle soup always hits the spot! Came here on a Saturday evening and luckily the wait wasn't long. I ordered the bun Bo hue, my husband ordered the bun rue, and my daughters ordered pho. We also got a side of fresh shrimp spring rolls. Everything was delicious, service was quick and friendly. I'd come back when we're craving pho again!

The chicken soup was delicious. The spring rolls were great as well. Customer service was excellent. Very attentive and food comes out quick. Definitely will be back if I'm in the area.

I recently moved to the East Bay and was surprised when I saw there was a House of Pho. I've been to their Sunnyvale location multiple times when I lived in the South Bay. I ordered the goi cuon (fresh spring rolls) and bun rieu (crab noodle soup). Their spring rolls are okay, and their peanut sauce can use some work. Their peanut sauce has too much hoisin sauce in it. It needs more peanut butter flavor to balance it out. The bun rieu had pork spare ribs, cha lua (pork meatloaf), and crab meatballs. All the toppings were delicious and typically what I love in my bun rieu. However, the broth is terrible. I saw another review that said it's very tomatoey, but I still wanted to try it. The broth tasted like tomato bouillon. It's supposed to taste more like pork broth with tomato flavor as the background. The broth made the whole noodle soup terrible despite the toppings being great.

Tried another pho spot in the east bay on our quest to find solid options after being spoiled with South Bay pho options for many years. I ordered Hu Tieu which is pho-like and comes with chicken slices, fish balls, squid and shrimp. The broth was decent, nothing to write home about honestly. The proteins in the soup were pretty good, nothing rubbery which sometimes happens with chicken. Noodles were on the Al dente side, so I had to let them soak a little before they had a texture I like. Spring rolls were a miss for me. Were a bit dry and not fresh tasting. Service was great-- I've never had anyone fill my water without me asking at a Vietnamese restaurant lol. Prices are very reasonable, around $13-15 for a bowl of soup.

Busy afternoon at the House of Pho! This is my first time and the food here is okay. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and my son ordered the pork chop rice plate. The portion sizes were good but the food was just okay. The Bun Bo Hue was lacking in lemon grass flavor. The pork chops were dry. The service was great though!

Came here to dine with co-workers on an off day. This is a decent Pho joint with fair prices. The place itself is about the usual but they compensate for it with tasty food items across the menu.

I went there with my wife this afternoon. There was not too many customers in the restaurant . We waited about 15 minutes for 2 pho . Food was ok but just takes too long.

This is my go to place when craving Vietnamese food because they are fast, prices are reasonable, and they have an extensive menu. We got rice plates, a Vietnamese iced coffee, and an avocado smoothie with tapioca pearls, I have also tried their spring rolls and pho in the past, which are also very tasty! Even with a busy restaurant, they were able to seat us right away and get our orders in fast. Parking can get tricky as it is narrow and gets filled quickly. However, this is right off of Hesperian Blvd so it is easy to spot.

This is one of the few places where I enjoy a good pho. Their serving is huge and generous and the pho soup is delicious. It is located at the corner of A St and Hesperian Blvd. There's a lot of parking and if you can't find one in front of the place, there's parking only within walking distance The place is very clean and the service is fast. I ordered the combination beef pho. If you order a large size, you can take home almost half of it since it's a big bowl just for one person. There's a lot of meat and slices of tripe in this bowl. The rice noodles are good and the beef broth is delicious. If you want it spicy, you can add one of their spicy sauce or a slice of jalapeno. There's a lot of selection of Pho and I know that all of them are delicious. If you're craving for a Pho soup, you have to make a pit stop at House of Pho.

I was going to get Pho but the Bun Rieu looked pretty appealing and it's not a usual item to be offered so I opted for Bun Rieu. My daughter got garlic noodles with beef instead. Both items were very good and filling. I like the fact that I can choose the size of my Bun Rieu as most places only offer one size and it's usually for Pho rather than Bun Rieu. Might try their Bun Bo Hue next time. The place gets pretty packed around lunch time so it's a good sign that it's a popular joint for lunch. We arrived just after 12pm. If we were a little later, we might not get a table at all. There was plenty of parking in the strip mall. There's a cheap gas Arco just around the corner.

This visit was finally my lucky day, and I'm glad I stuck with it because it was worth the wait. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff greeted us with a smile, answered our questions, and were friendly throughout the visit. I ordered a bowl of pho with a side of spring rolls, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and the portions were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to choose from a small, medium, or large bowl. It's a nice option whether you're looking for a lighter lunch or a hearty meal. There are still several menu items I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion is to be patient if you're driving because parking can be a challenge during busy times. Once you get inside, though, the food and service make it well worth the effort.

They never went to Le Paradis and we wanted to go somewhere our baby would enjoy - hence - noodle soup and Vietnamese food came to mind. Alas we got here and the parking lot in the back was empty... we walked in and it was empty and this lovely lady greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted and moved flowers aside to give us the bigger table. They had high chairs which was great! Divey vibes with display cases of baked goods and some potted flowers and plants - cozy! My hubs looked at the menu and made eye contact with our friends and said "uhoh - all english menu has me nervous. Pretty Empty. Nervous." Then the lady who greeted us - she joyfully came out with a bowl of chicken pho and noodles for our baby and said "I take your order but baby can eat first!" - she was so thoughtful and sweet and the bowl was perfect! Bits of chicken and noodles and clear broth... my baby loved it! She took our orders and the food came! I got the BanhXeo and it was big and full of chicken and some shrimps some sprouts and onions and the crepe had such great coconut flavor and texture. My hubs liked his Bun Bo Hue and our friends enjoyed the vermicelli noodle dish as well. As we sat and enjoyed the goodness of our meal that was when the traffic steadily moved through - saw about 7 to 8 different folks walking in and making orders and waiting for their meal and leaving - and some pick ups. It turned out to be a very busy restaurant. The kind lady - she then came back to our table after the dinner rush of to go orders were through - she chatted our table up some and she was telling us that she was the baker and gave us a small bag of macaroons. Her name is Alice and she is so kind. She mentioned that lunch can be very very busy because of the workforce coming through - but I'm glad we were there for dinner and got a nice laugh and conversation with her... the outside was filled with pots of flowers and plants lined along the parking lot and she had some outdoor cats just nestled in the plants. A lovely experience. Her macaroons were so yummy too! We will definitely keep in mind coming here when we're in the area!

Unfortunately, on our way home we realized we forgot the to-go bag with all the leftover food at the restaurant. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I was told they had already thrown the bag away because they waited for a while and were preparing to close. I returned to the restaurant around 8:45 PM to ask about it in person. I spoke with one waitress who said there was no manager available. Another waitress came over and I explained the situation again. She said there was nothing they could do, and the conversation became unpleasant. When I expressed my frustration, she told me to go ahead and contact a lawyer and then told me to leave the store. I understand mistakes happen and that food may sometimes be thrown away for safety reasons, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. A little understanding or better customer service would have gone a long way. We used to enjoy coming here, but this experience left a bad impression.
